Microsoft Math Solver Reviews

There are several other mathematical apps on the AppStore that seem to help us when it comes to math, but I really enjoy the Microsoft Math app, because learning is NOT stuck behind a paywall. (apps shall not be named!)

Microsoft Math has one of the most friendliest looking layouts for a user to navigate through, and is quite the tutor when it comes to mathematics. It can do Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus with great detail on how to solve the problem, and explain it to the user. One thing that I do have to say though is some of the problems aren’t available yet to be solved, and may be included in a future update, but also I have to comment on how simple MicrosoftMathSolver is. The contents within MicrosoftMathSolver don’t necessarily cover the majority of other math subjects, as it just focuses on a general level of the subjects.

Regardless, I heavily consider you check MicrosoftMathSolver out, as it will most likely benefit any user that attempts to use it!

This saved my life. Not really. But basically, it saved my grades from dropping down to a failing grade. And that would have been the end of me (lol). This is fantastic! Perfect, 20/10. Exceeds expectations. Honestly, this helps a lot. Don’t cheat though, use it only for when you need a bit of a reminder or to check your work. (Cheating is wrong please don’t-)
Anyway, I am very grateful to have stumbled onto MicrosoftMathSolver. Really, it’s worth it. Very worthwhile and so so so helpful. It’s literally perfect I will not stop saying how much this has helped me. Ok wait I should stop now 😂.
But seriously, don’t wait. It’s super helpful (and hey it’s free). Ok, enough praising.

I’ve only had MicrosoftMathSolver for a short amount of time and it’s been great, it’s all free, yes FREE, unlike other apps that don’t allow you to access certain things unless you have a subscription this one doesn’t! It’s great and you have options to enter your problem: draw, scan, or type :) there’s step by step which is very helpful and you can even take a quiz that’s based off of the problem you entered. (please use this wisely and you should only use it when you’re having trouble or just need a reminder on how to do something:)) overall I love MicrosoftMathSolver and it’s so helpful and worth it :D

It has as good as any step by step instructions and though im only algebra 2 it handles everything. Its the ease of use intuitive ,with plenty of menu extras and lots of links in MicrosoftMathSolver to videos and websites. As many links as you like.(not ADVERTISEMENTS )Even practice pages. A description of the problem. Often choices of solutions and then a page of links as i said. Video, reading material, practice problems and loads of al those links. Intuitive with handy drop down menus right there no hunting for menus. With the abundance of material the other apps have a new standard to reach.

This is a great app, I’m a college student and I use it all the time. It can handle complex equations and the graphs give you stuff like the domain, asymptotes, and other things like that that even Desmos doesn’t give you.

However, there is one issue that I’ve had with it; whenever an answer is kind of long, it shows it in a small window and it is impossible to scroll to the side to see the whole thing. I often have to use a significant amount of force for it to recognize me trying to scroll. It’s not a deal-breaker or anything, just something that is EXTREMELY annoying, especially when you’re cheating on a timed exam.

This is one of the best apps I have ever seen to help understand how to solve problems. You are provided with so much information and learning resources, and you can even have it walk you through the problems and provide descriptions of how to do each step. Now I can spend hours learning how to solve complex math problems without wanting to pull the hair out of my head. It is simply an excellent tool, and unbelievably, it's free to use at the time of writing this. It is so comprehensive and easy to use that I feel it is worthy of an award!

I struggle from time to time in algebra and have used multiple apps for it. This one has been the best so far! Unlike most calculators, this one provides free explanations on every problem and doesn't require you to spend money at all. It gives you very simple but outstanding steps and generally just lets you have all the information you need. This has completely saved me from wasting time and I really enjoy using it! I recommend this to anyone who needs answers and especially step by step explanations. 💛

MicrosoftMathSolver is amazing. Not only does it solve complex equations which cannot be done on a regular or even graphing calculator, it also brings you through each and every step to solving the equation. MicrosoftMathSolver is as much a calculator as it is a tutor.

Forget even having to figure out where the correct buttons for symbols etc are, simply snap a picture or draw the equation in and it’s solved.

Not sure much negative could be said about MicrosoftMathSolver. Students today truly don’t know how blessed they are to be living with all this technology.

Their step-by-step explanations on how to solve each problem are very simple, and don't take much effort to understand like those fancy-worded paragraphs you'll always find on the internet. This is very useful for figuring out what you should be doing on a certain type of problem. Type it out, press Enter, then press the step-by-step button, and it tells you everything you need to know on how to solve any problems similar to the one it solved for you. Great app!

During the coronavirus pandemic, many school have resorted to virtual learning. Adapting to online classes is difficult I personally learn better in person. I take a chemistry class that has a lot to due with math. MicrosoftMathSolver has made online learning a lot easier by breaking down the steps of the equations, you can scan and write out equations too. They even show provide videos on equations and links to helpful resources. Unlike Photomath it’s free. I recommend MicrosoftMathSolver for your math needs.

