Trimbox was a big waste of money. I had 13,000 emails and Trimbox only unsubscribed me from a small handful. Almost every time I tried to unsubscribe I got an error message saying it could not unsubscribe. It also only showed me a fraction of the amount of emails I actually have. I wish I would not have purchased this.

this app refuses to cancel my subscription after numerous attempts to cancel. I’ve been charged for months after being told my subscription is cancelled by their joke of a customer service department. Each time I contact this app they apologise and say they will have someone contact me and ask me for details on the charges and then no one ever contacts me again. I don’t know how to get them to stop charging me, help!

Not sure what’s going on. First, half of the subscriptions I tried to unsubscribe from had messages saying the company ignored my unsubscribe request. Then there were messages that emails were unable to be deleted. And now it looks as if it’s done loading and there are 100s of subscriptions that never populated in order to unsubscribe from them.

I downloaded Trimbox to help get a handle on my inbox and subscriptions. While it worked to remove my subscriptions, it also deleted every email in my inbox, sent, and saved folders.

The only remediation after contacting their customer supports was for me to manually move my deleted emails back to my inbox.

I do not recommend you use it

I had an advertisement for Trimbox on instagram. It seemed like a great idea in theory and an easy way to address unwanted emails and I had high hopes. Sadly it doesn't work though. Even after reaching out to support. Half of my subscription emails did not even qualify in Trimbox . Even on the emails it said it unsubscribed me to, they are still coming in. Disappointed and out $20. It sounds like from the other dissatisfied reviews they hassle customers and refuse to give refunds.

Trimbox I installed and cancelled immediately being it did not work. I went back to the Unroll Me app, for free, and it works so well. I have been trying to get my money back being I cancelled immediately and uninstalled it from my phone. They refused to refund the $42. I never agreed to an entire year as most apps give a free week to try it out. This is fraud and will reporting to BBB and contacting an attorney. It’s not about the money at this point. I have been denied twice in getting my money back. It is no longer installed, did not work at all in removing unwanted emails as the Unroll me app work. Do not install!!!! I will not give up on getting my money back.

Trimbox does not do what is advertised.
I have had a yahoo account for years and it is cluttered with spam so as soon as I saw Trimbox, I was really excited to try it out. I logged into my yahoo account and about 20 or 30 spam. Emails came up for my subscriptions. I clicked on subscribe on every single one of them and half would not allow me to unsubscribe, I also signed up for the premium unlimited membership and continue to get a notice saying that I’ve ran out of credits and I need to re-purchase in order to continue. I also added my Google Gmail account and this one pulled up about 100 subscriptions that I was able to successfully cancel according to Trimbox , however the following day I am still receiving all of the emails from the accounts that I unsubscribed from in both yahoo and Gmail. So even though it says it’s unsubscribing and deleting emails it’s not. I’ve tested this out by unsubscribing and waiting for them to delete and going back and checking in my email and they are still there. I feel like this is a huge scam. I reached out to the company and got a very vague response with no help, I’m not happy.

Trimbox works as it should but they purposely hide the fact that the only option is to be billed annually. It says “subscribe for $3.33/month. Cancel any time.” However, instead of charging you $3.33 for the month, it charges for all 12 months instantly. This is intentionally misleading. Sure, cancel after one month.. but they just tricked you into buying the year. User beware!!

I paid the $19 to clean out my emails, it didn’t work at all. The only thing that worked was the part of the transaction where they just took my money….. needless to say I just threw away $19.

It will only let you unsubscribe from 10 email groups before it wants to charge you waste of time.

I can’t seem to add my charter account., but this app is automatically deleting any emails I get? I can’t seem to pick and choose like Trimbox says. So now I get no email? Going to have to delete Trimbox.

It doesn’t work with yahoo mail and even though it is supposed to work with gmail it doesn’t let me link to any of my Gmail’s either. Waste of time and space on my phone

Be extremely careful using this. I had important messages and specifically did not select them, but an email address included in a thread caused all emails to be deleted forever. Customer support is no help for you in this event so use caution!!

If you have multiple email accounts like most people when I subscribed I thought that it said that it would work for multiple emails well it doesn’t. I also never got the email to control my account to unsubscribe.

Within the first minute of me purchasing Trimbox and starting to use it, I was asked THREE TIMES if I was enjoying Trimbox and wanted to rate it on Trimbox Store. I said not now twice. The third time, I said fine— here’s your one star. It’s ridiculous that something so simple can’t be moderated.

