If you’re reading this, let me be your cautionary tale. Don’t give these people your money! The adds aren’t the problem, they’re only there for five or less seconds and then you can close them and be on your way. The problem, from my experience, is that I have yet to find a single title that doesn’t contain multiple, MULTIPLE, missing pages! Oh, true, they provide a cute filler page featuring a crying chibi character, but for my money, that doesn’t make up for the blank spaces in the storyline. I’ve tried adjusting my settings and choosing different providers as my primary, all to no effect. Again, do not waste your money on MangaBird. The blank pages that you WILL encounter are not a pay wall. They won’t be replaced upon purchase of the "full version" of MangaBird .

If I could pay two dollars to get rid of ads, I would. Every single little thing brings up an ad. Any notification, even if it’s just a banner, changing the brightness, using Siri, using either the pull up or drop down menu, accidentally going back a chapter and going back to the new one every little tiny thing brings up an ad with no respite. And despite the “tip” they give you, this doesn’t work for the timed ads or even some of the regular ads. Not to mention the close button glitches out OFTEN, forcing you to close the entire app just to get rid of the ad.
I’M SO SICK OF THE ADS ALL THE TIME!!! If it weren’t for their ad craziness with no escape this would be a really good manga reader. I use this and crunchyroll, exclusively, and this even has a leg up on CR because it, at least, gives you a button that lets you read from the page you left off on whereas CR makes you scroll through the hundreds of chapters to find where you left off which is incredibly stupid imo.

MangaBird is amazing, it’s the first app that I’ve used that ever actually had the manga that I wanted and also allowed me to read it offline without any download limits. However, my only issue is the search function in MangaBird . It doesn’t work... I’ve tried searching for a bunch on manga but it only comes up with zero results. At first I thought that the manga wasn’t on the server that I was using so I tried searching for one that was literally right in front of me. And lo and behold I still didn’t find any hits even though the manga is listed in the library. I really like MangaBird but the fact that I can’t search for manga is a really negative thing. I even tried to type in the Japanese names or all the other versions of the name listed and nothing. If this is a problem on my end I’d like to know but I really don’t think it is.

I have used MangaBird as long as I can remember... but since having over 100+ in my favorites it seems to bug out and not correctly read updates on manga if there is an update.
Loved the UI, loved everything about MangaBird since I’m able to switch sources. Which is a huge plus for me. But seeing that it bugs out at over 100+ favorites is really sad. :( if this gets fixed it will def be 5/5 but with the newer updates sometimes reading the chapter and closing MangaBird causes MangaBird not to recognize the chapter read and reverts back to before you started reading. leaving you confused to where you stopped.
All in all I would love to continue to use MangaBird since I have been using it since 2014. But if the bugs aren’t fixed I might have to find a new app.

I personally love MangaBird. The UI is great, the reading is great, and the ads aren’t too much of a problem. One slight issue however. A lot of the manga I’ve favorited don’t seem to be updating. At first I just though it was because a new chapter hadn’t come out yet, but as time went on I saw that new chapters have come out in almost every other site I’ve checked. I’m not sure if this entirely the developers’ fault, or the sources for MangaBird , but it’s frankly, very annoying. Also, another thing is that when searching for manga I come across manga I would like to read but when I tap on it it says that the manga has copyright and isn’t allowed or something of the sort. Although this is understandable, it’s a bit annoying to see a manga you would like to read only for it to not be allowed. Although I’m not sure if that’s not the case for the premium version so oh well. Other than those two main issues, love MangaBird !

I love MangaBird! As long as you have room on your phone (or other device) you can download entire manga for free. You can also organize your manga list to exactly how you want it to be! Of course the best part is that MangaBird is free!!! I’ve checked out several other manga apps and none of them are even HALF as good as manga bird!
I would have made it 5 ⭐️s... BUT in the last update they took away the handy different color frame around the completed manga and the ongoing manga. Now you have to click on the manga itself to see if it’s completed. If you read as many manga as I do, you will find it very annoying to have to click through the hundreds of manga in your list to find the completed ones. It will be awesome when this is fixed!
If I could choose any other added option for MangaBird, it would be a folder option to help personalize and organize our manga list. (I have to say that would make it A LOT easier for me to find and look through all my manga.) I understand if you guys can’t add that option (though that would disappoint me...) MangaBird will stay my favorite manga app either way!
One more thing... The developers (and other workers of MangaBird) have done, and are still doing, an awesome job! Thank you for your hard work and for the wonderful job you do!

