Why does it keep getting stuck on "buffering"? If it isn't that, it freezes right in the middle of something. Very frustrating as I've been watching WGN my whole life.
All I’m getting is a blue screen with terms of service and privacy policy.
WGN thru Firestick "buffers" more than I watch it! Very annoying! I've deleted it and reinstalled. Worked for a few days then started buffering again! Wish they would settle their contract with Nextar!
When streaming WGN on my Firestick smart TV it continues to go into a buffering mode. We have 5G wifi and it is only the WGN app that has this issue. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it and still have this issue. How can I fix this?
Am a WGN daily watcher but since going to streaming the WGN app is a constant problem. Only app that buffers on a regular basis. Then when it does work, they go out for ads at weird times like in the middle of an important news story. Using Firestick w Verizon Home Internet but was a problem on Xfinity too. Very frustrating...love WGN
We watch WGN-TV with the app on an Apple-TV. There is a picture in a picture and won't go away. No other apps or channels are like that. Can you explain that?

I'm using the current WGN app on ROKU and there is a serious volume issue. During the news, the volume is muffled and low so you have to raise the TV volume to hear it. Then when they go to commercial break, the commercials are booming, ear-splitting loud. I've tried every option on the TV, soundbar, Roku, and app itself. The only thing that works is to stop using the app and watch something else. No other app, program, or streaming service is having this issue. It would be nice if this is fixed.
App has been stuck buffering for a few days. Cleared cache and data, rebooted firestick, nothing works. Was working fine until a few days ago.
App freezes, using fire stick. All other apps good. Download speeds over 320
My wgn ap is always freezing and buffering. Any suggestions on how to fix. We do not have issues with any other aps on our tv. We use a firestick. Thanks!
I have the same issue reported by Thomas Yacullo (Aug 02, 2022). The wgn app keeps going into a loop repeating itself. It does this several times a week. It could be on the show or durring an ad. No other problems streaming with other apps. My wife is a Super Fan of WGN9. Please help us resolve this issue. Thanks!
