I NEVER review apps!

CreditUnionofGeorgia is useless! I am locked out because it doesn't recognize my password (that is aaved in 1Password)! Then you get a message that says contact us, but there’s no way to contact them through CreditUnionofGeorgia if you can’t LOGIN!!😠 What the world?!?!

Buggy rollout and cluttered screen

This latest version is an excellent example of when a decision is made to change something just for the sake of change. The previous version worked rather well and had a dark mode setting. The new screens are far too cluttered in the functionality of CreditUnionofGeorgia is not an improvement over the previous versions. The one huge flaw in the older version was the difficulty in taking pictures of checks for electronic deposit. Perhaps that issue has been addressed with this release.

Poor launch

I know the logistics of launching a “new” app are more complicated than most probably realize, but there really should’ve been an overlap period between completely cutting off the functionality of the old app and launching the new one given the fact neither is currently available going into the close of business on the day of launch.

App is trash

I understand all the scams and stuff, you’re tryna double down on security. Honestly though it seems like you all rushed into this not knowing what you’re doing, following the “trends” idk bro. The old app had no flaws whatsoever, i have tried to be patient with this stupid application but its very hard when things move a THOUSAND times slower than the old app. it seems as though you all didnt troubleshoot this before posting it as your new thing, like we are your guinea pigs testing this out. long story short, i honestly am thinking about changing banks…crazy how there was no issue before and i had nothing but good things to say about this bank. Also i need to ask whats up with the “current” and “available” man, how can i delegate properly if yall are holding back more money from my check……….😶 i understand you guys move money around in the bank and take and give blah blah bs… its just a faulty system, sorry to whoever designed CreditUnionofGeorgia but bro you must go back to the studio and reevaluate a lot of things.

Feels like a Highschoolers senior project but worse

It worked the first time I logged in, so I know it’s capable of working. But since the first time I can’t get back in. So I can’t transfer money to other people via zelle or my loan. And it looks like they paid an 18 y/o $200 buck to put this together over a weekend. How is it possible to downgrade so bad that people are actually going to withdraw their money and switch banks.. Incredibly disappointing.

Fix the app

I would rate 0 if I could because when I try to sign in it tells me that I have the wrong password and account name even though I put in the one that I have been using for the previous app this is the most useless app ever there’s a reason why people say “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” and “ don’t try to reinvent the wheel” because it’s just not something you should ever do so now I have absolutely ZERO access to my account

New app is utter rubbish

I loved the old app. It worked perfectly fine. Since the transaction to the new app, I haven’t been able to log in at all. When I enter my user name & password, it says information is incorrect. To make matters worse, when tapping the request to send my information via email, an email never arrives. (I checked my spam folder, too.) I suppose I will have to waste precious time driving to the credit union & hope someone can assist me with this fiasco. Thanks so much, CU of GA, for adding one more thing to my never ending list of tasks I need to accomplish.

One star

I have been unable to see how much I have in my account as the Credit Union of Georgia decided to change everyone’s passwords and not tell them. My entire family had to go the the bank itself to fix this which is extremely inconvenient. I am very very disappointed with CreditUnionofGeorgia, and I don’t understand why they got rid of the other one. If you want to bank with someone and actually be able to log into your account without them switching it and then not telling you, then do not bank with Credit Union of Georgia.

Jumping off a sinking ship

We’ve had money in this credit union in Woodstock since it was formed, as my mother was a Cherokee County employee and it was only a state/county employee credit union. I myself currently have 2 accounts since moving back to Georgia and I’ve also purchased 2 vehicles with them. CreditUnionofGeorgia alone will be the reason I am leaving this bank. I can’t stand useless change that rolls back a perfectly working app and causes chaos and confusion. My first issue was with CUoGA defaulting my checking to a cost based acct and now in that same year they roll out a new app that makes me dread keeping track of my money. This credit union is expanding a great deal and the suits are no longer looking after their customers. They are flat out looking at their profits and bonuses. I’m leaving before it gets worse, as it always does. Bye bye!

