What a ripoff. $150 just to collect my Information. Then they tell you you must pay an additional $45 if you don’t want it to take a long time. The renting process is already stressful as it is and applications like this make it even more frustrating. This application and the people who run it are predatory.
TenantEv is awful! It kicks you out and you lose all your work. It won’t let you complete TenantEv properly. It never allowed access to the pay wall then my application just sat there. THEN they want more money! These people are scam artists. Just read their defensive responses and causes to constructive criticism.
I wish I could leave zero stars given the frequency with which it crashed and failed to save the data I’d painstakingly tried to enter.
And onerous. It is like doing taxes. They say it takes 45 minutes. It takes HOURS.
it does stupid things like Income Verification when you already say one of the applicants is retired.
It says paystubs are not good because they have SSNs, but the application collects the SSN anyway. When the recent paystubs are submitted, it wants to do employment verification by sending an email.
SO MANY UNNECESSARY TIME CONSUMING STEPS! Just stupid

Despite paying a non-negotiable $300 fee, my application remained stagnant for ten days without any updates. One day prior to my scheduled move-in, I was notified of a vague issue regarding my driver’s license, yet no specific details were provided on how to rectify the error. I immediately re-uploaded the document, but the lack of feedback resulted in significant financial and logistical distress. I was forced to reside in a hotel and keep my belongings in a U-Haul for a week while awaiting a resolution. Ultimately, I was compelled to pay an additional $100 "expedite" fee to finalize a transaction that should have been processed within the original timeframe. The complete lack of transparency and communication led me to question the legitimacy of the entire operation, including the realtor and condo association. Furthermore, my interaction with customer support was deeply unprofessional and characterized by inconsistent communication standards. I strongly advise property associations to avoid risking their reputation by partnering with this platform. The service provided was unacceptable.
