TOP TIER Reviews

I thought TOPTIER was going to help me find the specific stations that sell top tier since I drive a lot off my work. All TOPTIER actually does is tell me where gas stations are located, not specific to top tier. I don’t need help finding a gas station since I have more than half a brain cell. TOPTIER is a waste of space on my device.

I downloaded TOPTIER again after the response from the developer in hopes that it did what it says it does. The very first two Exxon stations it takes me to are NOT TOP TIER! I see zero improvements from the previous time I used it. The concept is great, but TOPTIER is completely useless.

Many of the gas stations listed in our area as Top Tier are not correctly branded. The Gas Buddy app has a more accurate listing of gas station brands than TOPTIER. The many steps TOPTIER requires to obtain a list of gas stations makes a distraction while driving.

Update: I received a response from the developer that database has been updated. I checked four days after receiving the notice of the database update and the stations listed as Top Tier in our area are mostly not Top Tier. The stations listed are mostly inaccurate on V1.4.

Top Tier Stations listed for my area (The Villages, Florida) were NOT current. I went to 4 locations, listed as Shell, only to find they concerted to Independent facilities and have not sold Shell gas for over 3 years. Would be ideal if developer provided means to provide feedback so TOPTIER could provide some relevance. Not the case currently.

I used TOPTIER as a guest just to see if the previous reviews were accurate and they were. I live in NC and the closest Top Tier fuel was 411 miles away in Kentucky. While I know Top Tier fuels aren’t on every corner, but 411 miles away???? I’m deleting TOPTIER

I've searched the website for Top Tier Diesel stations and have located numerous sites.

I searched the same location on TOPTIER , and it couldn't find any stations.

There are a lot more top-tier gas stations than just Shell or Citgo. TOPTIER is trash on so many fronts. Why did the developers try if they’re gonna fail?

Instead of routing to my preferences it listed stations > 20 miles away. Not too brands. I don’t trust it

Without price per gallon, TOPTIER is useless - removing

Was trying to find a top tier gas station near me, but most of the gas stations in TOPTIER are no longer accurate due to gas stations changing ownership in the last six months. It even showed a gas station in a location where there hasn’t been a gas station for about 2 years now. There is also no way to report these errors in TOPTIER .

You need to add non ethanol gas.

I shouldn’t need to type location, TOPTIER should know where I am. Yes, I registered and log on.

Nice to have an app so when I’m out on the road in an unfamiliar area, I know where to find top tier stations. My only gripes are a couple glitches I’ve run into and I’m not understanding why some top tier stations that used to show up on the website aren’t showing up anymore. Like Sunoco. It’s still on the list of approved stations, but all Sunoco locations are no longer recognized on the station finder.

I would love to be able to see what stations are near me when I am using CarPlay.

I used to use the Gas Buddy app to find Top Tier gas stations but they removed the Top Tier filter and I had to resort to sticking only with brands I know offhand are Top Tier (Mobil, Shell, Sunoco) and keep checking into the Top Tier site to verify they still uphold their certification. Here finally an app that maintains only the brands that meet the criteria and how to navigate to them.

If you understand what is top tier gas that’s what you need to find gas stations… they could improve and have lessons inside.. people would rate it better but it delivers what it promisses to be…
