Doesn’t work, and login. Created a new account. What a piece of trash

Even following the user guide for setting up the newest version of the home scent machine, AromaRetail still won’t successfully connect the device to my home network. AromaRetail just continues to say “Password is invalid. Try again.” whenever I try to put my WiFi password into AromaRetail . I know I’m not mistyping it — I’ve even copied it straight from my router’s admin page and pasted it into AromaRetail . Still the same message. I’m tech savvy and know some devices can’t connect to 5Ghz WiFi networks so I even disabled that to force it to connect to the more universal 2.4Ghz band. Still the same message. The scent machine itself is great, and I’m glad they still have manual buttons on it because I guess mine won’t be a true smart device anytime soon.

All of the above and not to mention you can’t update the time on the machine.

Horrible app. Won’t even let me add my device and didn’t even let me use my user id/pw from the old app.

AromaRetail is not connecting to my machine. I had to manually program it. The confirmation emails came to my account 24 hours after I requested them! AromaRetail is connected to wifi but will not connect to the machine and let me make changes on AromaRetail . Please fix it!!

One can only wonder, did they even test AromaRetail before releasing it.
1. You can’t sign in with existing credentials - you have to create a new account.
2. It logs you out daily and requires you to log back in.
3. I can’t add my device - I follow the steps and it just sits there unable to detect it.
4. They released a new app instead of just updating the old. Why?

So far it seems like a downgrade which is wild since the old app already was so terrible. Can’t believe they went backwards with a new app. Please pay a good developer so that people can properly use your products.

I really wanted to love this product, spent months justifying the cost. Do not connect your device to this terrible app. It will NEVER work properly if you do. Worked great right out of the package, plugged in, no app. I caught myself wanting to play with AromaRetail settings, set a little schedule, adjust the scent percentage. DO NOT DO IT. Now I cannot choose a schedule , I cannot reset my device, cannot delete my device, AromaRetail does nothing. It’s is useless. and there is zero scent coming from the dispensing mechanism now. AromaRetail destroyed my device’s ability to function.

App is very finicky and lacks a lot of features. Also when things update my scent machines don't go off all the time. Overall, not a good app. Love the scents and supporting small businesses though

This new version of AromaRetail is completely unusable. It doesn’t connect with the Aroma unit even though it thinks it is connected. Not sure if the issue is with AromaRetail or the firmware upgrade they required. I’m sure there is something they wills attribute to user error, but ultimately it is a customer experience. Awful.

I’m going back to legacy app since at least that still connects.

Imagine not even getting a simple feature like on/off switch! To say AromaRetail is amateur would be to give it more credit than it deserves. Also why are you broadcasting an SSID??

The first issue was not receiving a confirmation email to activate my account.. the second was it kept failing to connect to the device once I was to the naming it page. Spent all of this money and it’s junk.

Can’t even find my WiFi. So whatever app features the representative told me to do to adjust settings, I can’t do. I feel in love with the scent of my choice and decide to purchase the machine. Expensive for unit. Hopefully at least it will do the function to make my house smell with the scent I chose.

I just received a machine very excited to set it up however, I cannot make it past the set up Wi-Fi screen, unfortunately it’s very dissatisfying and I’m not sure why it’s not working considering it’s right next to my router… sadly this does not work as advertised..

I want to support this company. I enjoyed their clunky Scent Machine 101 enough to buy a couple of the room atomizers.

Part of that meant moving to this new app. Changes made here do not update devices. They may possibly behave correctly for a few minutes, but will ultimately revert to running at a VERY high percentage randomly. It seems to decide whenever you plug one it is noon. It does not set the clock.

I just don’t know how someone puts something like this for sale that literally doesn’t do the one thing it claims to.

The scents are great. The tools (this software specifically) is terrible.

The diffusers do not work as advertised & sold. The Room diffuser does not work with my WiFi and I cannot change settings manually, plus it is LOUD. Not to mention, the company is aware the black travel diffusers do not work as powerfully as the white or red, and yet they sell the defective product at the same price, but it is not the same value. They refuse to change this. Frustrating and disappointing

Machine is good, AromaRetail is trash, always bugs out, always loses the connection

So I know what it is like to be a small business. And these one star ratings have got to be disheartening. I just want to say the business itself, and the customer service are far above and beyond almost any others I have dealt with. AromaRetail definitely needs some work. I can’t even use it right now because it just continues to say my password is incorrect for my home network and it’s not. However, AromaRetail does not reflect the wonderful customer service and the wonderful product that this company provides