It’s a great app. Unfortunately, one issue is a lot of my favorites disappeared randomly and I can’t get them back unless I manually search for them. Problem, I don’t remember all that disappeared. My other issue is MangaBird is on my iPad and when I do a backup on it, my iPhone doesn’t recognize that there is a backup so I can’t get all my favorites back unless I manually redo it. I have brought this up to the people on their Facebook page and they did try very hard to help. I would give it 5, but for now until theses issues can be fixed, I give it a 4. I still recommend this to individuals for manga reading though.

They have everything, even Doujinshi, Highly Recommended, but, two issues, a bug and a feature. When I read horizontally for two long, it doesn’t let me flip to vertical, then glitches the screen, showing half That right page and the rest in a weird cut off thing. And please get rid of the feature that’s makes it so by scrolling down on the last page, it auto turns to the next chapter, it drives me nuts.

I love reading manga so I download a lot. My downloads is full of manga and I delete the chapters I downloaded once I finish reading but I don't like to remove the manga from downlads. Ok so getting to the main point my downloads is filled with manga so I have to take too much time to scroll all the way down to the most recent manga I downloaded. I recommend that a button should be put to go to the most recent downloaded manga or simply just put the most recent manga on top. Please take this into consideration. Thank you. P.S I cant find Nisekoi?? Something must be wrong I encourage you to check it out and urge you to fix it. Again thank you

You see, on my spare time, I usually like reading mangas. Personally, it's hard for me to find REALLY good apps and online resources for pathway of good mangas. Don't think I'm weird or anything but I really enjoy BL or YAOI mangas, and it's hard to find enjoyable ones to my taste ;( but manga bird is just AWESOME!! It has anything anywhere!! i mean, who could find any good yaoi / BL mangas now a days? its hard ! and some times you have to buy them with coins or some other wayy, an NOBODY HAS TIME FOR THAT !! so finding manga bird it had over 100 + yaoi and bl mangas, and even more ! i suggest that you should get it ❤️

Ive downloaded so many manga apps that they take up two pages in my phone. I tried all of them. Most of them were terrible, some were good, but in the end this one was the best. It has the important features that I want, although I'd love some more extra features :) Such as folders or dividers for my favorites tab, or a way to customize the colors. Anyway, I've been using this for years now and I haven't found another manga app that's tempted me to switch. Thank you!

I’m really liking MangaBird so far, it is a bit... interesting as far as getting to understand the layout and how it works, but once you get a handle on the design, its very quick and convenient.
As it is, I am a bit lost on how to keep the ui up while reading on mobile. Otherwise I sort’ve get trapped in the manga and cant do anything but scroll through the chapters or close MangaBird to start again. Is there a setting to fix this?

I honestly love MangaBird. But, it has a slight issue. See, I’m one of those people who read and watch yaoi. But, everytime I click on the YAOI tag, I get these three - six gray rectangular boxes. I can still click on them and everything, but some I cannot read. Trust me - I’ve tried reloading it over and over again but all it says is there’s no more data. It’s annoying. This also happens when I tried romance and mature.

9.5/10 it could use a better source menu, excellent otherwise!
This reader is fantastic! It has a clean navigable UI and it is easy to learn. Downloading manga actually works properly, it has good quality downloads on shoddy networks or on mobile Data (unlike Zingbox). Additionally, it actually has an option to select a range of chapters to download so you don't need to manually select a million chapters.

I love MangaBird so so much, it’s one of the best apps to read your mangas from. I read manga from this app everyday and I’m so happy that I don’t have to worry about paying to read. It’s one of the very few apps that actually lets you enjoy what you read. It also very easy to coordinate through MangaBird . I 100% recommended it to everyone, I’ve been using it for a long time and it’s a great app!!!
This app is the best manga reading app I downloaded with the best features and easy to use. It also allows you to download manga without issues but, some of the manga pages are missing or cannot be accessed. And another problem is that I can't even find some mangas like One Punch Man, Solo Levelling, or One Piece. This famous anime/manga can't be found even if you put the author's name. And please I beg you to please add more manga sources not only mangakalot, but please add another source like mangaclash or mangafreak please if you can. This way, many users can read more manga in this app. I recommended this app to my friends and the problem is the same as mine. Thank you for understandting.
I’ve been using the app regularly since Manga Rock shut down. I’ve recently been unable to use the search feature at all the last few weeks. I can open and type in the search bar and it brings up suggestions, but it says there are no results for anything.
