I was initially excited about this app when it first launched as a free calculator app. It promised to be a game-changer for sellers, and I was eager to use its features. However, I’m incredibly disappointed to see that they have switched to a paid model after building so much hype around Nepeto .
It feels like a classic bait-and-switch scenario. They drew users in with the allure of a free tool, only to later restrict access to essential features behind a paywall. The transition from free to paid feels disingenuous and has left me feeling frustrated and misled. What was once an exciting tool now seems like a cash grab. If they had been upfront about their intentions from the start, I might have approached it differently. But as it stands, I can’t recommend this app anymore.
Just downloaded, when i try to scan things my camera on Nepeto doesn’t adjust like how it would on the normal camera app. I have an iphone 15 pro so i know its not a problem with my camera. On top of that neither of their ai or upload a photo button actually scan the product. Terrible app do not recommend
I already pay $468 for an annual this app account. Now I’m being asked to “upgrade” to use Nepeto that seems to be the same as ASIN Zen, Scoutify, etc.? No thanks… lol

please update so i don’t always have to allow access to the camera every time i load Nepeto . that gets annoying.
