I rating this app and the PlaytestCloud platform. I’ve done several playtest for this company and on my iPad Pro it’s always an issue with connecting the microphone with the playtest. I use to always have no issue with the microphone on my Samsung S20 but for some reason after I made a effort to complete the last few playtest with recording my voice and playing….they said that my microphone was low or they couldn’t hear me. Therefore, I wasn’t wasting anymore of my time and energy to play a game for 30 minutes to an hour only for them to come back and say we can’t pay you because we didn’t hear you. I’m under the impression that they said that with the last two playtest I did for them on order for them to make an excuse not to pay me. So, to the developers of this app and playtest, you wasted my time which I could’ve been doing something else for someone else that would’ve actually paid me for my time. If I could give 0 stars I would! Your company don’t deserve to test games because you really don’t want to pay your users.

I have been paid out in the past and have done multiple test with success but your most recent update destroyed the apps usability. I did a play test that went smoothly, I did the mic test, then I went to check if I can do the survey and the app just refuses to load. I got to the survey through my email and finished it. The next day the play test is denied for the first time saying “my mic cut out” which is weird. I don’t understand why can’t we preview the sound before sending it in I would play for a longer period in order to make sure it works. Whats more frustrating is now I can’t even open the app to look at new play tests, it stays on a loading screen. I got an email to do a play test today and I still can’t get the app to open. No matter what WiFi I’m on it’s not working.

Not sure if it’s just that popular or if there are any actual playtest. I signed up for about a month now, everything went well in terms of their “first” play test, had no issues with microphone as others described, but I’ve checked my email and nothing. I was told that based of my initial play test I would be on their list and be sent emails on other play tests and received notice of one, POSSIBLE, play test and asked to update my preferences, after which I received no notice on whether I was selected, or not, and have not received anything else from them. Sign up if you feel like it, but don’t expect to be flooded with play test like the images on here show you will mostly see a message that says “We’ll let you know by email as soon as we have a playtest for you.”
