I saw their ad on Instagram. Figured I would check it out. As others have stated, Marsaction2 is nothing like the game they advertised. Absolutely false advertising. Marsaction2 doesn’t even make sense. It literally spoonfeeds you what to match. Completely mindless game. Absolutely nothing like they portrayed on the Instagram ad.

The reviews nowadays are pretty much worthless. Anyone can just buy positive reviews. Look at the most critical reviews though. Those are usually the ones that are the honest ones. If you see a pattern with them, they’re most likely true, like with Marsaction2. I figured I would try regardless, but just look at the negative reviews on here. Those are the ones that are true.

If you see their ad on Instagram, report it on there as false advertising and tell them to look at the negative reviews here. dishonest companies like this need to be booted off Instagram.

We need to start hitting these mobile app companies where it hurts.

This “profit justifies the means” attitude in industry is foolish and short-sighted. It erodes trust in Marsaction2 industry, in business in general, and in all institutions on which we depend. It contributes to a society in which predatory practices are lauded. When allowed to persist, this attitude seeps into every facet of our lives.

Why is everyone so depressed all the time? Because we feel like we can’t trust anyone.

Take a stand. Boycott this and every company that uses these immoral practices. It’s just plain wrong.

I am the strongest player in my region for hero strength. My heroes are 300,000 battle power higher than the next player and I have the newest heroes. But the devs changed something in the coding last update that messed everything up. I have 4 of the same heroes and all stronger than others. Yet I am losing to people that are free to play in arenas. Hahahaaha. And when I message the devs their response is check your lineup. I am blown away that this is their response. Can’t get my money back but can surely stop spending.

I was having fun until they do the state vers state. Just like in SoS, it is a free for all. If you don’t put up a shield, you get zeroed out. I have better things to do than sit around through the entire event or spend money to stay protected through the entire event. Then I tried to delete my account. There was information that you should not need to delete an account. It should be an automatic thing!

This is a rant, feel free to ignore this review.
I’m tired of this micro transaction ideology all developers follow.
It’s absolutely ridiculous how many pop ups and notification you need to confirm on daily basis, you can’t enjoy the game when all you see are badges leading you to purchase packs, one of the daily tasks (the most rewarding too) is buying a pack!

Is this insane or is it just me?

I played this game for 30 days, and got to a decent level. I finally dropped out when I got tired of being harvested by the ‘prime minister’. My impression is that you can do real well in this game if you spend about $100 a day. I probably spent $160 total, which was not nearly enough. So I think the developers are raking in a lot of money. If you don’t want to spend $100 a day, be prepared to be decimated every few days, and spend all your time rebuilding.

This game is not great, yesterday it bugged out and many came back to being zeroed out.

After spending considerably time and money here it is impossible to grow as even alliances can’t control a rich bully. One person, the one who paid to win, is destroying the entire region and has made it impossible for dozens or maybe hundreds to continue so they have left in droves.

I messaged the developers and no one cared to even write back.

One of the ads looked interesting. Too bad the game is nothing at all like the ad, in any way.

It’s basically the same as all of the other State of Lords of War of Battle of Clans of Heroes games where you build your city by waiting around and then fight other cities together with your guild in exactly the same way.

This one disguises it a bit longer, but only by obfuscating the gameplay to the point where the early game is less well balanced than ancient forerunners like Evony, so you get repeatedly stuck on stupid things.

Also, the mini game, the one way these games are usually a little different from each other, is basically just a cut scene, not a game.

I suppose it might be worth playing if you’re looking for a game where the balance is so out of whack that learning to spend $100s/month more effectively than all the other whales might be a new challenge?

Can I find anything else nice to say about it? Well, at least this game’s ads don’t have the voiceover about “Don’t you hate fake games that are nothing like the ad?” while advertising a game that’s nothing like the ad, so they aren’t quite the most offensively misleading ads in iOS gaming. And they didn’t kill my pets or burn my house down. Presumably they haven’t found a way to monetize that yet.

This is just click click click and wait wait wait. Make this into a real time strategy game or something like that. Give control to your little squad and have them fight the bugs and build turrets and expand your base. The big worm popped out and I thought ofh maybe this will have a game aspect to this idle clicker… nope… play some real games and then make version 3 but as a game. For instance… You crash on a planet and have to walk around slowly building your base by collecting scraps. Great job with the art/animations (5 stars) but poor job on the “game” aspect of this (-4 stars). Maybe a bunch of people love this type of thing but I prefer using skill and having fun.

It starts out neat but then you discover it’s just another one of those games where other people can attack you whenever they want to. No thanks. I wish other people weren’t part of the equation unless it was cooperative that would’ve been cool.

This is nothing more than a candy crush with some fancy art. I feel that apple’s game ecosystem is filling up by these crappy games. I hope they could take it seriously, otherwise players will be all gone soon!

This game is not fair. They put you in a kingdom with players that are so much powerful then you. A new player can not ever get as powerful as ones that has been playing this game for months before you join. These other players just kill and steal everything from you and you can not even defend yourself. I was getting ready to put some money into this game and I’m glad I didn’t. Don’t waste your time. Once you get to level 12 or so you will be destroyed. Go find a game that is fair. A level 25 spaceship should not be able to attack a level 15. It’s like a grown up beating up a child. Where is the fairness in that. If the creators wanted to be fair. They could offer a daily shield to buy. But there shields are so expensive that you can’t even do that. If your reading this. Keep on going to a better fair game. Or play and waste your time to Level 12 and then be destroyed. What a waste of my time,

This game is is really not even a game. Its absolutely nothing like the add! It’s like watching a stupid movie that just tells you what to click. Totally pointless don’t waste your time I actually wish I had the 4 minutes of my life back that I wasted on this nonsense. Stop lying to people in your ads it’s pathetic!!

