Terrible app, terrible company, terrible LED strips

nothing works the remote doesn’t work DayBetter doesn’t work. The lights have power if you hover over the sensor you can tell they have power but just don’t work. Smh

I get a blank screen when I try to add a device

Sometimes the lights just don’t connect to DayBetter . Also, no matter how many times you reset the timer for the lights to turn on and off, it doesn’t work. I have 2 sets because the first set the company sent me was defective, so they’re on 2 different outlets. I tried to use both the “Device Group” and “Same Model” option to control the lights at the same time, and once again the timers don’t work and the lights never sync up. What was the point of implementing any of these extra features if they don’t function whatsoever?

Now I’m concerned that I can’t get the lights to work.

I don’t know what worse DayBetter or the lights

the remote is alright the colors don’t really match the led lights properly. But the most horrible part is DayBetter . DayBetter is HORRIBLE it won’t even let me add a device, like i was trying to connect it to my google home it won’t even let me ADD it. It made me SO MADDD. Anyway we got the LEDS hung up in my room the next night it came off. parts of it was hanging off. Such cheap material. If it comes off again i am gonna throw that away. Waste of money. DO NOT BUY THESE CRAPPY lights!

My remote doesn’t work and DayBetter is working either. At first I thought I had a damaged remote so I returned it for another one and I’m having the same issue

DayBetter worked once and never connected again. Screenshots don’t match app capability. Granted these are cheap lights, don’t lose your remote!

Tech support is on-existent. Would like to review lights, but can’t get them to turn on.

Remote works, but the Bluetooth app will not connect to the light strip.

I have my leds set up and they work but I can’t Connect my email to make an acount on the day better app and when I put my email on and it says “mail sending failed try again” and every time I try again it says it again

1. my lights came with a short in them and wouldn't even turn on
2. I tried to make an account on DayBetter and it wouldn't even let me, kept saying "mail sending failed, please try again." tried multiple times and it didnt work

I couldn’t connect my lights at all the packaging didn’t even come with a remote the lights are on but i can’t even turn the off or change the color because DayBetter doesn’t work, and when i tried to contact the help assistance it didn’t respond so now i have lights that are stuck in and don’t change color!

My LED light remote want working so I thought to just download DayBetter and try from there. It did not work at all. I spent HOURS trying to get these LED lights to work but they never did. Also DayBetter keeps saying” The data acquisition is abnormal, please check the network, or check whether DayBetter network permission is allowed”. Like what the heck.(sorry I don’t know why the text is small now :/) like I said nothing worked. If you are thinking about buying these LED lights: DO NOT BUY THEM. If you already have: RETURN THEM.

It didn't work, I connected everything, DayBetter , permissions, and the adapter. I did everything but still nothing.

App doesn’t work. When you go on, it has no options to sign up, it just tells you to login to an already existing account. Makes no sense.

They just give you a remote that doesn’t work and when you get the apps the lights don’t even work waste of money

I've tried using both remote and phone. Nothing. I unplugged it, and plugged it back in. Nothing. I read the manual and did everything on it. Nothing.

i wish i could rate this a ZERO, but i cant. my LEDS wont turn on and the remote doesn’t work at all when i open DayBetter it says “abnormal bluetooth” my bluetooth is on. fix ur leds and all that

I've had these lights for 4 months and after 2 weeks they fell off my wall this I like the worst brand to choose for lED lights I can see why people hate DayBetter so much and the remote doesn't work.

I bought over 50 this app brand smart bulbs. Added them all to the this app app.

There isn’t enough features connected to google home and I am trying to reduce the smart apps on my phone.

However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to reset these bulbs in order to move them to Life Smart or Tuya. I still have a couple brand new bulbs in a drawer and they instantly and easily connect to other apps, but if they have ever been connected to DayBetter, they can never again be changed!

Also, there is no Home Assistant integration

You can tell some third world sand monkey designed this garbage with the terrible grammar in the instructions

I wanted to link my new this app lights to Alexa. Alexa said they had to be set up in the this app app first so I download the this app app. Now the day better app wants me to register, but doesn’t have anyplace TO register on DayBetter (GENIUS CODING, GUYS), so I went to the website. I registered there. And of COURSE that data does not translate to DayBetter . Complete garbage, useless waste of money, throwing these lights away. Do not buy from this company.

Wish I could use DayBetter to control the light strip but the interface is all Chinese, not English like the description says. I thought maybe just the screenshots were Chinese but there is no way to tell how to change to English if it exists within DayBetter . I hope the developer will make an English version.

