I tried to pay thru app 3 times and my credit card was not accepted. This is the same credit card I have been using to pay my Washington Gas for the past 3 years ☹️☹️☹️

Also the Face ID is hit or miss when logging into MyWashingtonGas ☹️☹️☹️

Great app to access your account, however there is a bug where the red notification bubble does not clear. Been there every screen in MyWashingtonGas . It’s a visual bug and rather annoying. I will update my review once that issue is resolved.

I used MyWashingtonGas when released to pay bill and a month later I received a notice my payment was returned, but not only that they system decided to attempt multiple payments and returns so I was billed over $100

MyWashingtonGas has difficulty recognizing sign in credentials. So after awhile I give up. Then the payment is made but the balance is too slow to update. The payment according to my bank was received but 2 days later the balance is still not updated.

It won’t allow me to login to my account. It says it’s sending an email to reset my password advising to check my junk mail folder. Nothing has been received.
I was enrolled in automatic payments so I had been ignoring the texts about payment reminders etc assuming nothing had changed. I missed a months payment! When changes this drastic occur they should mail a paper copy to customers so they can be aware. With the inability to log into my account I’m going to go back to paper billing.

MyWashingtonGas needs to fix the payment option of scheduling a payment for a future date! I was paying all my bills last month including Washington Gas which was not due for several weeks out. The confirmatiom of payment email sent to me had stated it had posted my payment immediately ! It took me quite some time dealing with a rep who clearly did not understand it was an error in App and insisted that I call my bank to stop payment! Since most banks charge a a a fee for this “service “ I finally gave up, hung up and called back! I got a Rep who took the time to call the IT department and was advised that several customers had called t in about this problem and they were working to fix it but it but it may take several months to resolve the problem. He voided my payment transaction to resolve! my issue and advised me to avoid the this option for the next several months. In fact he did every thihg the first Rep refused to do!

Tried to put in my banks routing number. Their system does not allow you to put in the full routing number. They cut it off by one digit.

Filling out information to start service does not work. Fix the website first (has a lot of bugs), then try to build MyWashingtonGas .

Face log-in doesn’t work even though it says it recognizes me. When I log in with my password, it brings up a page saying multifactor authentication but doesn’t send me a number or give me any choices on how to do it, so there is no way to continue

MyWashingtonGas doesn’t allow for logging into my account. It’s just a giant error screen, and it’s been this way for months, even after uninstalling/reinstalling, and even after getting a new phone. It’s utterly useless.

Can’t login at all. When I open MyWashingtonGas the Face ID function kicks in, but it doesn’t log me in until I enter the password. Then I’m taken to a screen that says multi factor identification with a pop up message window with an OK button, but there is no content in the box other than the word message. So I press the OK button, which takes me to a completely blank screen other than the fact that it still says two factor authentication at the top, but there’s no other text in the window again and when I click next, it says failed to login. “ error, your login attempt was unsuccessful, please try again later”.

MyWashingtonGas used to work just fine. For the past few months it keeps coming up with a multi-factor authentication message that I can’t see or read and it won’t allow me to move on.

Says “invalid username or password” but I know it’s correct because I can log into my account via the website.

Please fix. Otherwise useless app.

Downloaded the updated app that launched July 2023. It just spins and spins. Deleted immediately. I’ll stick with the online portal.

Unable to pay bill on due date using MyWashingtonGas

I spoke to a guy on phone while downloading APP! MyWashingtonGas was stuck on Stupid as they used to say. I first tried to pay through WEBSITE on iPad as I did before. They sent Email claiming turned down because of FRAUD!!! I will try Later!!!!

Unable to log in with Face ID

I believe the Face ID technology is to ensure secure logins without typing in credentials.
The feature exists in MyWashingtonGas but after face scan, you get directed to enter your password.
The whole purpose of the security feature is useless at this point in MyWashingtonGas .

The only reason I have MyWashingtonGas is because the website is absolutely terrible and doesn’t work.

Now, I can’t log in to my account on MyWashingtonGas even though I have all the correct credentials. Some glitch is obviously happening and it’s so frustrating!!

I forgot my password and had to pay as a guest —- why can’t it be set up that my bank acct is in place and all I nd to do is click confirm???

MyWashingtonGas works well for me, no issues logging in or viewing data. Apple Pay as a payment option would be great addition for ease of use.

It works fine, but I’ve found a couple of issues. 1. Biometric login doesn’t work. MyWashingtonGas stays at the initial screen requesting a password. 2. It would be very helping there was a way to export the PDF bill 3. A shareable payment confirmation screen would be very nice. This for those that use to keep detailed records of every household and utility expenses.

I raised my rating from 3 to 4 stars. FaceID does now work, but if I get logged out, I still must restart app for FaceID to let me back in. Simply pressing FaceID does not work for me.