Don’t be fooled by the ads. You won’t be doing anything like what you see. Not only is this just another city builder but it takes FOREVER to get into actually playing the game. I stopped 30 minutes in when I was still being shown what to click on. Don't waste your time

I don’t get how these games get the high ratings they do. I have played for 30 minutes and haven’t gotten to play anything near what they show in the advertisements I mean not the level,the game is completely different. It’s just a do what they tell you to do tap game waste of time.
It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you just tap no skill required

Boring builder game. How do we stop these games from coming out. They promote ads which are not the freaking game. It’s like promoting a plane ride but having to take a train. This is completely out of hand. I would actually PAY for a game that looks like these ads. I don’t want to build a community. The Sims came out 30yrs ago. It’s been done. No one wants it. Do better and stop with the bait and switch.

Just don’t waste your time or money on this game. It’s just another city builder. Oh and get this! One of the characters has a retextured HALO assault rifle! 😂

It’s also blatantly obvious this game was made somewhere where English isn’t a common language, the translation and voice acting is laughable.

Ignore this game, move on, and play something else.

Despite the admittedly good graphics, and mediocrely interesting storyline, this is yet another entry in the casual strategy survival genre.

Please developers, build something unique for once instead using the exact same game engine that has been used in a thousand other games already.

I love this game but since creating my alliance me and my members are getting spam for not having or wanting discord to the point of being threatened with getting kicked! I will never recommend this game because of this! I do not play games to be harassed or threatened by the people running the game!!! Am about ready to delete it off my phone!

It's the same game different paint. I like the base building part. I don't want to fight other people. A game that is based around being attacked by aliens on Mars should not put humans against each other. If you want a pvp part join that. Other wise just let us do a pve. Anyway another game that could be fun, put is not going to last because of super pay to play players destroying everyone and making it less fun for everyone else.

Just spent some money this entire week for a region vs region event, then a few hours before the fighting began they canceled the event and gave 100 powerstone for everything we did as an apology. Wrote to devs, but no response. Otherwise the game was enjoyable until they randomly try to apologize with the littlest amount of effort.

So tired of games that are little more than bubble wrap. It tells you to tap a thing and you tap it. That's the game. No amount of fancy graphics, sound effects and animation makes this fun for me.

If you want to "build" a space colony exactly the way the "game" designers decided for you, enjoy. I'm glad it's free but I feel I should be compensated for the 30 minutes I spent waiting for any part of game play I could actually participate in.

Graphics are good though.

I played the game for about three months, I really started to lose interest when I realized it’s a pay to win game. Again playing by the rules takes months to achieve a status that starts to get interesting. Or, you can drop a couple hundred dollars and do it in a couple hours. Still never really figured out how some players were able to pull you from a shielded state and teleport you somewhere else. Must also be a package you can buy. And don’t jump in thinking that being in an alliance will help. Most of those are 5 or 6 friends looking out for themselves, and using you for rewards. Bright side, I have room for a different app.

Why is the game lagging and trying to load at every turn, need to fix this problem

As some have said, good production, few bugs. But, this is the same arc as most other games of the style out there and almost identical to one “ice” game. A few things I noticed - 1) ads overwhelm. You cannot go a login without being pushed to buy at least one power up. And the “Dan” hero ad is constant. 2) very easy to get to a certain level and then almost impossible to level up with out paid add ons because, 3) member attacks are EXTREMELY unbalanced. A single attack will wipe all game resources. I uninstalled the game after several weeks primarily because the ads made the game not fun anymore.

The game isn’t bad. One problem that I have been seeing is the frequency of SVS. This is a weekly event that doesn’t really give people enough time in between to advance and recover. Weekly is too frequent and it seems that the game has become too SVS heavy. Maybe once a month would be better.

The game is a lot of fun. I highly recommend it.
A few notes for the devs:
1. Allow to sign in without having to do the entire intro. Logging in on my iPad took too long.
2. In App Purchases are too expensive. Especially the equivalents of a monthly season pass. $19 is too much for this kind of game.
3. The tutorial needs some improvements once you get to around base level 10, it lacks explaining new mechanics. Took a bit to figure out.

No matter what you do, you won’t be able to make all the little red dots go away. The rally one is invincible. Some of them will come back repeatedly despite nothing changing, like the one for a coupon in your inventory. It is a real problem.

The screen shots didn’t match actual game play. I actually prefer this style of game play but you really should pay attention to your ads matching actual game play. Thanks

Spend real money on this game and when there’s a problem with the game you find out there’s no way to solve it or contact game developers to let them know what’s happened, no more for this guy I believe in game support but this game no more , I feel like I was hacked!!!!

Why do people question it only because “it doesn’t match the ads 1 star”

It would be great if they could give me more worker survivors to having the full amount needed for all buildings each time I play the game.

But straight off the bat, this game has noticeable production quality and I love it! Furthermore, the voice acting makes it more engaging compared to other similar games who just have captions and get boring pretty fast. Anyways, I love it!!

It’s been along time since I’ve bothered to write a review. That being said, this IS something else. The game has no noticeable lag even on Wi-Fi. The tasks and exercises start elementary, but then it comes down how fast and how much regarding resources. Pretty cool game. Think Sims on Mars!

Downloaded the game to kill time and stayed to play because it was a lot of fun

So this runs very similar to the Mad Max. However it seems to move much better and faster with alliances. The graphics are great and there is more to it and I am hooked.

Mars Action 2 is a great revisiting of the original game. The enhancements make the game easier to engage with and more enjoyable to play! Thanks!

Really fun game ! No ads and really high quality !

This uses up 25 hours in my day and there is only 24 hrs in a day.

Interesting game with similar concepts but unique additions over all the base building games.

It’s a little sad that you have to pay for extras
