What is FishLine? FishLine is a free app that helps users find fresh local seafood from fishermen off the boat, local seafood markets, farmer's markets, local restaurants or cafes, and community supported fisheries. The app also includes a Community Seafood Exchange for bulk seafood transactions and FishLine Direct for ordering seafood directly from fishermen. Fishermen, markets, CSFs, and restaurants can post their available local seafood on the app for free. The app uses GPS to find the nearest port, boat, or market with fresh seafood for sale.

Useless App for Rhode Island Fresh Seafood

I was looking for an alternative fresh seafood delivery service in Rhode Island. I currently use a service and was looking for more variety. FishLine failed to identify a single source of fresh seafood in Rhode Island. A google search yields several sources of RI fresh seafood. Improve FishLine to help hard working RI fishermen!

Fresh fish and crab off the boats!

Fresh crab for our tailgate party at Stanford Stadium. Who knew there was an amazing database of fresh fish and crab for foodies like me? Now we can locate the best catch of the day and still enjoy the game. Half Moon Bay is so close to campus and the quality of the this app app saves time and money. FishLine is intuitive and includes weather, market prices, ports, and markets for all Fresh seafood lovers. Very well done and fast.