I’ve been having trouble with math problems and I can figure it out on my own but can’t really do the math. I’ve been using brainly and it was ok and it wasn’t as fast and didn’t have my answers I was looking for, but! My father showed me MicrosoftMathSolver and it was like brianly but just for math! and it was faster than brainly and explained the math problem and I just loved how it did that! So I recommend that if your using brainly and can’t find the answers, plz use MicrosoftMathSolver it made math a bit easier for me

I downloaded a bunch of math apps to help me, I’m almost doing bad on my grade because of math until I found this, it’s free to see the steps to do it and it really works!! You can type, and draw the equation too, but of course you can take a photo of the problem. For my math homework I was supposed to do my math on a separate piece of paper but I was confused, and this REALLY helped! It’s very accurate and correct! I would recommend downloading if you need help With math, thanks, Microsoft!!

I’m a student and I do college algebra I would greatly suggest MicrosoftMathSolver it works really well and the photo feature is extremely accurate and never wrong I would rate MicrosoftMathSolver five stars but when it comes to factoring things they cut out some crucial steps to explaining how and why there doing something they factor out but don’t say what there factoring out and it gets extremely confusing sometimes otherwise this is the most perfect math app I hope they read this so this CAN be THE perfect calculator type app

Microsoft Math is amazing. It is able to successfully handle complex equations and problems. Microsoft seems to be the only tech company truly providing an amazing and well rounded experience to get to the future. The ability to read handwriting is amazing. People may complain about how it’s not going to help anyone learn math, but I completely disagree. People complained about the same thing when the computer became mainstream. People will learn from this, and I can’t wait to see what Microsoft comes up with next.

You might think this is just a easy way to get done with homework, but if you have to provide work/proof, you have to figure it out yourself, and I respect that. The format’s simple, it has dark mode, and it has multiple ways to ways to insert your questions. It also provides the steps to solving the problem and links to extra help. Socratic from Google for comparison, just just vauge tips on how to answer the question. MicrosoftMathSolver really helps. Thanks Microsoft

Learning algebra is made 10x easier with this software. I split screen this with Notes and use my apple pencil between the two. Whenever I get a problem wrong, I use the Math app to see where I went wrong. It breaks down the process of simplifying and evaluating so you aren't just getting answers, you are learning the process. It's free and without ads! I am in love with MicrosoftMathSolver and recommend it to every student or curious learner.

I have been using Microsoft Math for about four months and I can’t get enough of it. MicrosoftMathSolver is great and much better than other alternatives like Photomath. I don’t usually leave reviews, but MicrosoftMathSolver is so great that I had to. Other photo-mathematical apps can’t read half of your questions, but Microsoft Math is different. Microsoft Math read your question flawlessly and gives you a great answer that is always right.

This thing has saved me from getting a bad grade so many times. I’ve also saved so much time.

Also if you’re going to use this for help on homework or something don’t just get all the answers and call it a day. Make sure you actually learn the material otherwise you’ll fail your tests (I speak from experience).

MicrosoftMathSolver is so amazing! Not only does it give me correct answers in variable problems, but gives me step by step process strategy. That way, I can teach myself. This really is an awesome app, I would HIGHLY recommend this to everyone and anyone who has a little trouble in the math subject, or, you have to use this in some everyday life thing. Really appreciate the effort by Microsoft. A free no ad app. Solves really complex equations and explains it step by step. Please keep up the good work. Hope the developers and the product team stay on top with such innovation. This is a nice way to provide those with lesser resources an equitable way of learning abd not getting stuck without help. I really love MicrosoftMathSolver over all, but I do have some problems. When I do the Systems of Equations, the formatting for the steps solving the questions becomes wonky. This made my experience worse because it would make it really confusing and difficult to understand. Also, there were some strange glitches in the system when I took pictures, so I ended up stopping taking the pictures.

As an educator, I am horrified by MicrosoftMathSolver. It is not designed for learning but to simply show off Microsoft’s AI. Students will not learn from this. Instead, they will use it to simply get the solution. Maybe they will copy down the steps so they can show “their” work.

If this was intended for learning, then you would be presented with guided instructions and have to at least click though to get the answer. What instructions they provide are also poor and sometimes there are none at all.

When I was in college, there was this amazing (for the time) symbolic math package called Reduce that could solve a number of different, challenging symbolic math problems. It always amazed me, but I was not always clear how it came to it’s results. It’s fun to see a 21st century symbolic math app and I hope people find it useful.

It seems to do the job necessary and can be a good way to get a quick solution on a math problem. It also gives explanations for the solution and helps guide you through each problem.

I love MicrosoftMathSolver so far. I was in desperate need of a math solver app for my homework online. It also tells you the right steps to solve a problem. Socratic was good but it fell off from the update. Thx for making this.

It is really good. It’s easy to function, and it’s easy to understand. But the only downside is, it shows you only three different ways how to do the problem but how I do it is different. but it still helps me. I recommend you download it😁

This is just an amazing app. It can solve anything from simple addition to tricky algebra. It works perfectly with the Apple Pencil as well. Definitely one of the best apps for homework/productivity.

If your like me I forget the lesson when I get home but it helps a lot because it gives you the answer and the way to solve it

Don’t write many reviews, but this gem is very deserving of one. Solves math problems. Tells you how to do them. And it gives you some practice questions. Brilliant. Way to go Microsoft!

also since there's no Mathtype client for ios,can you make the functions copyable or at least able to output images?

She now comes to me to borrow my phone a few times a day to access MicrosoftMathSolver . I am thinking of installing the iPad version for her. Wonderful app, my life saver!
