About Archaeologist

Joe is an explorer, he likes to dig, find hidden objects; his wife, Bonnie, is a paleontologist and soon, there will be other characters and new adventures, looking for other mysterious objects.

They will learn about dinosaurs with puzzles and sound effects and can color the characters using a magic brush.

Some of our games have free trial versions, which means you can try them out first before purchases, supporting our team and enabling us to develop new games and keep all our apps up-to-date.

Animations were created for the youngest players and the game is packed with information on dinosaurs.

Little ones play and learn the names of dinosaurs, their size and their habits.

* NOTE on title “Archaeologist”: we would like to point out that the science that studies dinosaurs is Paleontology.

Like a true explorer, look for all the bones hidden underground to build the dinosaur skeleton.

We produce tailor-made games, without invasive advertising by third parties.

However, the protagonists of the saga of the archaeologist will not take care only of dinosaurs.

Children will all enjoy the various game modes.

The game graphics are carefully designed and full of color.

We produce games for our kids, and it is our passion.

“All my assistants started by playing this awesome game” Indiana J.

Each dinosaur comes with an illustrative fact sheet.

My three-year-old loves it she keeps going on this game over and over and over again this is one of her favorite games and I am in love that she is in love with the game.I am reading this game correctly and she is fine for the iPad so she can play the game I love this company like seriously. She even knows how to say archaeologists and she knows the different types of dinosaurs that they are high speech may be a little bit slurred but she can definitely identify each dinosaurs and please feel bones in the correct place is how long is it I love this I love is that allow children to explore and learn.

3 yr old excited to see 3D dinosaurs through camera

We only have the free version of Archaeologist , so have not seen the whole game. (It forced us to rate the game.) We have put the bones together of a few dinosaurs and looked for them through the camera. Finding the 3D dinosaurs is so delightful for my 3-year old, niece. She squeals with delight when the dinosaur roars. (I wish they all would roar.)

Update: bought the full game. There is not much to it. She has another Dino game that is much better, BUT she really wants to find the 3D T- Rex, and for that, I paid $3.

Puzzle pieces block view

I don’t like being co-opted into giving a review to unlock a puzzle for my child. That being said the puzzle pieces are very large on the screen which can be confusing for kiddo. I don’t know if decreasing their opacity a bit until they lock in place would help or decrease the scale a bit so you’re not trying to find where a puzzle piece goes while there are other pieces on the spot. Otherwise it is very cute and kiddo enjoys the puzzles very much.

Great game but needs fixing

My son LOVES this game, especially the 3D Dino part. That’s what he looks forward to the most after putting the puzzles together, but works when it wants. Sometimes it just won’t work no matter how many times we refresh Archaeologist or exit the game. At first we thought it could be our lighting, our angle, the floor or our camera but it happens on both on our iPad and phone. If that could be fixed then the game would be a 5 star hands down.

Son loves it but I have a question

My 3 year old is obsessed with dinos and was thrilled I bought him the full version of this. However I just had to factory reset and renown load all of our apps. It says on the download page that I purchased the full version but I can’t figure out how to unlock everything in the actual game or restore my purchase. Any help would be really great.

My son LOVES this app!

My three year old son absolutely loves dinosaurs. He knows all of the names, what they look like, etc. The 3D feature where you can see the dinosaur in your room through your device’s camera is so cool. Our son has become crazy for Archaeologist. I love that it’s educational and offers interesting facts for each dinosaur. Seriously considering paying for the full version.

Good game for 3

My daughter is 4 1/2 and she loves Archaeologist. Yet as a parent I don’t want to pay $3 for a game she could finish in half an hour. So, that’s why I only gave it 4 stars. I think it would be great for children under 4 who would take a little longer to put the puzzles together making it more worth the money.

Archaeologists study humans, paleontologists study dinosaurs

Archaeologists study humans, not dinosaurs. Advocating excavation is irresponsible. There are local, state, and federal cultural resource laws to protect our archaeological/cultural resource heritage. Also, there are times when excavation is unnecessary. Archaeological resources are finite. Once displaced, they are gone. If “excavated” by an individual or group of individuals who are not trained archaeologists or being taught/supervised by a trained this app, you end up with lost context, irresponsible curation, and an illegal artifact trade. You are not promoting archaeology but treasure hunting. And again...if you want a dinosaur based game, you are looking for paleontology.

