I don’t know what happened but I’ve used you guys for a while now and although I could see slowdowns in my WiFi access speeds they wer aggravating but tolerable.

I’ve now gone from WiFi connection speeds of 400+ Mbs to 10 and 20 Mbs. I’m running an iPhone 11 Pro and it was fine before. I know it’s your app because I still get blazing speeds from my iPad Pro 112.9 and my wife’s iPhone 8’s and my wife’s iPad 7th generation in the same room in the same seat run simultaneously or minutes apart. The only difference thankfully 😅 I didn’t load them on my other devices.

You need to fix this or I’m gone as a customer. I wish I had never purchased your services for a year because if I stop I’m still locked in for a year. I’m not impressed. I also use your other app for protecting my system and now I’m suspicious of it too but I’ll tell you in the ratings for that one.

Have used this for two years now. About 6 months ago, I deleted it from my iPad because VPN was not needed (not “air”, and never connected to anyone else’s WiFi). Now, over the last month, maybe longer, the Safari browser just stopped working on my iPhone. Would not connect to any website nor would it allow me to follow any links (known to me) from my email. It’s like something locked up my phone as if parental control suddenly got switched on. Checked every setting-no reason it should be behaving this way and of course, VPN cannot be turned off.
Deleted Trend Micro, and instantly, my phone connects again (same thing happened with a different browser as well).
Sooo frustrating being out and about, unable to search for stores, restaurants, attractions, etc. Used to be a good service, what happened?

There is nothing more annoying than a company who offers the free trial but then makes it nearly impossible to decline or switch off auto-renew. Do not “trial” this software if you are not sure you want it. To turn-off auto renew and prevent future billing is next to impossible — it can be done but it is a lot of work. I’ve found that it is impossible within TrendMicro itself on your phone, so you will have to get to a PC and log into your this app account. Within TrendMicro on your phone, NONE of the Manage Subscription links work (they all lead to “Page Not Found” splash pages). Extremely frustrating, so I would not recommend! As far as TrendMicro itself, I found that performance of my phone suffered after install. Battery life is shorter and overall speed is slower. Not worth it for me.

It is so annoying that the notifications being off makes TrendMicro flag as “things to fix”. Even when you indicate to ignore this in TrendMicro - it only fixes the issue temporarily. When you open TrendMicro the next time - it will again indicate you have “things to fix”. Some of us don’t want to change the settings of TrendMicro to allow notifications and that ok. But the false positive of always showing there are “things to fix” even after setting this to ignore makes TrendMicro very unfriendly because you don’t know if there is a serious item flagged or just the notifications that it’s flagging - please fix this!

Test: I downloaded and set this up, set content shield on child setting, went to browser (edge in this case, but that does not matter), went to image search site and set site’s filter to off, typed in a type of adult content....let’s just say the fail was massive. I am using this for the ad block and malware protection, but I have to find a better solution to block adult content from devices because any 13 year old can get past this. Worse yet, there is no record I can find of the offending activity. Just as a note, the restrictions option native to the iPhone is terrible and gets in the way more than it helps, what is needed here is a 100% image blocker (video to) that allows a parent or monitor to whitelist image sources (I.e. iPhone photos, text if wanted, and images from particular web sites like Wikipedia or whatever).

TrendMicro content protection and safe surfing protection from malicious websites is good. Some glitches in browser in ios: you cannot print with an air printer using the page with up arrow. It give a ½ page instead of the full page to print. You have to change to a different browser to print. Also, you cannot delete only one item from the history. You have to delete total history. Very irritating. They need to fix these simple functionality problems to make this a decent browser.

Nothing is perfect, but Trend Micro Security comes pretty darn close. I use Trend Micro to secure all three of my Apple devices and appreciate their integration as well as the security they provide. They identify both major and minor threats to the integrity of my devices and have protected me from several attempts to infect them with malware and/or collect and share personal information with unwanted third parties. I have had little or no performance degradation on any of those devices.

The one minor gripe I have is that I have to manually restart the product on my iPad Pro whenever I restart it. I would rather it were automatically restarted as on my iMac but I understand that this is not a readily available feature of iPadOS.

Would I buy it again? I dunno because I have no intention of not transferring it to my newer devices as I upgrade.

Very impressed with the amount software security applications involved to ensure total confidence that my devices are truly secure. I like the scan feature but wish it would go deeper into accessing embedded coding that can be paired with malware, spyware, etc. Through emails or adware calls. I've gotten prompted to enter my Gmail info three times back to back and then when I clicked out of the prompt I was still able to use my phone but recorded am adware or scammer call immediately after. I believe it's some nosey co-workers or ex employer that is trying to smear me. A more thorough and in-depth security scan of internet protocols and hardware would be great.

I got an apple thing on my phone that says that people need to pay 2.99. I would pay for it because I easily go to websites that are not protected and I need something to stop it. It seems like a good price to me but my parents are not really willing to pay for it. However I would want to know if it is really does a good job of detecting viruses because Apple sent me a thing that I need to get VPN because I have six viruses on my iPhone and it could shut down my iPhone. I have also experienced strange pop ups. They said that it has no viruses on the free trial.

Look im sticking with 5 stars because you have protected my phone over the last year. My account expired and I went to renew restore and it wont update to say I am active for another year. I don't know if I did something wrong but I cant seem to get help. I went to the chat room to get help but when I’m asked to get more information I lose the person Im talking to in the chat room. Please assist.