So first, it doesn’t even work after 1 HOUR OF TRYING! And the grammar looks like some 1st grader wrote it. Make DayBetter better. Smh

It will randomly just stop working out of nowhere

The lights were great till after like 4h then I tried to turn them off but they just flowed a dark green

When i press add device or add new device, it doesn’t show any options to choose, ive tried to turn on my bluetooth a couple timed and nothing popped up. Low quality app in general, I would like an tutorial, or excuse to why I cant use DayBetter.

This product is awful… the lights barely work they don’t connect to any app u less you pay money the manufacturers website is only to purchase and DayBetter is junk… save your money

I have Bluetooth on and it won’t connect

The lights are perfect and all but DayBetter didn’t connect to my lights.

This is a cool app but other apps let you have more color selection like warm white and when you make custom DIY Scenes you can’t select white lights only colors that are already selected. These features would make the product a lot better.

App was working fine at first and now it won’t let me login. Keeps saying “no data obtained check for the network issues”

DayBetter used to be good until randomly it stopped working and now the led lights no longer work. Also, the lights came with a remote that does not work so now i’m forced to get new lights.

DayBetter don't work it keeps say abnormal Bluetooth but my blue tooth is fine its DayBetter Y'all should really fix it

Bro you can’t even change the Color on different parts of the strip and thats what it says in the picture you can do but you can’t

I have no idea how to connect the lights to my phone , i press the plus and it says “select one device and add” and then a blank screen. Completely confused . At least i have a remote.

For the first few days DayBetter had no problem connecting to my app. However now it doesn’t connect to DayBetter even when I’m standing right next to the light.

You literally can not make an account, ive tried everything I can think of. Can the developer please tell me what I’m missing? (I’m in IPhone)

Have had no issue connecting the lights to DayBetter . That’s one of the only pluses here. DayBetter is confusing and doesn’t seem to let you do much customization (especially slowing down effects). Most of the programs are clownish. There are a couple decent ones and it’s a good compliment to the physical remote but, all in all, DayBetter is a disappointment.

NO ALEXA SUPPORT. App says it’s connected to Alexa but no device showing up there so no way to control via Alexa.

The lights it self look great, but DayBetter is not great. You can only set up one routine and the Alexa app integration requires yet another app to set up, that also does not work. The light stick to the wall perfectly, (two days in).

Not any problems but the advertising photos are showing completely different things than i am getting from DayBetter . I tried to do what was in the first screenshot and it wasnt an option.

so i use it for my led lights. it worked amazing until today it randomly stoped working. i loved it and i used it all the time to control my led lights. it started when i was trying to turn them off. it was not working on DayBetter . i was like what the heck. i just ended up using the remote to turn it off and now i can't use DayBetter again for anything. it's making me so frustrated. and i even deleted DayBetter and redownloaded it and now I can't find the device and i'm so frustrated so please fix it.

Hi just got one of your lights for Christmas and having trouble connecting them on DayBetter . Seems like every time I try to register for an account it says error…

They do not stick to walls

I would love to use my phone because I’d lose the remote. I downloaded DayBetter and it asked for a login and password and I had none of those

DayBetter is a 50/50 for me. At first I was very angry because there was no way for me to create an account but then after a few days it began to work. I like the options to change the colors and will find it useful when I loose my remote. I just don’t admire how there is very limited features and the things that was promised, but never received. Either way, DayBetter is a good option for if you want more color choices but not good if you get frustrated easily. But for me this is a good app. Hope you find this review helpful!

Nice app works perfectly but could you add a dark mode and a way to save presets other then that it’s a good app

DayBetter is great im really not sure why it a rating any lower than 3. I didnt do any of the setting up, my dad did so idk how it was but i assume it was easy and simple bc he got it all done it under 15 minutes and my room isnt even that small. I only have one complaint theres an alarm setting and theres not a 12 o’clock, now if you decide to switch to the 24 hour clock you run into the same problem other than the fact that theres 12AM and not a PM please fix this. other than that easily a 4.3 out of 5

can’t connect music??

The LED LIGHTS work fine but the remote doesn’t work at all but 1 problem is that when I delete the led lights on my phone it would say “Smart Light 5” and other numbers when I only have 2 of them

when I setup my LED lights in my room in the instruction manual it told me to download DayBetter so I did. I mean it works I guess but it's not exactly accurate when you want a specific color. It doesn't do the exact color and it makes it something lighter or darker than the color you actually chose. but overall it works pretty well. I mean at least it has more color options than the remote it comes with so that's a pro

I was a little concerned while downloading DayBetter due to the 2 star rating overall and all of the 1 star reviews, but it does everything I want it to do, so hopefully I can give it a little boost with these 4 stars.