Fun But Forces Ratings

My LO seems to enjoy the game so far but after a couple digs, it forced a rating in order to play with a certain animal and we couldn't get anything else to work without it. I'm not a fan of forced ratings, especially when we haven't been able to explore the game enough to truly give our opinion. Best I can tell at this point is that it's a fun little game for kids that like dinos and I'm hoping there's a little more to it as we "dig" deeper.

Great app!

Very cute and easy to navigate, my son is three and a half and can’t get enough of this game. It took a few tries for him to understand you have to tap the pick but other than that he caught on all by himself. He really loves being read the little information tabs after he completes his puzzle.

Another In-App Purchase Hell Hole

I bought and paid Archaeologist for my child thinking it would be sufficient, but Archaeologist has a large button with more In-app games for purchase!! The button/link “strategically” placed knowingly entices children to go and click on these new games with more In-app purchases to be made. Th children have tantrums when you’ve had enough buying these endless in-app games. They should know better than to do this and Apple App Store should restrict them from doing this!

We love diggin for dinosaurs!!!

My three year old loves this game. I gave the game 4 stars instead of 5 because I would love if they said the name of the dinosaurs out loud at some point. I think it would also be pretty cool if they could take care of the dinosaurs in other ways than just feeding them (ex. Brushing teeth, tissue, bandaid)

My three year old daughter loves this game

At first I thought it might not be very age appropriate since it takes some figuring out, and even so, she still asks me for a lot of help, but she loves seeing the dinosaurs with the AR function, even though it frightens her a bit.

Dino Puzzle Review

My 2 year old son absolutely loves building these new Dino puzzles. Constantly solving more puzzles wanting me to purchase and unlock new dinosaur puzzles to build. Great problem solving, critical thinking, and challenging young baby’s minds to grow and develop! Overall 5 star.

Still have to play

The game seems pretty good, my son is running thru it very quickly, but there is a LOT of ads, so many that here i am... writing a review so he can play another level... will leave another review later on.

great app!

This is a amazing app for kids who love to learn about new things, I got Archaeologist for my little brother he loves learning all about dinosaurs. You don’t only get to learn about dinosaurs, you get to color them and see them 3D! He absolutely loves Archaeologist!

Teaching children FALSE definition of archaeology!

Seriously if you don’t know that archaeology is NOT about digging up dinosaurs, you should be ashamed of yourself! Nothing bugs me more than people who don’t know archaeology has NOTHING TO DO WITH DINOSAURS! And here you are teaching the idiotic falsehood to children. Get your facts straight—it’s called PALEONTOLOGY! Paleontologists dig and study dinosaurs; archaeologists dig and study HUMANS through cultural remains—no dinosaurs, sorry! I downloaded Archaeologist just to tell you this now I’m going to delete it.

Great puzzles and characters

Both my kiddos 2.5 and 3.5 love this game. The puzzle are easy to play and enjoy. The shapes fade and only show relevant piece when moving it into place. We really enjoy the different levels and interactions it has

Super cool dinosaur app

Downloaded for my 1st grader while waiting for dinner and the fun didn’t stop. It has an archeological dig level, a puzzle level to put the findings together, trivia on each discovered dinosaur, and to top it off a 3D level where they can be viewed right before your eyes. Great app

By

Amazing Graphics

I was uncertain at first about this for my 4 yr old Dino loving daughter but WOW. It’s really cool and that’s coming from her 47 yr old Momma. An option for consideration per her, using more tools on the digs. Add more information before the 3D photo portion. She says bigger pictures in general. Awesome app.

Great puzzle game for little kids who love dinosaurs

My son is almost three and this game is challenging for him but he loves it. Obviously I have to read some things to him but he likes to dig out the bones and then put them together in the puzzle part. Good game for 2-5 year olds.

By

Great for a Dino loving kid

My son loves digging for fossils and learning about the Dino's he finds. I appreciate that there are no ads and a reasonable price to unlock all levels for play. He loves to be able to go back and find the same dinosaurs a second time if he chooses.

By

My kid loves it. But...

With the price tag of 2.99 I wish I knew that there were more than 13 more levels. My kiddo can get through each level pretty quickly. Just doesn’t seem worth it.

Surprised

My two 4 year olds have so much fun with the interactive portion. The puzzles are just challenging enough for their attention spans and knowing they will get to see their finds in the living room is so much fun. Their laughs and squeals make this game so worth it.

Fantastic

Our 5 year old grandson is game. He has studied dinosaurs and loves to learn about them but mostly loves to find their bones. The descriptions about each along with the chart giving specific details are very informative.
