I purchased elf yourself and all 19 dances and just recently upgraded my iPhone to the new 12 Pro, after the latest elf yourself update it is saying I have to purchase all the dances again or pay for a 1 year subscription.

I get that you want to switch to a subscription model, but removing what was already purchased doesn't seem right.

I tried the restore purchases option mentioned in the FAQ, but it still says I need to purchase them. I am signed in as the same Apple account on my iPhone and iPad, but my iPad hasn't updated ElfYourself yet and where as my iPhone has, and I can no longer use my purchases on my iPhone.

I contacted support and even sent them a screen shot of the purchase history from my iPhone and screen shots of my iPad which shows that I have made the in app purchases.

This seems wrong to remove purchased items and make people rebut them now under the subscription model.

I loved ElfYourself before. It was working great and I was able to produce wonderful little videos until today. I have to produce multiple videos for work event. I paid today $5.99 for in-app purchase to get access to 4 additional videos. To my disappointment all videos I produced and saved after this purchase are marked with huge #this app fraise in the upper right corner through all videos. If I was changed for ElfYourself and production of movies, I don’t need a developer to mark each of my video with the huge words #this app that destroy my videos. When I made an attempt to contact the developer by using the link provided by developer on ElfYourself page in Apple store I only got a blank page. This mean that the developer doesn’t support their application and cannot be contacted. What a waist of good product, time and money. I am ashamed to show to audience elf videos with the developer’s markings that take almost a quarter of the screen.

ElfYourself is fabulous and I’d happily spend money downloading more videos if I had the opportunity to be more than the first ten seconds. I can’t tell whether or it it is worthwhile in such a short preview and would prefer to see half the video or the whole on with a big logo or something faintly over the top so I know more about what I am purchasing. They could make a lot more $$$$ if they weren’t so stingy.
Video quality is great and it is easy to upload photos and share results. Take this good thing and make it great, please!

I bought ElfYourself some time ago and I purchased a couple of dances at first, liked it enough to buy the entire lot of dance styles. Then it would ask me to purchase it again as if I hadn't purchased the dances. Then when you ask what's going on, you get no response. The developers for this game are only interested in getting your money again and again and again and again never respond when you inquire why, if iced purchased everything, why am I being asked to repurchase again. Good app, would be great if they’d fix the honest issues of continuing to ask for payment when they’ve received yet don’t respond if there’s an issue. Play and or pay at your own risk. Shame on the developers which are clearly Scrooge’s 💯

Ok elf yourself is a fantastic game and is really fun to use but even when it’s fun I still have some problems with it I’ll explain elf yourself is a game where you can make 5 elf’s you get pictures of stuff you have to make them elf’s it’s a pretty nice idea with the fact that each song it is unique and really nice but I have one big problem with it I wish the dances were free yes you can argue that the developers did this to get some money but sometimes I just wish they were free I brought all 19 Dances for 5.99 and then there were four more which were 0.99 if the developers see this make where it’s free or you can make it free but for a limited amount of time

I downloaded ElfYourself two or three years ago, and without having made any purchases, it was hilarious. Then yesterday I took another look at it, and decided to buy the $5.99 dance package. I tapped the “download all” button, then went off to do something else while I waited. Today, my faces are still there, but I can’t find a way to get ElfYourself to actually work; I just get redirected to “add more elves”. I have quite enough elves! I do not want a swarm of them! Thank you.

The “App Support” button takes me to a weird no-man’s land, and tapping the developer’s name is equally unhelpful. It was encouraging to read a couple of reviews and see that the developer had responded to them. ElfYourself could be a hoot! I’m not giving up just yet!

ElfYourself is very funny. I I really like ElfYourself because you can do whoever you want to be an elf and you don't just have to go up to them and take their picture you can use pictures from a long time ago in your storage unit in the Camera app. ElfYourself must get a lot of five stars because it is super funny. ElfYourself must get a lot of good comments. But there is one complaint about ElfYourself. It's that I wish that the little seens that the elfs dance in was a lot longer. If it was longer than a lot of people would like it better. But ElfYourself is a really good app it just has two short of seens.😁😁😁👍🏻👍🏻

So I love ElfYourself it’s a great app it’s so much fun watching the elves dance I laugh all day long it’s so funny I love everything about ElfYourself until recently it’s always been fine that all of them were locked I didn’t mind that but the new update the new free song is just not as good I love the dance secret Santa but now it’s locked it’s my fav dance it makes me sad that it’s now locked so if you can plz unlock it I’m sure you understand But I do recommend you get ElfYourself it’s a great app 😉

I used to love Elf Yourself. It was super fun and funny to edit people’s faces onto the elves, and my friends and I would spend hours doing it.