New app is horrible

New app won’t take our passwords and can’t reach anyone by phone to reset them, it says that line is unreachable at the moment one account that we did gain access to did not convert well only some of the labels to different accounts transferred so had to go in look at the transactions of each account and relabel the ones that didn’t come through. The new look is very distracting, we loved the account labels on the previous app with the bold red at the top of each account with the name in the red it was easy to pick which account we needed to work with. We live out of state and have no access to our money because we can’t gain access to our accounts and it’s not like we can walk into the bank to have them fix the problem. Tried to reset the password but it’s connected to an old phone number and won’t send an email to reset. Just a very disappointing update to their services.

Why Change If It’s Working?

The original app was absolutely fine. Never had an issue. With the new app, I am unable to log into my account. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

Does not work!!! Soooo frustrated with this. Why would you change something that was working just fine? Now I have to go down to the bank for a transaction. $&@!

Temporarily (hopefully) ceased all my cashflow.

CreditUnionofGeorgia has blocked my access to my money. I have no ability to view the current status of my accounts. Money that is inaccessible is worthless. Therefore, CreditUnionofGeorgia has robbed my money of any value.

This app does not work

I can’t login and can’t reset password. My current login and password works fine on the original app though. I don’t understand why they are pushing out this non-working app when the previous one works just fine.

Please go back to the old app

The layout of CreditUnionofGeorgia is so difficult, I had to go to the bank just to log in because it wouldn’t send me any emails. I had made a purchase and it took it out of my account but won’t show up in my transactions, there was nothing wrong with the old app please go back.

I’m not a fan

The interface is bad. It looks so bad. Not at all sleek or clearly ladies out. It’s really cluttered and hard to read. The page where you check, your transactions is really cluttered, it feels messy. It’s hard to read. It only shows you your postage transactions and not your pending transactions. In all, I am not a fan. Feels very elementary. I think it needs more work before it’s ready. I want to see pending transactions. I hate the white. There needs to be a dark screen option. In all, it’s just so cluttered and hard to follow. Bad interfacing. I really do not want to use it.

Please fix the app!!!

I am not able to log on at all, it either says “invalid pin” or “can’t display info”. Now I can’t log online to see my accounts because the old app is down due to this “upgrade”. The old one worked just fine!

The recent update has rendered CreditUnionofGeorgia useless. It will not work properly.

This layout looks awful and the other app was better please just go back to the old app and stop ruining my banking experience with this new update

The new design is horrible

I understand changes will happen. However, this new design and how everything is formatted on CreditUnionofGeorgia is horrible. You have to log in every time with a username and password when you open CreditUnionofGeorgia vs when you can just use a pin. Which made things easier and faster. Then the bank account as in the words and numbers are so large, the font. Feel as if I’m not the only one looking at my account and I have everyone looking at it as well. They should really go back to the drawing board with “new app”

Can’t even sign in, have username/password written down and told it’s wrong, try resetting password told my username and phone number are wrong, try to get username, no email received, don’t know why I have to change apps when the last one worked fine for me

Fixing something that’s not broken!

The old app was great! The new app is no good at all! Works very slow. Main screen is big and white and shows your money balances so everyone can see. Not a lot of privacy whej checking my phone. No home screen with a menu tab to left anymore. Honestly made CreditUnionofGeorgia harder to use not easier. Needs to black out mode so the screen is dark and not super bright. Need to be able to use a PIN number to login. Not sure why they spent the money on a new app when the old one was not broken and worked super well! Not a fan of this new app and i use my banking app about a dozen times a day. Super disappointed. Hopefully they fix these problems.

Terribly disappointed

I had next to no complaints about the old app - this new one is leagues worse in user interface design. Less features, less privacy—incredibly disappointing. I am looking into other credit unions to become my primary.

Profile views

I’m a signer on my wife’s account, and she’s a signer on mine, yet neither of us can easily toggle between profiles. We have to log out and log in with the others credentials. This basic functionality was available on the old app but not this one.

Solution

If you updated CreditUnionofGeorgia and experienced issues, delete and Download CreditUnionofGeorgia over to eliminate initial update issues. The problems were resolved using my steps.

Be sure to take down user I.D before deleting app. Then log back in.

West Cobb Branch under renovations

Although I am happy with all areas of service, I will be very happy when the West Cobb Brach reopens. I’m tired of being inconvenienced.

Better than the old one, does what I need it to.

Really my only gripe is it doesn’t appear to have an option for dark mode. The white background roasts my eyes. Otherwise I like the user interface and functionality much better than the old app.

Missing credit card

I would like to be able to see my credit card transactions and to pay my bill.
