Slower, Missing data

The new app is slower and I’m missing data from the old app and from when I sleep. Can I just keep using the older app? Why are you asking me to rate this?

Did not work with libre 2

I am switching from the freestyle this app 2 to the 3+ because support for the 2 is ending. I wanted to switch apps so I’ll have some history when I start the new 3+ sensors.
Libre says it’s compatible with the v2 sensors, but when I tried it through the error that it’s not compatible. And now the sensor can’t be used with the older app (freestyle this app 2)
Called support and was told I need to use the freestyle this app 3 app when I switched. He didn’t know what Libre was.

Too many menus, too many taps.

Moving from the this app 3 app for the last three years, this new app is missing is the drop down menu for logging carbs and insulin. Instead of everything being on one page, everything is in its own category: rapid acting insulin, long acting insulin, food (which you can’t specify what meal it is anymore unless you type it out in the comment section every single time), exercise, etc. That’s too many taps. This makes it take even longer to log your data in, and it’s unintuitive.

Better than the old app

Cons: for some reason, you have to have a Freestyle account (huge rating reduction here as it’s totally unnecessary). You can only silence alarms for 6 hours; at least 8 would be better. While silenced, Libre will repeatedly notify you to remind you it’s silenced. The bones of the old this app 3 app are still there, so still no support for watchOS or widgets.

Pros: You can now totally silence alarms, including the urgent low, for up to 6 hours. Alarm tones gradually increase in volume when not silenced. The UI is greatly improved.

Too much loss of signal alarm

Even when phone is close by me…

Add Apple CarPlay compatibility

One of the most important times to see you blood sugar level is when driving.

Needs more

It’s too simple. Can’t view things in details, no Apple Health connectivity, no widgets, almost no customization. Easily could be improved.

Very insistent Alarms

App works for what it’s supposed to do, but it will continue to alarm if your out of range even after you look at Libre . It will alarm for the entire time you are bringing your sugar down to within range.
Also, the connection is not particularly reliable, but you can get recent history by tapping the phone and sensor together.

Thanks for updating…

Why is there no native Apple health integration? We as diabetics would benefit from native Apple Health integration not having to use work arounds. I know by keep all my records in one location I can make the best medical decisions for myself without having to navigate several apps, websites, logins, mfas, etc. Rant over.

Libre does look visually much more appealing than the last iteration for this app 3. So a Big Thank You for that!

Please consider Apple health integration natively.

Perfunctory at best

The easiest thing to say is it works, but just on the iPhone. Why is it not available on the iWatch or iPad. Why must I go to third party to extend usability????

Libre is easy to use

When switching from this app 3 to this app by Abbott, you must start with a new sensor. The this app by Abbott app cannot connect to your current sensor, and the new app won’t contain your daily data. However, your report data is populated and is also available in Libreview.

I find it “dangerous” that the “Start a new sensor” button that looks like an audio icon is next to the “+” button used to log food, exercise, and notes.

Future feature requests:
- Allow 2 connections to sensor
- 2 different alert profile
- delay 1st high alert (15 mins - 24 hours)
- Calibrate sensor to blood readings for better accuracy
- Apple watch integration
- Glucose Home screen widget
- Ability to zoom in on trend line

Solid upgrade

After using the this app 3 app, this is a very nice improvement. Libre is easy to use and the new design looks good.

Love the new features!

Enjoying using the new app especially the silencing feature for 3+

New Libre app

I like the new features and found the transition very simple. I use a Freestyle 2.

Best CGM App

Love the upgraded app, easy to use. It can be used with all the sensors on market. No longer need to download multiple apps per sensor type/ this app number.

Great App!

User Friendly…love the new design
