Unable to use Vox . When I launch Vox on my iPhone, all I get is a black screen with nothing to use. The only option is to quit Vox .

I was trying to register and I me getting an error message about needing to agree to the terms and conditions. I checked the box agreeing to them and still got the error message. If they can’t get a simple thing like knowing if a box is checked, I don’t have any confidence that they will be able to accurately transcribe anything.

Just downloaded to a new iPhone 16 Pro and can’t do the on-boarding process.

I tried using Apple, Google and email and they all fail.

Waste of time.

Will not allow Apple login or creating account with email. I rebooted app and rebooted phone and still doesn’t work.

Doesn’t work Vox keep spinning. completely useless and buggy. Removed.

However, after downloading, the lifetime option you provided is only 320 minutes for one month, which is not a true lifetime offer. If unlimited use is needed, further purchase is required.

IPad Pro. IOS 18.1.1 and iPhone 13 Pro. App is not working with either. On the iPad, it hangs at the initial login setup screen. Can’t even get to the paywall.
On the iPhone 13, got further into Vox , claimed the lifetime access, but was unable to obtain a transcript of a 12 minute YouTube video. I inputted the URL, it acknowledged the name of the video and then I got the swirly thing that ordinarily means it is working. Well, 12 hours later it was still swirling.
The most frustrating part of Vox is that it provides no means of checking yourself to see if the target video you want is what Vox is trying to get. The input window is barely long enough to catch more than the first part of the URL, and you can’t hover over that to see more.
Also, the link here for app assistance does not lead to anywhere that assistance might be provided.
So right now, Vox seems useless to me. I’ll be happy to change the rating if you can get it to work as expected. I really do not like to leave bad reviews after someone has worked so hard to create an app. I look forward to hearing from you.

Getting Vox only gets you the right to buy more minutes of transcription time after the small initial bucket granted, so be aware of that. If you hate subscription models, avoid this unless you are ready to pay every month.

Hi, I’m very perplexed. Why would a premium account have a limited number of minutes? I hope this is a bug or oversight. Vox seems to work nicely otherwise, but I’d expect a premium account to have an unlimited number of minutes and no other restrictions— whether it’s a lifetime account or paid per month subscription. Please think about this because that’s not really a lot of time to give anyone, let alone premium users who should have unlimited usage.

How do you edit( ie. name misspelling)?

I downloaded two days ago, along with 4 other transcription apps. Voxscribe has the best features out of all others! If you need a transcription app, look no further than Voxscribe!!