I recently tried to download Elf Yourself again, only to find that it doesn’t work. I opened ElfYourself , and it asked me to allow notifications. I clicked no, and then the pop up disappeared. The screen then stayed blank and I was left sitting with a blank screen. I assumed the notifications were the problem, so I went into settings and allowed them. I refreshed ElfYourself and went back in, and was again forced to wait with a blank black screen. I’d really like to use this game again, but I’ve tried everything I can think of and I can’t get ElfYourself to load.

I’m adding on to this review after the developers responded and I reinstalled the update.
Elf yourself still does not work. I have been greeted with a blank screen once more. Don’t waste your time getting ElfYourself, you’ll just get your hopes up for nothing. I really want to play, but ElfYourself still doesn’t work.

This is one of the best Christmas apps I probably used. The one thing is they only let you make 2 different videos and you have to pay $.99 for all the other videos or you can pay for $5.99 for all the videos which I wish they would let us have six different videos to choose from and they should also come out with new videos every week. But over all this is a great app. Fun to make and send to families or to just joke around. It made my family laugh so this is great.

ElfYourself is amazing but the only thing I don’t like is you have to pay $6.99 a year for 24 videos out of 27 videos and don’t get me wrong I think the price is really good and try change the 3 free videos every day so you can see more but I think it would be better ifyou didn’t have to pay but over all ElfYourself is great and funny so if you are thinking about getting it then I think you should. 👍🏻😁

I love this game so much and I love the way that you made us able to like take pictures of ourselves or like or he put pictures of like pictures that we already have taken of that I say and that you can create like a whole elf team and they couldn’t dance so much fun I love the way that you do that and skin is so funny because like you basically get to see wait it’s like it’s like all the pictures that you put it into the bases to see like what they were dance like it’s so amazing I love this game thank you so much like so so so so so so so so much for making this gameI love it like so much I’m sorry if I said this so much but I really do and I write this game of five star and anyone else is reading this who doesn’t have this game you should get it it’s so so so amazing so yes it’s just really amazing I love this game thank you for making this game is so so so fun people who don’t have it you should download it because it’s so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛

I downloaded this game expecting to be underwhelmed. I’m an anime fan, and when I found out that I could screenshot anime characters and make them do this, I thought it was hilarious.

I showed some of my friends and some of them downloaded the game too. I love this so much and I’m planning on sending one of these to some family members this Christmas! I recommend getting this lol

ElfYourself is great! You can make up to 5 elves. First take a picture of the person you want to make an elf (you can also use old photos) then alter your photo so it will fit on the elf, next dance! After you use a face once you can click on My Faces to use it again. My Faces holds 20 of your most recently used faces. ElfYourself is so funny and I recommend making elves of your pets, it is hilarious! It’s also really funny to take pics of celebrities and making them elves! I’ve also done it with Harry Potter characters😂 Great app for family gatherings around Christmas, it gets the whole family laughing. Elf Yourself comes with 2 free dances, Hip Hop Shop is always available, then there is 1 dance you can download. I think it’s about every week they switch it up so Hip Hop Shop is still available but they give you a new dance to download, but this also means the dance you download a week before is no longer available( but this does not mean you won’t ever be able to use it again) They also have Hanukkah dances🕎 Make sure to get ElfYourself before Christmas (or at any time really) Love ElfYourself so much!!!! Merry Christmas (it’s 2 days away!!!!) Now go elf yourself! 🎅🏼

Lol ElfYourself just. When I did the beach one I was crying of laughter! It’s not even Christmas but I still got ElfYourself !! The kinda annoying thing is you only get 2 daily places or whatever, but I would say if you are a jokester or like to laugh this is DEFINITELY for you! I swear if I could rate it 1m I would do that, I just got this and I’m already in love .^.

