I was initially excited about Nepeto when it first launched as a free calculator app. It promised to be a game-changer for sellers, and I was eager to use its features. However, I’m incredibly disappointed to see that they have switched to a paid model after building so much hype around the app.
It feels like a classic bait-and-switch scenario. They drew users in with the allure of a free tool, only to later restrict access to essential features behind a paywall. The transition from free to paid feels disingenuous and has left me feeling frustrated and misled. What was once an exciting tool now seems like a cash grab. If they had been upfront about their intentions from the start, I might have approached it differently. But as it stands, I can’t recommend Nepeto anymore.

Just downloaded, when i try to scan things my camera on the app doesn’t adjust like how it would on the normal camera app. I have an iphone 15 pro so i know its not a problem with my camera. On top of that neither of their ai or upload a photo button actually scan the product. Terrible app do not recommend

I already pay $468 for an annual Nepeto account. Now I’m being asked to “upgrade” to use this app that seems to be the same as ASIN Zen, Scoutify, etc.? No thanks… lol
