Poor instruction
I’ve been using the Check-in by Wix app on an iPad, and while it works well for manual check-ins and QR code scanning, it lacks Bluetooth barcode scanner support—which is a major limitation for my business.
Many check-in processes rely on external Bluetooth scanners for speed and efficiency, especially when handling high-volume events or customer entries. Right now, having to use the iPad’s camera for scanning is slow and not always reliable in different lighting conditions. Adding support for external Bluetooth scanners would make Checkin significantly more useful for businesses that require fast, hands-free check-ins.
Wix, please consider adding this feature in a future update! It would be a game-changer for event organizers and businesses managing access control. Until then, I’ll have to look for alternative solutions.
Checkin is great, and if it’s not working for you, it’s your devices problem. I have used this for a while and it never went wrong, so restart your device, reinstall Checkin , do whatever you need to do, to make it work because it’s an amazing app and works just fine for me. 🤘🏽
