Complete garbage. Wont download files of unknown type (adds a progress bar to the activity list but you can’t access the supposedly downloaded file). You also can’t use open in app (opens a modal downloading graphic but doesn’t ever download or open anything). This result is consistent across my iPad Air 2, iPad Pro (M chip) and iPhone. Do better ASUS!
Update: Wasted my time trying writing up use cases and steps to reproduce and (tried) to send to the developer so they can fix their garbage- I got “undelivered mail - email address doesn’t exist” from my mail provider (ProtonMail, which is awesome). AiData is a joke!
I should not have to purchase a new ipad in order to view the files on my NAS. It was a horrible move on Asustor's part to update AiData and not make it backwards compatible. I have an iPad Air and it is not compatible with all of the features of iOS 13.
Will Asustor be shipping new iPads to people so they can access their files?
Not being able to access my files remotely makes having this particular NAS useless!
Very difficult to search for files. Does not sort by file type. In each line file extension is at different location. Total mess.
Can open and see NAS but can’t download any files.
No sound
Since updating to iOS 18 AiData keeps crashing.
Still not updated for iPad mini 6’s screen size
I cannot connect to my NAS because this keep crashing.
App keeps crashing when adding NAS from auto discovery
Tap to open app and it opens the closes.
Can't use open in function. No other app list anymore.
for unknown reason, the latest update somehow how muted iPad 3 but not iPad 2. Hence no mp3 and mp4 audio for iPad 3. Yes, I have double checked my iPad 3's audio using other apps.
I have this for my iPad, but would like it for my Windows Phone as well.
AiData is very useful and I enjoy it very much. I am able to access the files on my NAS and I can even upload, download, and send a file for someone to download. AiData is in the early stages though.
One feature that needs work is when I search for a file and find it I am not able to edit the file (i.e. download, send, copy, etc.) which is a little frustrating. Also, it would be nice to have a separate section for files that I have downloaded to my device instead of just putting them in favorites section. Thanks for all your hard work on AiData . My Asustor is a great NAS.
Love it. I can backup my photos / videos to my NAS. I can access my files remotely. My own personal cloud.
Easy to use,nice job asustor
