works well but it changes the target temp by itself. i set up a temp (cold or hot depending on the season) but will change my temp setting. i constantly watch my temp settings just be sure the target temp is still right. i am tired of constantly checking the target temp. it adds or subtract 2 to 3 degrees depending on usage (ac or heat). i wish nvenergy stop adjusting my settings. i don’t run my ac/heat as much, the only time i use it is to kill the heat during summertime and kill the coldness during winter. STOP adjusting the target temp!!!

EcoFactorThermostat is now totally broken. When the system was first installed EcoFactorThermostat was not very reliable. You make a thermostat change sometimes it would work, other times not. No error reporting if it was not successful. Then it became reliable even without complete feedback. Now all EcoFactorThermostat does is say there was an error. I called mpower they said all apps on all platforms are broken. It's been about a week now. They are working on it is all the person could tell me. Very poor level of service. Wish I would have never signed up for this system provided though local power company.

The gateway seems to continually lose connectivity and finally comes back to work at odd times. Since EcoFactorThermostat has not been updated for two years it seems to be obsolete. I cannot get any technical agents to call me about it. Looks like another brand may be a better choice. I enjoyed using it when connectivity was reliable.

I recently got two simple thermostats. They are intuitive if you just want a digital interface. EcoFactorThermostat get frozen each time I launch it. Nothing shows up. Can be a great Product if made more user friendly.

EcoFactorThermostat is spectacularly unreliable. It often refuses to change the thermostat to your desired setting. It seems to be getting worse too.

Apparently there was an upgrade, I mean downgrade, and now EcoFactorThermostat keeps resetting the schedule. Fix it or I will disconnect and get something that works with Alexa.

Is any update coming for IOS 14.??? It’s been like three weeks and EcoFactorThermostat doesn’t even open.!!

The thermostats are not great at detecting actual temperature in a recent update they stopped letting you set the thermostat below 67.

This is very hot in my house.

Please give us the ability to set the thermostat to 60 in the schedule.

Pressing the buttons on the actual thermostat you can do this.

This thing has ended up costing me money due to a poorly thought out program. It cranks the air conditioning up during the day when no one is home and turns it down unusually at night so no one can sleep. Only Nevada Energy can remove these thermostats and the appointment process takes a long long time and it can only be done by Nevada energy technicians. Highly recommended no one take part in this program. I certainly regret it. If you need a thermostat that you can control through your phone try one of the private ones don't go this route.

Love the idea but almost resets itself and changes the temperature setting all day long. I have to constantly monitor the settings! Happens several times a day and I literally have to keep changing the temperature back to what I want. Also, it has a hard time connecting to the internet. I run into this problem every day where thermostats are disconnected and so I have to manually change the termperature. When I'm away and going home, I often can't start the cooling down because it is offline. App is a cool idea but LOTS OF DEBUGGING still required. Hope they address these problems soon.

I've had EcoFactorThermostat for over a year, and the system in my house for about a year-and-a-half (used to have to log on to the computer to get it to work). EcoFactorThermostat has gone through several iterations, but the bottom line is that it doesn't work. I adjust the temp on EcoFactorThermostat , and it resets to what it was before. It is actually more of an energy waster than a regular thermostat because when you lower the temp manually on these, it resets after a few hours--so if you are gone for a week, you can kick your temp down for only a few hours of it. This is a five-star idea with one-star execution.

I have not updated. I'm afraid to do so and that I will inadvertently hit Update All on my iPhone. I have to update my new apps one by one to avoid this. Please return the Version before this recent series of dysfunctionality. The version I downloaded a couple months ago was wonderful -- use it all the time. You developers can wait until you get the bugs out of the current one before you post it again in EcoFactorThermostat Store. This is why I read reviews before I update any of my apps.

Liked the first version way better than the new look and feel. Hope this patch fixes the connectivity issue like it claims, but too bad it still doesn't let you see if your unit is running. Have to log into the web version for that. Still liked the up and down arrows to adjust temp rather than dragging the ball.

The more and more I use this the less and less it works. It will work for a few days then will have problems with it for a few days. I think the problem is with the thermostats themselves. Nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night in a sweat because its 87 degrees in the house because the thermostats malfunctioned. I found that going on their website was the only sure way to control the temp.

Almost all apps today let you login via fingerprint or face recognition. Because yours is not a frequently used app — which means it’s hard to remember the password between sessions — it’s always a pain to login because I have to go and look up the password elsewhere. Please add support for these now-typical methods of login support. Thanks!

Installer was super cool dude named Craig. He was on time, friendly and knew his stuff. Replaced two devices and showed me how to set them up. Have not had one problem either on the PC or IPhone 5. This stuff is awesome. I wirelessly text my wife for another beer and that fails 90% of the time. Great job Nevada Energy!!!!

Great to be able to turn my thermostat down from bed! App is a bit clumsy and has crashed a few times, but having access is AWESOME. Wish it was prettier - would show it off more. And be nice to see the energy saving they claim in-app. Only logged into website once!

NVenergy will have a free thermostat installed that allows you to control your ac and heating from EcoFactorThermostat. It works so smooth and is so simple, I love EcoFactorThermostat and you can program it to turn on at 4 different time of the day, you need to have a port open on your modem for the thermostat to work and NVenergy can adjust it during peak power times but you receive a discount on your energy bill, You can adjust it if they override your energy settings but I haven't noticed it and love the system. It's free and if you don't like it they will replace it with you old thermostat for free as well. Highly recommend!

Setting my thermostat is simple and dare I say, fun! Love this new app, Ecofactor! Took me less than two minutes to setup the schedule for my fairly complicated schedule. Love that I can easily setup different temps for each day of the week.

Plus, it's easy to see how much I save over time. If I didn't already have my schedule configured, I'd be tempted to keep playing with EcoFactorThermostat ! Highly recommend.

"The manuracturer (Ecofactor) has been offline for DAYS! I am unable to climb the 17 stairs straight up because of my knees and back to adjust the upstairs thermostat. So now what? NVE has No Idea when or if this will be addressed. Ridiculous. Air conditioning was on all night upstairs and there is nothing I can do about it.
