I have changed my password 3 times in a couple days. The passwords work fine on a laptop but “are invalid” on avianca . YES, I checked my imputa thoroughly. Takes forever to load. Keeps changing back to Spanish despite repeatedly choosing English. Many other problems with it. Three years ago it was great, now save yourself a partial headache and use a web browser. If you want actual answers from people though don’t count on it either via chat, WhatsApp or phone. The first two ask a bunch of questions & tell you they cannot answer the simplest question as they are training and to go to help which is what people do before resorting to “chat” or call the call center. Good luck getting someone on the phone nowadays.

Honestly completely useless app. There’s no integration of any kind of services into avianca so every time you want to make a change it directs you back to the website which is horrible too. No way to make changes to your flight ( like adding seat selection) without having to rebook the whole flight. Absolutely ridiculous! Their customer service is nonexistent at this point. If you can avoid flying with this airline, you should. I’ve traveled with them before and it wasn’t as bad as it is now. I guess they’re cutting expenses everywhere and the customer is suffering as results. App is just a mess !

this app gave me and my wife excellent customer service and went above and beyond for us regarding the issues we were having. Thanks again and I look forward seeing you again on my next trip to Honduras

This airlines is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. They don’t care about passengers at all, in fact animals are treated better than the customers who are unfortunate enough to buy a ticket on this airline. I am cancelling my account with them and never using them again and encouraging everyone I know to stay as far away from them as possible. They make Spirit airlines look like the Ritz Carlton, and that’s not an easy thing to do. My red hat’s off to you this app, ciao!

Does not work at all. I wasted my time trying to enter the flight info several times and when I was going ti select the flight it said there were no flight that day or it showed an error message.
It was frustrating, disappointing and a waste of time. The web site does not work either. I tried calling the customer service but they never answered. It has been a extremely negative customer experience.

You try and login, but it does not let you. Gives you wrong password error, but you can login online. You try and link to lifemiles, but it does not. You login to lifemiles and the issue is with this app app. Tells you no internet connection does not allow you to move forward. Poorly written app. Change profile pic, does not work. Truly a waste of your time. this app does not have employees, so NO service. Just bad all around.

This new version is so cool, I’m in love with the notifications I usually got with the flight status, it’s like talking with a personal advisor just made for me! 👍🏼

Turns out my contact information is in proper case, so I cannot find the flight, not check in… essentially I cannot do anything because the query only goes in when things are written in all upper case (if I actually do this the system tells me no reservation can be found), this loop makes avianca useless.

The worst airline app. Will not allow me to enter my person details because despite the data being correct it shows me an error message. Additionally, will not let you add your flight onto avianca because it will tell you your information is incorrect, although it isn’t. Terrible and useless app. Would rate it 0 stars if possible.

First time using avianca. Very easy to navigate. All info you need about your trips is very easy to find. Highly recommend to any one.

Even though I had to wait on a line of 45 minutes, I got a good experience the call center lady was helpful and diligent..

I will give 5 starts in my experience always have ve been excellente, not complains, I hope continues likes this.

absolutely useless app, serves no purpose at all. Check-in was a nightmare, charged me for a free seat, always refers you to their equally crappy website and is always making you go to WhatsApp. 1 star is generous of me. Airline apps have been around long enough, copy others and end this farce. No excuse for being a garbage app this day n age

avianca is totally pointless. If you want to do anything (check in, change seats, upgrades, change flights etc) it just directs you to a web page, avianca provides zero value. Bit like the airline who are also pretty useless at most things.

Once you enter your Frequent Flyer number, your flights should be available immediately. They are not. Furthermore adding manually seems to be broken. This is the most basic of expected functionality.

You would think that this app could put an app together that would let you buy a ticket. Unfortunately it glitches out right in the middle of booking your ticket or simply waits until you put all your info in, including cc info then it doesn’t accept your card and locks you out from trying to put in a new card etc
I have spent hours on this “worthless” app trying to book 2 tickets and always wind up having to go through a third party booking service to buy my tickets.
this app- if I were on your board of directors, I would immediately fire your web development people and get someone who knows how to put together an app that works. I would imagine you have lost millions of dollars of revenue because of the frustration of dealing with your web site. Feel free to check out Delta, United etc if you want to see what a real app looks like that allows you to buy a ticket.

Just got home from a trip to South America. Booked air with this app airline because of the times of the flights. Before we leave they changed flight times 3 times. The last change was 1 1/2 hrs earlier. I called to complain but was told no other available time. Then got to gate and they didn’t even have us recorded! Wanted us to switch and have a 6 hour layover before we leave. On the return home when we arrived at our stop over we went to get lunch. We had from 1130am til 210 pm. Just happened to look at screen and it was changed to 1235. Never got notifications or this change. We could have missed our flight instead we missed our lunch. Very unprofessional and very rude. I will not be dealing with this sort of airline again when there are lots of others to go to beware of this practice they do to you.

After reading all the reviews I was skeptical about getting avianca , but I tried it anyway and I am satisfied with it. I visited four cities in Colombia and used avianca with all my checking-ins. The only problem was adding the tickets to my wallet. Still getting the tickets at the airport was fast. Also their services have improved greatly. I do recommend this app. Good fares.

Excelente customer service. My experience with this app is always great! I can read many bad reviews complaint about avianca it doesn’t matter. For me I cannot find a better airline to fly to Colombia! And avianca works. No problem at all.

avianca ’s navigation is clumsy and unintuitive at best. And now, it has essentially locked me on the home screen with a box that gives me the option to Update or Check In. It’s the latest version, so Update doesn’t do anything. Check-In breaks because it isn’t within 24 hours of departure time. At this point, avianca is useless.

Worst experience ever. Never again.
I book a flight with this company for a 7 hour flight with 1 connection and the day before my flight they change my itinerary to 2 connections and 16 hour flight. I cancel the reservation and it’s been more than a month and still no refund yet.

Always choose this app to travel back home, best customer service compare to others, great prices as well with Expedia. Thanks this app will see you in couple of days <3

avianca is VERY frustrating to navigate. I fly to Colombia on a regular basis with this app and getting a ticket is never a pleasant experience with avianca. I usually have to restart the buying process at least 2 or 3 times (this doesn’t happen to me with any other ticket app). Needs major improvements.

I loose a fly just because of avianca. It’s slow, crash multiple times trying to by a fly. Seriously, I don’t know this app service (on-fly) but if it’s like avianca I’m glad I didn’t even get to buy the ticket.
They really need to work hard to compete in america.

So I was flying to Ecuador and all of the sudden we were landing and the pilot decided to lift up at full force feeling 5-7 g’s of force and then he dropped so fast that there was no gravity for a solid second terrible company that almost killed me and my family never flying in this company again

Really easy to use app, yet it could use some minor improvements. But overall a solid app.

avianca is just not Working anymore. It crashes after the 100 year logo.

Doesn’t even let me find a flight to begin with. It’d be great if I could even search for a flight because that’s what this is for but the buttons are grayed out and doesn’t let me find dates at all. Fix it and I’ll review again.

The 100 years milestone bring us that bad application. I cannot even sign in, an all my information are correct. Too many issues.

Please let’s back to the simple and good app when the airline was 99 years old.

I went to Guatemala book the ticket as a direct flight one week before the date i just got informed that my flight was changed to stop in El Salvador when i got to el
Salvador i had to wait 5 hours to get to Guatemala because a delayed flight 😒