I seen all these people saying it doesn’t work and what not, but I personally think the LED lights are pretty good, the only thing I don’t like is DayBetter . On the display to get DayBetter it shows all of these different modes that I’ve never seen before on DayBetter when I got it, there’s no way to make my own color with the RGB scale, and with the DIY area, it doesn’t let me pick my own colors I want to put in it, instead it just puts random colors that i don’t want.

I had issues when I originally downloaded DayBetter but everything has since been fixed I was able to set up my lights with no issues

I have recently got these and they were super easy to set up and I enjoy them a lot

Always new stuff every day. You can tell that whoever made this brand and app is putting their heart and soul into it.

DayBetter is incredibly useful. One time, I left the house and forgot to turn the lights off, but then I just grabbed my phone and, thankfully, DayBetter helped me to shut them off. Thank you so much!

DayBetter really works, no paying, and it doesn’t take long to create a account, DayBetter is the true deal.. I never thought this would work, it change’s the color fast, and completely Brightens up my room by each day… completely mind blowing❤️

They are simply amazing for my room!

This is the most convenient APP control strip I have ever used, and it supports this app products very well. The new APP supports many languages. It's very convenient for me. I hope they can develop better

I actually was surprised to find out how easy it was to setup my acc and get going. Usually don’t leave reviews but this is to even out the score a bit because some of these amoebas could not figure out how to log in. Had no issues and my lights are working all good.

I love DayBetter so much- it’s kind of weird that you have to make an account, but never the less, it’s beautiful. It’s really quick and easy to connect and type in your email and password. Why is everyone complaining as to why it is so hard? I’m genuinely curious because my experience has been very enjoyable so far. DayBetter is so much better than just the controller!

When I first downloaded DayBetter it would not let me creat an account however that was 2 days ago and it finally worked. Used it and it is sooo cool!! Makes my lights look so much cooler and now I can literally have ANY color I want!! 10/10 recommend!

Idk why everybody is saying that it doesn't work. I made an accoun, clicked my lights and then i was able to change colors. Works great.

To me i saw that it’s pretty good i like it so much. And it has even more different colors and brightnesses oh ur phone and if ur not in ur room like in the kitchen and if want to turn it off boom right there on ur phone i saw its great!!

Ive seen a lot of other reviews about this product not working. For me i tried it and it worked perfectly. DayBetter was great it has a lot of options. The controller worked great too. The lights also look perfect. the only down side was that DayBetter was a tiny bit confusing but 5 stars for me

i like DayBetter, it connects fast, theres timers for sleep, and modes and options when you cant decide on a color. However i dont know if it is my leds or DayBetter but i wish there were more options for gradients or just smoother and slower moving gradients between certain colors, for example i prefer blues, magentas and purples, so i wish there was a gradient option for that, and for the slow moving i prefer when its so subtle that you have to watch for like 30 seconds to tell that its changing colors, thats all other than that it’s perfect.

Was really easy to connect. Fun to play around with. Lots of different colors and themes.

I didn't know there was an app until I actually looked at the instructions. I was slightly upset that the remote didn’t have many options and was a bit confusing but i didn’t really care. The LEDs in general are good quality and bright, i stuck them to the top of my wood canopy bed and they stuck perfectly. DayBetter is awesome too, different light moods, color wheel and even voice sensitivity (through the device’s microphone and only when enabled) I downloaded DayBetter on an iPad. Seeing the other reviews and them saying they were having glitch problems i was afraid DayBetter wouldn’t work. You have to have an email and confirm it to actually use DayBetter . Overall this is a great LED and app set.

Lots of people had issues but as of this moment I was easily able to turn it on and get it to work. If something changes I will revise this review.

Everything about this is amazing I have know clue how my LED would look without DayBetter and great brightness I love it

My girlfriend and I just ordered these and were a little concerned with the ratings and reviews but they were easy to install and so easy to use. We have no electrical experience so we didn't want to wire anything but everything here plugged right in. It's like a sticker on the back and worked great after we cleaned the walls (dust made it not stick on one of the corners but we cleaned everything and fixed it). It looks like DayBetter had bugs before but we both just downloaded it and added the lights so now we can control it wherever and it is so cool. You can use your phone and microphone on it too and it's pretty cool. We will be ordering more
