Can’t even use the app without paying.

I think its a very predatory design to have users lock into a subscription, before they can even use AtlasPhoto i. the first place. I Have no notes for how well AtlasPhoto works because I was kind of dumbfounded when I finally got passed giving all my information. Which I don’t think you really need. At the end of the day this is just Google Maps tailored for good photography spots. I think 15$ is a crazy asking price. I have no clue how anyone could justify this price (To log on to AtlasPhoto mind you) Would not recommend at all. Your Ads were very deceptive.

Not worth your time

Creates fake spots with incorrect photos. Everywhere. Which makes me think they are relying on their location detection when people upload photos, there are picture locations in the middle of the woods that are landscapes with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Yes, I 100% live 0.6 miles away from the Golden Gate Bridge.

Horrible app, do not recommend. They need to get rid of the subscription, add moderation and verification, and do a complete overhaul. Hi feels clunky and you can’t close part of it sometimes, the time selector is always up when you are in 3D view..

Do not use

Not free app

Can’t use if no pay

horrible app

makes you pay just a few nothing‘s free about AtlasPhoto !

Scam

Pay for nothing

Not worth it

AtlasPhoto isn’t worth a free download let alone paying for it. simply do not waste your time.

Don’t waste your time

Overly long onboarding, 3 day trial, a hundred bucks a year to use it, and at least around me, fairly obvious and well known suggestions

Click bait

Lets you go through 30+ unrelated questions before coming to a screen telling you they charge $70/year.
Don’t waste your time.

Paywall blocked all functionality

I wanted to try it out but they forced me to pay so I deleted it, no option to try it out without a subscription with a “free” period.

Bad app despite high price

Very long onboarding that asks for lots of info. Immediately paywalled with grossly overpriced subscriptions. Even then AtlasPhoto is just bad. Make sure you cancel their subscriptions. AtlasPhoto is almost a scam.

Very much unusable

Besides putting everything behind a paywall, you can’t even exit the paywall, so you have to force close AtlasPhoto and reopen it. I am pretty sure not being able to dismiss the paywall is against AppStore TOS

Not free at all

I wasn’t under the impression EVERY feature would be free. But I figured some small features that could’ve possibly be helpful may be free but everything I click on, they forcefully want me to get the premium paid version.

Poor quality app. Bad customer service

Low quality app that adds very little for the money. Had and issue with my billing and reached out to customer support. Still haven’t heard back from them. Avoid at all costs.

No features without premium

App doesn’t let you do basically anything without paying for the premium version. It shouldn’t be marketed as a free app when there’s almost nothing you can do without paying.

80% of the locations were inaccurate

In my area I’d say 80s of the spots were in accurate - either the wrong location altogether, the wrong photo, or private property. The most amusing one being the small family farm here in New Hampshire, moulton farm - being confused with moulton barn in Jackson Hole Wyoming. No teton mountains around here.

Fake and low quality spots

The first spot it recommended to me was a fake spot.
Most spots are either fake or not worth your time. You would be better off just using Google Maps.
I wouldn’t mind paying $1 per month for a dedicated photo spot collection app. But the fake spots and the price is a dealbreaker.

It’s not a bad app, just very overpriced and refused to refund on the day it charged.

App is alright but it really just gathers a lot of information you can easily find on google. I’d probably rate it a bit better if they didn’t have these shady business practices. If they have to resort to that, then AtlasPhoto definitely can’t stand on its own two legs.

Locations that don’t exist

I live in Miami and of the first 8 locations I looked at, only 2 were real locations, and 1 was a private residence that you can not access. The other real one was a boring street. The rest were incorrect images of locations or total fabrications of places that don’t exist near me.
This is a horrible app, before getting to the insane price.

No reason to be a paid for app.

First you’re locked into paying for a subscription that’s grossly overpriced.
Second. AtlasPhoto so clunky. 3 Most the spots are already very widely known if you find any in your city. 4 many of the photos you see are completely unrelated to the location , people dumping gallery photos. 5 many locations are completely wrong, you’ll see a scenic nature photo and the gps spot will be at someone’s house 10 miles from any nature. No way to comment , no way to rate submissions.

Price

At first it seemed like a cool app, at first it said it doesn’t cost anything. But as you get into AtlasPhoto you do have to pay a subscription.