I have use Trend products for years and have been very happy with their apps and features. Knock on wood, I’ve never been hacked or had any virus since using their products. Would and have recommended this product to my friends and family. I personally don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied with them.

I’ve had Trend Micro since 2008 and I’ve been using it ever since. I love the continued updates and secure for all my computers and devices. I recommend this software to protect your devices and I formation. The feature for iPads and iPhones is absolutely awesome as it blocks unwanted websites and ads, blocking them and quarantining them to ensure safety. Thank you trend micro! You guys are awesome. Please continue your professionalism in keeping my information safe.

The recent update seems to have fixed VPN constantly disconnecting. I thought it was my Verizon service for the last several months. It was apparently a coincidence that I had issues with my Verizon one day and since the VPN. I have not had issues after updating last week. I spent way too much time trying to constantly reconnect all day long. Thank you for fixing the issue!

Having been a satisfied Trend Micro customer for many years, I know this product keeps my devices bulletproof. I recently got my wires crossed in a product renewal which resulted in a complicated account issue. The Customer Service Representative I chatted with listened to the details of the challenge and worked patiently with me to resolve the issue.
I will continue to be a happy Trend Micro customer.

I don’t think I have ever been as frustrated as I am right now with trying to get this program were it doesn’t say I have “6” things to fix, “5,” “4,” and now “3” that I can’t get past. I think I now own 2 subscriptions with Trend in trying to get the issues resolved. Also, I haven’t owned this phone long enough for my trial subscription to be expired but TrendMicro says it has expired. What’s up with that?

This Trend Micro apps is awesome to protect you from phishing and attack from malicious software and ransom. I will recommend getting TrendMicro for your mobile if you do most of your businesses on your mobile. Why not for your mobile! since in few years 90% of people will be doing everything on hand held devices. By the way, I also use Trend Micro on all my computers at home Trend Micro protection makes magic ( magic= make a good impression on client). Kudos to this company!

I had a brain injury in 2014 so learning it all is taking time. I have a terribly smart hacker. Having PTSD and dealing with not being able to go online and having no privacy at all, finding my phone changed constantly stealing my Apple ID by changing my password and generally making all activity online difficult is my issue. This product is helping. I haven’t found anything yet which does. As I learn more maybe it will work even better! Learning more, now let’s see if it holds!

I have used this app for more than 10 years and I love it. It’s user friendly, online support is great and they’ll help you fix any and all problems or answer your questions. My mobile app is part of my computer antivirus package along with password manager. I have never had any cookies, viruses, or web tracking download to my iPhone or computer. I have tried other virus support programs and always come back to Trend Micro. Anyone’s parents should be more than happen to pay a few dollars for their children’s security & privacy! I definitely would. Thanks Trend Micro.

Just got trend micro for my laptop &my iPhone i had it on my ASUS router but never used it then I saw it on pc security Chanel & he tested on all the best known viruses & malware it caulght all of them so i Baugh it

The only negative I had to go into Facebook & change something myself but they should me how to do it. All in all I would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants to secure their computer or their phone I will write another review after I use it for a while

I have been using this security suite for well over two years I feel confident on both my iPhone 8 and my iPad Air 2. I like that you can scan your social networks, your wifi system and your websites that you use. I was hacked a few years back thru my FB. It destroyed my windows laptop, but my iPad only had to have adjustments. At the time there were very limited security utilities you could get for a iPhone or Ipad. I feel very confident when it blocks the questionable sites.

Trend Micro was recommended to me several years ago for my Windows OS laptop and I’ve added it to my mobile devices. The tech support is superior as they have always answered my inquiries promptly and completely which is important for someone like me who is trying to stay up to date in a rapidly advancing technological innovation era. It’s good to have a security software that’s good for home & mobile devices along with superior tech support when needed. Thanks for providing a great product & support.

I am on a free trial of this software and like it a lot but I need 2 licenses, one for my phone and one for my tablet. The only way I can figure out how to make it work is to transfer back and forth and that doesn’t work very well. I turned off auto renewal and will attempt it again at the end of the trial; otherwise I will need to find something else. The 5 stars are for the actual product.

I have used trend micro for years. Trend Micro allows me to feel confident. When pulling up some new web pages , I will get a warning if the site is a protected or not. In this day and age with all the hacking going on, I need all the protection I can get. I renew every year and it’s a very easy process. So get TrendMicro and enjoy its benefits.

I had been using Trend Micro for years for my computer and other devices. No problems. However, lately I noticed my cell phone having trouble with the mobile app--the System Tuner kept malfunctioning, then the icon, itself, disappeared from my phone. The other day I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app---BIG MISTAKE!!!!! It seemed fine the rest of the day, until I powered it off and restarted the next morning: my phone had totally crashed and could not be repaired...I will NOT be using them anymore; they lost a loyal customer.

I did not have an issue with the software, but rather with the auto renew. Apparently they have a multitude of complaints about charging credit cards after the auto-renew feature is turned off. This has happened to me the last 3 years, and I am through with them. Last year I got several emails from them reminding me to renew my subscription which would be a sign that auto-renew was indeed turned off. Instead of renewing my subscription I bought a new $39.95 subscription. 5 days after I signed up for the new subscription they refunded my $39.95 purchase price and charged me $71.95 as an auto-renew. They are trying the same crap this year. I put up with this crap for years out of laziness, but after seeing the multitude of complaints about them making unauthorized credit card charges the war is on.