Also for me it’s summer so, happy summer! If it’s christmas or Halloween or Easter for you happy Christmas/Halloween/Easter have a good day of laughter! :)

I really enjoy using ElfYourself but now every time I try downloading a video to see the full length of it, it says “Download failed” I thought that maybe it was that it was because “the elves are out of the building” like it says online and that ElfYourself also allows you to create videos for a limited time, but now the elves are supposedly back in the building and the same problem is still happening. Can you fix this, or is it just my device?

I spent $5 so far thinking I needed to have a Hugh resolution to have the mouth line up correctly when I downloaded. The video on ElfYourself shows no glitches; however, when I download the mouths are completely messed up. They just released an update and it still does not fix the issue. I have an iPhone 10 with all the updates, so I know it isn’t due to compatibility.

So I spent 7.99 to get access to 19 dances. So far I have only been successful with exactly 1 dance. The other attempts resulted in many outcomes. It acted like it was finished downloading a dance to my camera roll, but then there was nothing saved. Another ended in a saved dance, but with no audio. One save was quite quick, and then another took 4-5 minutes. All with no audio. Also I can’t swipe up to get out of ElfYourself unless I first put my phone to sleep and then wake it up again and only then can I swipe up. 7.99 was way too much to pay for only one successful save of a dance. SO MANY BUGS. PLEASE REFUND. BUYER BEWARE!

I would love for people to get ElfYourself but the only thing that is wrong is that I don’t wanna waist all that money just for a game and I feel ashamed bc when you can’t buy anything you just have to free videos but it’s your choice so I won’t make the game worse for you and I don’t want to disappoint you so I will leave you to it and maybe one day you will read this and fix it but the rest this game is awesome! 💗💗💗 and ElfYourself just has really short Sean’s so it’s you choice sorry for complaining 😁😁😁 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and not to be rude but no one would waste there money on that stuff soooo..... I will wait and see what happens I’m still counting on ElfYourself to do a better job 😜 and I would recommend to get ElfYourself it is really fun and awesome stay strong and believe in your dreams have a good. I only rated this 5 star so more people would see it. When you look at this game you probably think, oh, that looks fun, but when you actually press on it and download it, everything cost money. I played this game with my cousin a long time ago and everything was free but 2 or 3 games, but when I looked at it today, everything but one cost money. I’m disappointed in the authors for this. They’re making kids who want to play this game, who also might be using their parents phone, spend money on something that shouldn’t cost as much as it does. I recommend deleting ElfYourself and downloading Jibjab, it is so much better and I’m pretty sure everything good on there is free, unlike ElfYourself. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I was on elf yourself and I was making elf’s out of my family and as I played one of the songs that were for free I was watching the video and saw my little sister have a glitch on her face. When I saved the video to my camera roll I played it and stopped the video at the right moment and was terrified for what I had saw. It was a mans face on my sisters face. That was the glitch I saw. I had a feeling someone was watching me through my camera. Or hacking me. Who ever created ElfYourself is most likely responsible for this and is rather watching you or someone is hacking and watching us. Be careful guys. If I could rate it 0 stars I would!

I say that ElfYourself is just a complete waste of space. You know why because after the first two times of making your own it’s so boring. Also you need to pay to get new songs, backgrounds and stupid stuff that no one would waste hard worked money on. When I got this I was disappointed I only had two background and one song it was really annoying having the same background and same music also everyone around you if you don’t have ear buds in or head phones my parents got really annoyed with it along with my siblings. I really don’t like this don’t recommend downloading.

I really like ElfYourself. It only takes a few seconds to make a funny little video instead of taking hours to make it yourself. It’s also a very funny app too, since the dances are pretty crazy but hilarious. But there is just one problem. It’s the selection. It’s disappointing that you can only choose from 2 videos. After that, it gets boring. You should at least make it so that we have 5 to choose from. It won’t be so boring. You have so many dances, so why not have more than 2 free ones?

I really like this game and its really funny!!!! But you only get 2 dances free!! And I’m getting bored of the same dances. And I don’t want to spend the money. Because after Christmas I will probably get ride of this game. But if you didn’t have to pay money I would download it again next year, you really need to change this!! I downloaded this Christmas app to make funny videos with my family. But there are a few issues. There is only one free video you can make. But the rest are 5.99. Of course nobody wants to spend that on a short Christmas video. The bug is that when I try to download the video and ad pops up, even though over and over I keep pressing the upload button. Overall I wouldn’t say it’s that bad.