I found it to be a complete waste of money. It didn’t work half the time it would pop up error. for what you pay for it. It should’ve loaded a lot better. it would unsubscribe from my inbox on some things, but on other emails still in my inbox.

In the ad video i saw it showed an Icloud email being used for the video example, I download it says it doesn’t Support Icloud. How does that make sense?

Good concept, however does not support yahoo, outlook, or aol email. Only works with gmail…. Waste of time to download

Collected access to my info & in box & only AFTER I Deleted ( I hope) 24 emails & they asked me to subscribe for $3.30 /month ( $40/yr. ) would not remove any more without payment. This was NOT disclosed until AFTER I uploaded Trimbox & deleted the first 24 on my list.

Hope they & Trimbox STAY DELETED!

I initially thought this was great, I went through and unsubscribed to several hundred email lists and immediately noticed a cleaner inbox. The problem is, I’m not really unsubscribed from these emails they are all just being deleted and show up in my trash. 🤷🏻‍♂️

They only accept emails that are either emails or yahoo 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

If it supports Gmail it can support Yahoo!

Anyone who’s going to use this, please be aware that this company is literally telling that they will be collecting email content only for deleting purposes but then also say that they sell “unindentifyable” information “unless you contact and tell them not to sell”.

So, I recommend staying away from Trimbox at all costs, emails contain security/personal information that usually has your financials, locations, passwords etc.

I’ve sat and unsubscribed/deleted thousands of emails but I still see just as much unread and emails in my inbox still? Is this a scam?

Please unsubscribe me immediately.

Trimbox gives me only three choices but whatever choice I select the reply is that it doesn’t support any of the choices.

Tried it out and accidentally purchased the premium version. Well, i hit unsubscribe from most of the suggestions it gave me and i still get those emails. Their website claims they’ll “refund” you but after you email them you don’t get a response AT ALL. There goes $50 down the drain. DONT GET IT!

Being required to select each email group and wait for it to show unsubscribed when I can’t select multiple and do it all at once is annoying. I really enjoyed Trimbox at first but I have so many subscribed emails its taking forever. Wish there was a faster approach and for what I paid this should be an option. Long press > select > unsubscribe. It’s not difficult.

Only giving it 2 stars because it did help declutter emails.

There is no way to select multiple messages and remove all. You have to do each one at a time which takes hours.

The deceiving part is you have to pay a $40 /yr (or) $20 /mo subscription for each email address you have. This is just stupid because most people have multiple email addresses. I would never have signed up if it stated this in the beginning and now I’m going to have to fight this company for a refund.

With my main mailbox it works well. My issue is, I bought the unlimited subscription and unable to connect to my other email accounts. I have contacted support and got a response however it did not work due to purchasing through Trimbox Store. I attempted to contact two additional times and did not get a response.

After 14 unsubscribed with 100’s to go. They stopped and said pay me. It was too much. So I wasted time trying to save time. Good app too expensive for me personally

$40 for a year seems not too bad, but I’m not sure I would’ve done it if I’d known it was per email and if I didn’t happen to try it out with my gmail first. It has a bunch of other providers to choose from, but they all say “we don’t support this provider” when you click on it lol wut.
Just got it, so I can’t be sure the unsubscribe feature actually works yet but I’m hoping so 🤞

Please get it fixed so we can use outlook!

Need a swipe or button function to do it in batches . Its too slow to scan the email.

This is amazing I’ve been sick in the hospital a lot so my emails unread were like 165,000 emails. I’ve tried to delete them but never been able to get on top this is saving my account!! Only thing that gets me it’s a little confusing at the being to understand the KEEP button (understand the unsubscribe one because i do want them gone forever) but like do I need to click the continue forever button will that delete my emails as they come in before I’ve read them ? Haven’t found an answer yet? Other than that I am deleting messages by the 1000’s in 10mins it’s amazing!! ❤️

I downloaded this app and got straight to unsubscribing! Trimbox has saved me so much headache from all of the trash that fills my inbox on the daily. 10/10 recommend!!

I had over 45,000 emails 😬 It was a daunting task to go through them for me. Trimbox made it easy and simple to sort my junk email for me and help me delete and unsubscribe! Thank you!!!

Easiest way to clear inbox from years of stupid subscriptions

It’s a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. Easiest way to clean out inbox and unsubscribe from all the junk mail.

I used this for my Gmail which had 149k+ emails and now I’m under 8k within an hour.
One thing is that once your select the unsubscribe and delete, then you have to go to your Gmail trash and empty it. That’s all I had to do. For emails I wanted to stay subscribed to, I could stay subscribed but choose to delete all previous emails (there were thousands).

Clean slate.
