I usuly don't write a review, but this time I had to. It's the worst app EVER! If I could I would give 0 star. If you are trying to make a payment through PlymouthRockAssurance, guess what. You can't because it won't allow you to type and constantly freezes. Can't believe the company won't fix this problem although they've already gotten some bad reviews due to these issues. So disappointing.

This is hands down the worst app I've ever come across! I'd rate it zero stars but I don't get the option. I use PlymouthRockAssurance only to pay a bill but honestly, I think I'd rather deal with someone on the phone than have to go another round of 'lets constantly jump up to the top page every time I enter a number' or 'lets enter every number possible but none of actually enter the box'. Whoever came up with the bright idea to take the website and put into an app should b fired...immediately! FIX THE WHOLE F!$&@ING THING!

I get a list of my policies on the first screen, but everything I click just launches a web browser, nothing stays in PlymouthRockAssurance . I cannot load my proof of insurance into Apple Wallet. It’s basically a big web shortcut.

Please fix PlymouthRockAssurance, it’s likely costing you customers. First thing, fire the developer(s). Find three developers and make them compete for the contract and then get the cheapest price. Use the feedback given from your customers on what needs to be done. Literally build a new app. Everyone else’s reviews give clear indication of what is wrong, its sad to see its never been acted on.

This is the exact same as a website. Not user friendly for a phone or tablet. I had to re-sign in multiple times to make one payment. The requested information does not tell you what format it wants it in. For example, for the expiration date on my card I was masking the payment with, I entered it as "xx/xx". PlymouthRockAssurance refused to accept it until I changed the format to "xx/xxxx." The interface needs improvement.

PlymouthRockAssurance barely works and it's so confusing. My keyboard glitches whenever I use it in app, and I'm navigated into different areas without touching the screen. I've almost been locked out of my account because I couldn't type my password without it refreshing on its own. Clearly others have had a similar experience. Why won't they just fix it?

It’s 2020. There are so many refined, easy to use apps out there. Why can’t this one keep up. It jumps from top to bottom, doesn’t let me input info, doesn’t take changes in payment info, consistently crashes and is slow, and won’t even let me log in half the time. I wish I could give this zero stars. I can’t wait to switch insurance companies. This has been a bad experience all around.

I really only try to use PlymouthRockAssurance to pay my bill. Every single time I try I can put my card info in and then everything else is a tapping game. It never lets me put in the expiration so it just jumps for the top of the page to the bottom it’s like the bottom buttons don’t even work. So I end up just going on the website everytime. Apps are supposed to make the website more convenient lol this just makes it more annoying. Please fix if your going to have an app.

PlymouthRockAssurance is a work in progress. There is still plenty of work to be done to make it optimal.
PlymouthRockAssurance in some cases will display some of the information when you want to make a payment or not at all.
It will not take copy and past some information. It will time out. Even login is not user friendly.
It doesn’t work the way it should and makes it a nuisance to use.
The idea is great but there is a lot of coding to be made to make it a go to to pay, your bills.
After so many frustrations with PlymouthRockAssurance, I’m going back to the website site where I can do everything better.
Don’t download PlymouthRockAssurance , it will work for some time until it’s starts to glitch....
PR, please work on fixing all your bugs so it’s worth using PlymouthRockAssurance.

I’ve only just switched to this insurance company a month or so ago and I’m feeling like it was a huge mistake. My payment has been different twice so far and for some reason I owed $20 in the middle of the month for idk what. Then I go into PlymouthRockAssurance to change the ETF option and it doesn’t let me paste my bank information in, I had to type it in, and some of the fields I couldn’t even type in. I had to back out multiple times to get it to work. PlymouthRockAssurance works just like the company apparently...

I feel like they make their app and website impossible to make payments through so that we will all either call to set up autopay, or just not pay so they can charge us each an extra $25 per month in late fees.

The WORST app. Don’t even bother. Nothing works.

The worst app I’ve ever encountered, it won’t let you enter the expiration date on your card. Every time you touch the drop down menu to enter the expiration date for the card it constantly jumps to the top of the page. How can a company that has revenue in the billions can fix a problem that so many people have been complaining about for years now. I read a comment from a year ago someone complaining about the same issue. It’s like they don’t care, like a sleazy car sales man that just wants your money and nothing else.

I have never been able to complete a payment on PlymouthRockAssurance before. It is unresponsive with most touch inputs and it is very glitchy. When I try to type in payment information it either refuses to enter in what I’m typing, doesn’t let me paste in my policy #, and or it brings me to the top of PlymouthRockAssurance ’s page and it refuses to allow me to scroll down to be able to get back to where I was at. It seems as if PlymouthRockAssurance isn’t optimized for new iPhones. These issues happened on my other iPhone I used to use and it also persists on my friend’s phones as well.

It is a completely dysfunctional app. Constantly logs me out in the middle of a session, certain links don’t work, and the payment process makes you want to tear your hair out. It jumps around the page, won’t let you enter in part of the credit card information, and if you somehow manage to get past the payment page, sometimes it just loads forever and nothing happens.

This is not a new problem. I’ve had PlymouthRockAssurance for years and there has been no improvement. It’s not worth it. Really shows the care for their customers.

