Since the update I've not been able to do anything with FineScaleModeler . Removing and reinstalling does not work, restoring purchases does not work, login does not work. I can get as far as the loading screen (the P51 model) and watch a little spinning thing spin. I have been going back and forth with the publisher who has gone back and forth with the developer who claims nothing is broken. This will be my last subscription with Kalmbach.

Will not recognize that I’m subscribed till November 2018. Wants me to buy the issues individually. Impossible to get help from Kalmbach and Apple help is a maze that I haven’t figured out. So they got my $39 and I have nothing in return.

Oh and this very funny and I bet the idiots in IT are still laughing about this one but if you try to go APP Support you get the 404 Page not found message. Very funny Apple IT.

Again nothing works and I can’t access any of my past issues. They want me to log in with my email or user name. They will not recognize any of my email addresses as being valid. Still no help. Kalmbach still blames Apple and Apple has no support. Everyone just takes your money and then gives you the finger

I continually have to delete and reload to see my subscription. What is wrong with this a-p it gets stuck on the spinning wheel. I’m considering canceling this and my print subscription. I’ve been a subscriber to the print for decades and the online since it was available but this is getting ridiculous I t’s been going on for a long time. Please fix or refund.

I have over 3 years of issues that I have paid for. After the update not only can’t I access those issues but any request for help goes unanswered. They just keep trying to sell you more subscriptions. So I lost my money to apple and fine scale modeler. No matter how you slice it this is bad business and just dishonest.

FineScaleModeler is garbage and does not work. They took my money, can’t get it back through apple or any of the other hoops! I’ve been an on again off again subscriber but I’m done with FSM for good now - too many better options for good info that are far less of a headache.

Good thing FineScaleModeler is free! - I cannot even view the issues I have purchased . It’s not supported as well as you might think. But I had to give it one star in order to be able to tell you this.

FineScaleModeler doesn’t work at all. Step one is to log in, and it fails every time. I can’t see any of the digital issues that I’ve paid for.

App refuses to recognize my password. I paid for both print and digital copies but I’m utterly unable to use the digital version. Email to customer service goes unanswered.

Worked when I first installed it years ago. Got back into the hobby this year and it no longer works. At all. Won’t get past the login screen. Trash, and I’d like my money back.

Having the same issues as the other written review. FineScaleModeler is useable at this current version.

Please fix ASAP - this is a disgrace.

App does not work!!!

Unable to view my past downloads and current subscription after updating app. Apple and the magazine points fingers at each other. A call to the Kalmbach actually asked me for my apple user name and password. That’s a sure way to get an account jacked! Canceled subscription renewal after 3 years of subscription.

the magazine is 50% advertisements, your $4 per month is much better spent subscribing to florymodels or genessis models websites. I subscribed for several months hoping to learn something new…never happened. Also had issue of months being paid for and not available for download

I as well have lost the last three years of magazines and special issues via FineScaleModeler. I have called and written for help, only to be told that there is nothing they can do but that my name is “on a list”. Don’t bother clicking on the “App Support” link as the link cannot be found. Brilliant.

Still cannot open ap. Ap screen closes immediately upon loading. Shows running in background but cannot open.

I like FineScaleModeler , but no option or way to enter my current digital subscription. Please add in next version.

Is this ever going to be fixed? Still will not stay open more than a couple of seconds.

Title says it all. Total fail of an app. iPhone 7 Plus, in case decks are reading and want to know what platform it's failing on.

App now crashes and when I tried to delete it and then download a new app... the restore function doesn't work. Totally broken.

Update: It is now 2 weeks after the last iOS version came out & surprise, surprise, I still can’t open Finescale Modeler or restore my purchases if I can get it to open from FineScaleModeler store. I don’t think the folks that are supposed to take care of these problems have a clue what’s happening.

Once again an iOS update has caused Finescale Modeler to crash & burn. Now it seems that NOTHING will make it work. I have uninstalled & reinstalled FineScaleModeler several times without success. If I uninstall & reinstall, I have to use FineScaleModeler store to open the magazine. The issues are all locked. If I try to verify my purchases, it goes to the opening page & stalls. It’s obvious from the constant problems that whoever is responsible doesn’t care whether it works or not.

Cannot access. I have tried repeatedly to access my subscription. I have read this magazine for years. Obviously, you’ll want to stay away based on the reviews. Very disappointing as I can’t afford the print version.
