It simply will not update regardless of if my devices are on or not. I have it set up and NeoCharge tells me that it refreshes, but even when my car is plugged in, it says that both outlets are inactive. I am looking at the green “on” light right now and there is nothing on my app.

Also, the splitter keeps overheating and shutting off well below its amperage limit.

Really bad app - does not connect to my charger at all. Tried restarting, changing WiFi and even deleting my account. Support doesn’t respond to messages. When it was working, the user interface leaves a lot to be desired (l couldn’t figure out how to remove connected accounts for example). Luckily the charger still works without NeoCharge

Despite saying it was connected during set up, logging out and back in to app, doing multiple resets per the instructions, completely removing and reinstalling the device, removing it from WiFi and reinstalling, etc the device will NOT connect to WiFi…. Purchased this device because of NeoCharge features and likely will return it for something half the price without an app.

The SmartSplitter hardware itself? Works great. NeoCharge, however, is extremely unreliable. Several times, NeoCharge can’t connect to my splitter, and the data it has available from the splitter is spotty - lots of charging sessions are missing from NeoCharge . It’s frustrating as I rely on the splitter for accurate power monitoring for utility costs, but NeoCharge needs much more work before I can trust it.

Doesn’t update the status live. App shows the last session for the Primary plug to dryer is 40mins ago but actually the dryer was still ON and going on.

Doesn’t indicate that dryer is going on and Secondary plug that is connected to Tesla is off/disconnected. It would be great if it displays a message that Dryer is running which is primary.

Also, it would be great to add a feature to turn on/off one of the plug from app. This will help save energy and reduce heat when away on vacation for several days.

In terms of hardware, it’s been pretty solid minus one bad firmware update. They were quick to push out a fix for that so not knocking that here. However, this thing loses connection way too easily and requires resetting it to fix it. Resetting it is a problem. The process is onerous for me. So I just give up on this. As far as the software, the latest update has a highly unresponsive UI, which I thought was me mis-tapping or NeoCharge crashing, but was just slow to respond. It continues to remind me constantly to enable rate tracking but since it still doesn’t support day/night rates, I can’t even use this feature. So it just gets annoying to dismiss when it pops back up. It even returns without leaving the Home Screen, just suddenly appears. If this had a way to integrate with home assistant I could simply make my own dashboard and avoid NeoCharge.

3rd app update in a row it has forgotten my splitter and therefore all my charge stats. Wants me to flip the breaker on/ofd 5 times again. App isn’t worth it. Thankfully the device itself works.

I like the splitter as it works great on two cars but NeoCharge is barely above Beta. Connecting to the splitter via Bluetooth to set up WiFi connection was very buggy. Took several resets. And then once you do connect it lost the WiFi connection after a few days. You then need to reset again and start over. Ridiculous. If it loses WiFi, you should be able to use NeoCharge to reconnect. I’m ready to give up on NeoCharge and just use the splitter at this point.

NeoCharge took about 3 minutes to realize that the car stopped charging. even when i tried to refresh the page the stats didn’t update.

Why spend thousands to get a level two charger at home when you can spend about $500 total (if you don’t already have a Tesla Mobile Connector or similar) and get this app. Seriously awesome product that I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to charge at home for a fraction of the price.

They just recently updated NeoCharge and that was a game changer for me. We split our outlet between car charging and dryer and NeoCharge allows us to do that seamlessly while also tracking usage and rates. Very highly recommend.

I’ve had the this app Smart Splitter for about 6 months now. This is NeoCharge that supports the splitter. NeoCharge has been great. Easy to setup, and great user interface. We needed some support a couple of times for minor issues. The support has been fantastic. Incredible response times. Very helpful and friendly. The developers are very interested in making this system the go to for EV owners. I’ve seen NeoCharge progress so much in the short time I’ve had it. I can track each EV charge consumption and cost separately, schedule charge times, prioritize cars, etc. all with one outlet. Highly recommend the system for EV owners, ESPECIALLY if you have two EVs in your household! Highly worth it. It’s a solid system.

Already an amazing app that finally allows me to understand the cost of driving EV and just gets even better with each update.

Extremely happy with NeoCharge, able to schedule my bmw for cheaper period easily. Plus now have a way to track my costs. Loving it so far

The this app app is a game-changer! I love how seamless and worry-free it makes managing my EV charging at home. I don’t even have to think about it unless I want to. The this app splitter works great as a splitter. NeoCharge can make that better. They are actively working on NeoCharge with updates a couple times per week.

I recently purchased a this app for my RAV4 plug-in. My electrical panel is located at the other end of our home BUT my dryer is right next to our garage. This solved all my problems and challenges. My electrician cut a small hole in my home, ran conduit down the side and voila, I can charge my car in less than 3 hours using my dryer’s 30 amp circuit. Everything should be this easy. I highly recommend the this app splitter solution!

We use this app to manage both our Tesla Model 3 and dryer on a single 240V/30A outlet. It’s been super convenient for us, allowing us to charge the car and run the dryer without constantly switching plugs. NeoCharge is a nice addition, offering useful data and tracking. We’d love to see a future update that allows us to switch one side off without unplugging, which would make it even better for our setup.

So easy to set up and get connected to my Audi and my Splitter! Monitors my EV and Dryer energy usage to make all my electricity usage more sustainable and cheaper !