PlymouthRockAssurance is completely trash! It doesn’t remember the password and user ID even though it’s checked off. PlymouthRockAssurance freezes, takes forever to move on to the next page. Currently trying to enter claim information and it hasn’t allowed me to do anything. Not only is it trash, it’s outdated. The developers need to keep up. It’s nowhere near user friendly. It’s beyond frustrating and I wish I can just delete PlymouthRockAssurance in it’s entirety. The unbelievable part is PlymouthRockAssurance is up to date! I could see if it was outdated and just giving problems however this is just the normal function of PlymouthRockAssurance . Highly disappointed!

Constantly jumps from top to bottom.
Does not accept changes in information.
The icing on the cake today was that I entered all of my bank information to make a payment and it would not let me enter the very last number required. What a kick in the nuts. The best part is the company does nothing to remedy this. Shame on you Plymouth Rock. FIX YOUR CRAPPY APP AND WEBSITE
App will not accept any changes.
I tried to change my billing plan from the ridiculous 4 pay plan to a semi reasonable 6 pay plan to no avail. I entered my info SIX TIMES. After every submission no changes were accepted. This forced me to accept a crappy pay plan that ended up charging me 315$ for the rest of the policy. The only reason I purchased this policy was that they advertised an 85$ a month policy when you selected auto pay. PlymouthRockAssurance prevented me from selecting this option. When it finally submitted the info nothing changed. It would not let me input the last number of my info . SO FRUSTRATING

I never write reviews but PlymouthRockAssurance made me want to let other people know how bad it is. It’s extremely frustrating to make a payment. What should take 3 minutes takes 15. Super glitchy and if you mess up you have to restart all over again and that’s another 15 minutes. Not that big of a deal but really annoying.

Having the ability to pay my insurance and check my balance via an app is nice. But every time it opens it goes to a screen you should only need to see when you set up the acct. Also it would be nice if it saved my login acct name.

Update: apparently the policy info changed due to a change over. Called they connected me with IT and issue resolved immediately. Will see how it goes from here! Changing to 3 stars until I have used it for a while.

App will not update since last may! I have to call them to make a payment because when you go to the web site it automatically sends u back to PlymouthRockAssurance . Sooooo frustrating!!

The user experience is terrible. They shrunk their terrible website down into this terrible app. It is incredibly buggy and impossible to use. I tried to pay my bill on PlymouthRockAssurance once and had to abandon it and jump on their website. I cannot believe the technology department for Plymouth Rock would actually release this to the public

Have to keep signing in multiple times to create an account. Then sign in multiple times to try and make a payment. It’s 2019, this should be streamless by now. I hope this isn’t a signal of my new insurance company. And I still wasn’t able to make a payment. Every time I signed in I got one step further until I gave up.

PlymouthRockAssurance will let you get about 75% done filling out payment info. before it screws up and freezes and you have to start over. Ended up calling to make payment. After 5 tries I gave up and deleted PlymouthRockAssurance. I should have read the reviews first.
I would give it negative 3 stars if it was an option.

I have to ask, did Plymouth outsource their developer team to some second world country? It certainly seems that way, because trying to enter payment information is simply impossible on this unfunctioning garbage of an app.

I hope they take information security a little more seriously. Doubtful.

PlymouthRockAssurance is lazy. They essentially packaged a small web view under a menu to make it look like an app. It's not an app, it's a poorly presented sorta-mobile version of their website with no basic credential storing or usefulness at all. You're better off going to their website in your mobile browser.

If I could give PlymouthRockAssurance a -1star I would. You go in endless circles trying to sign on. It’s so frustrating, especially when you are trying to give them money. Well I have used one hour of my life I’ll never get back. Don’t waste your time until they get their act together.

This is a straight dumpster app. I try to make a payment and it more or less doesn’t let me so... does that mean free insurance? Please spend a few of the dollars I’ve given you over the years and make this at least a little bit user friendly. Thanks.

Not user friendly, jumps up and down, doesn’t register when you type more often than not. Couldn’t even press the continue button after I typed all my card information to make a payment

If zero stars was an option. They should be embarrassed. Keeps sending me back to the sign in page. The website isn't much better. Maybe they should invest some of the money from the policy to the website. Awful.

I literally have never been able to even login!!! All it ever shows is the spinning wait wheel (throbber). I have let it sit for 20 minutes even and nothing! It never logs me in. Same thing on the actual website. What the heck???? Can someone please fix this???

PlymouthRockAssurance doesn’t work at all for making payments. Does not save payment information. Even the forms do not accept entries. Not sure what they were going for outside of a frustrating customer experience.

Just an awful app. Every time I attempt to use it, it glitches out. I am trying to give plymouth rock My $, & PlymouthRockAssurance will not let Me.
Thank you plymouth rock for making something unpleasant even worse.

the pay bill is the same but when you try to pay bill with credit card, the screen goes blank..

It’s a little slow but it gets done what needs to be done, I’m able to print my insurance cards, view/pay bills, update policy, report/review a claim. But like I said, it’s a little slow and by that I mean you’ll wait 3 seconds to log in or 5 seconds for your insurance card to load. If you’re not one of those people who honk and curse up a storm at the guy who’s checking the coast at a green light before he goes after it changes you’ll be ok.
