I have changed my password 3 times in a couple days. The passwords work fine on a laptop but “are invalid” on avianca . YES, I checked my imputa thoroughly. Takes forever to load. Show more was great, now save yourself a partial headache and use a web browser. If you want actual answers from people though don’t count on it either via chat, WhatsApp or phone. The first two ask a bunch of questions & tell you they cannot answer the simplest question as they are training and to go to help which is what people do before resorting to “chat” or call the call center. Good luck getting someone on the phone nowadays.

Turns out my contact information is in proper case, so I cannot find the flight, not check in… essentially I cannot do anything because the query only goes in when things are written in all upper case (if I actually do this the system tells me no reservation can be found), this loop makes avianca ... Once you enter your Frequent Flyer number, your flights should be available immediately. They are not. Furthermore adding manually seems to be broken. This is the most basic of expected functionality.

avianca is totally pointless. If you want to do anything (check in, change seats, upgrades, change flights etc) it just directs you to a web page, avianca provides zero value. Bit like the airline who are also pretty useless at most things.

Honestly completely useless app. There’s no integration of any kind of services into avianca so every time you want to make a change it directs you back to the website which is horrible too. No way to make changes to your flight ( like adding seat selection) without having to rebook the whole flig... Show more ht. Absolutely ridiculous! Their customer service is nonexistent at this point. If you can avoid flying with this airline, you should. I’ve traveled with them before and it wasn’t as bad as it is now. I guess they’re cutting expenses everywhere and the customer is suffering as results. App is just a mess !

The worst airline app. Will not allow me to enter my person details because despite the data being correct it shows me an error message. absolutely useless app, serves no purpose at all. Check-in was a nightmare, charged me for a free seat, always refers you to their equally crappy website and is always making you go to WhatsApp. 1 star is generous of me. Does not work at all. I wasted my time trying to enter the flight info several times and when I was going ti select the flight it said there were no flight that day or it showed an error message.

You try and login, but it does not let you. Gives you wrong password error, but you can login online. You try and link to lifemiles, but it does not. This airlines is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. They don’t care about passengers at all, in fact animals are treated better than the customers who are unfortunate enough to buy a ticket on this airline. It’s a basic requisite to all apps. Why have you not done it in all these years?

Even though I had to wait on a line of 45 minutes, I got a good experience the call center lady was helpful and diligent..

First time using avianca. Very easy to navigate. All info you need about your trips is very easy to find. Highly recommend to any one.

avianca is VERY frustrating to navigate. I fly to Colombia on a regular basis with this app and getting a ticket is never a pleasant experience with avianca. Doesn’t even let me find a flight to begin with. It’d be great if I could even search for a flight because that’s what this is for but the buttons are grayed out and doesn’t let me find dates at all. Fix it and I’ll review again.

So I was flying to Ecuador and all of the sudden we were landing and the pilot decided to lift up at full force feeling 5-7 g’s of force and then he dropped so fast that there was no gravity for a solid second terrible company that almost killed me and my family never flying in this company again

I loose a fly just because of avianca. It’s slow, crash multiple times trying to by a fly. Seriously, I don’t know this app service (on-fly) but if it’s like avianca I’m glad I didn’t even get to buy the ticket.
They really need to work hard to compete in america.

Just got home from a trip to South America. Booked air with this app airline because of the times of the flights. Before we leave they changed flight times 3 times. The last change was 1 1/2 hrs earlier. I called to complain but was told no other available time. Then got to gate and they didn’t ev... Show more en have us recorded! Wanted us to switch and have a 6 hour layover before we leave. On the return home when we arrived at our stop over we went to get lunch. We had from 1130am til 210 pm. Just happened to look at screen and it was changed to 1235. Never got notifications or this change. We could have missed our flight instead we missed our lunch. Very unprofessional and very rude. I will not be dealing with this sort of airline again when there are lots of others to go to beware of this practice they do to you.

Worst experience ever. Never again.
I book a flight with this company for a 7 hour flight with 1 connection and the day before my flight they change my itinerary to 2 connections and 16 hour flight. I cancel the reservation and it’s been more than a month and still no refund yet.

avianca ’s navigation is clumsy and unintuitive at best. And now, it has essentially locked me on the home screen with a box that gives me the option to Update or Check In. You would think that this app could put an app together that would let you buy a ticket. Unfortunately it glitches out right in the middle of booking your ticket or simply waits until you put all your info in, including cc info then it doesn’t accept your card and locks you out from trying to put ... I have spent hours on this “worthless” app trying to book 2 tickets and always wind up having to go through a third party booking service to buy my tickets.
this app- if I were on your board of directors, I would immediately fire your web development people and get someone who knows how to put together an app that works. I would imagine you have lost millions of dollars of revenue because of the frustration of dealing with your web site. Feel free to check out Delta, United etc if you want to see what a real app looks like that allows you to buy a ticket.
Hope my disappointment was apparent!!

Salvador i had to wait 5 hours to get to Guatemala because a delayed flight 😒

avianca is just not Working anymore. It crashes after the 100 year logo.

Really easy to use app, yet it could use some minor improvements. But overall a solid app.

Excelente customer service. My experience with this app is always great! I can read many bad reviews complaint about avianca it doesn’t matter. For me I cannot find a better airline to fly to Colombia! And avianca works. No problem at all.

After reading all the reviews I was skeptical about getting avianca , but I tried it anyway and I am satisfied with it. I visited four cities in Colombia and used avianca with all my checking-ins.
