How to fix Companion app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Companion app on iPhone
Update Companion app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Companion iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Companion on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Companion network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Companion Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Companion not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Companion App
1. On android, goto Settings » Companion » click [Force Stop]

Update Companion to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Companion App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Companion » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Companion.

Fix Companion unable to contact server/ Companion internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Companion » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Companion » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
