I’m always amazed when a major corporation releases and heavily markets a product like #7now but doesn’t catch stuff like... updating delivery time... in a delivery app. Fun fact, the app also does not tell you what it’s password requirements are during account creation or allow hyphens in last names, shows out of stock items as available, does not have a way to contact the driver or modify the order once submitted, sells your personal information (US only so it’s legal to require you to opt in to email marketing and associated data barter), requires you to call customer service and wait on hold for upwards of 45 minutes... to leave a voicemail, and the best part is it’s not even 7Eleven delivering your order... it’s Postmates! Also can’t request a refund on an order through the app, Microsoft Anna yells at you about there being “three people ahead of you” although that number doesn’t change and eventually just dumps you to voicemail, cancels orders hours after stated delivery time without reaching out to customers and in some cases without notifying them, delivers partially fulfilled orders and sometimes charges the full amount. I’d be genuinely amused by the incompetence on display here if it wasn’t standing between me and some skittles... which means that this is true to the in-store 7Eleven experience at least.

With the money I spent over the last month, ALONE, with 7-11, I could’ve gotten two free meals worth of food with other rewards programs……. with 7-11, I have enough for a whole, SMALL cup of coffee. I’d laugh if it wasn’t so sad 7-11: please don’t constantly bug us about using this program if the returns are so insultingly meager. Really. Really sad.
And why are NONE of my coffees credited toward this supposed program I see on the app for a free coffee? I buy them EVERYDAY and have one next to me, as I write this, and can take a picture of the PILE of them in my paper trash. Or, I suppose I should say, I have my LAST 7-11 coffee sitting next to me. And yes, I am one of the few Americans who actually won’t give someone my business any longer, after promising not to.
How this app has almost 5 stars is BEYOND me, considering the fact that I see NOTHING but negative reviews. I’m guessing Apple has some sort of rule in place, where bad reviews are eliminated, once the company places a fake, sugarcoated response under it, that solves NOTHING. Lol. And I’m guessing mine is a double whammy, now that I’ve brought them into the picture. It truly is disgraceful to see just how dishonest corporations are allowed(by the government and us civilians) to go on playing the games they play.

This is one of the worst store rewards apps apps I’ve ever seen/used. First, it’s very confusing to look at. Second, it feels like it has bugs that won’t load what you want to load or do what you want to do. Half the screens I tap on give me an error message that says “Oops” when it won’t load correctly. Third, it takes a very long time to gain any points before you can actually earn any rewards - they should at least give you some smaller reward options earlier on. Fourth, the app keeps giving me a notification badge that I have an unread message or something in there, but no matter how many times I open it I don’t see anything there for me, yet even after opening and closing the app my notification badge is still there on my phone. Fifth, I’m trying to deactivate my account before deleting the app - I don’t want them to have my name or address in their files - THERE IS NO WAY TO DEACTIVATE YOUR PROFILE! This means when you delete the app, your name/account is still in their active database. After having this app for 6 months, I feel it’s more frustrating than it is helpful, so I’m deleting it today. I don’t recommend it, unless you enjoy confusing screens, and fake notification badges when there’s nothing for you there.
