What is DOT Billetter? DOT Tickets is a mobile app that allows users to purchase commuter cards and tickets for journeys on Zealand, Lolland, Falster, and Møn. The app is developed by Din Offentlige Transport (DOT) and is owned by DOT. DOT ensures the collaboration between DSB, Movia, and Metroselskabet to help create a better and more cohesive public transport system in the region.

- Purchase tickets with 2-8 zones, tickets for more than 8 zones between a departure and arrival zone, commuter cards, commuter card Metro add-on, commuter card DSB 1’ Regional Train add-on, bicycle ticket (Short, medium and long), Supplementary Ticket for Commuter Card (1 zone), DSB 1’ Regional Trains supplementary ticket, City Pass Small for zone 1-4 (24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours), City Pass Large for zone 1-99 (24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours), City Pass X-Large for zone 1-299 (24 hours), City Pass West for zone 101-199 (24 hours), and City Pass South for zone 201-299 (24 hours).
- Payment can be made by MobilePay or payment card. Users can save their payment card details and access them via Touch ID, Face ID, or a PIN code chosen by them.
- Payment cards accepted include Visa/Dankort, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, and Maestro.
- Supplementary Ticket for Commuter Card (1 zone) is only valid with a valid commuter card. Users can select the zone by tapping the map, and the zone must be adjacent to the validity area on their commuter card.
- Users are reminded to buy their mobile ticket before starting their journey.

I like to take periodic trips to Skåne to visit the countryside. Skånetraffiken’s app allows me to choose my street in Copenhagen and my destination in Skåne and even gives me instructions on which bus/trains to take to get there and back. DOT doesnt even allow you to pick a destination in Skåne (as far as I can see).
All the effort for a new app and their app is still not as good as Skåne’s. Why dont you call the public xsit dep in Skåne and ask them who made their app?

I’m not really sure how well DOTBilletter works, my INTERNATIONAL visa credit card, which I’ve been using 10 times a day successfully in Copenhagen, is denied by DOTBilletter for security reasons. My credit card company was never asked to validate the charge, DOTBilletter never tried and so I’m riding the bus for free today

I never got to use DOTBilletter myself because it would not accept any of my card payments. I had my friend purchase my tickets the entire time I was in Copenhagen.

DOTBilletter does not let you enter a non Danish phone number to access DOTBilletter . It keeps coming up with error messages. What a shame.

I love the concept of DOTBilletter, it's simple and neat; but severely lacks periodic updates. About 90% of the time it simply will not open past the splash screen and the other 10% it actually loads, but takes about a minute to open up and display the month pass. I urge the programmers to do a complete overhaul of this otherwise great app. Until then DOTBilletter will remain ad a 1 star app!

DOTBilletter gives you the option to enter an address to the U.S. But will never let you go to the next screen. Why do you make it so hard for me to give you my money? I just want to pay. There are no error messages. Filling out the fields also pops up your keyboard, which blocks half of the screen, hiding the fields you are populating. Terrible design.

Crappy upgrade. App didn't load so I have to pay twice; once for the periodekort, and again for a ticket that'll actually get me on the bus/train. Thanks for nothing.

I got DOTBilletter to accept my US phone number, and two hours later, I’m still waiting for the text message to confirm my phone number. Went back and triple-checked the phone number, and asked for a new code a few times; no dice. Glad I didn’t try this while waiting for the bus.
There’s an old version of DOTBilletter that used to work great. I’m sure this will too, once it gets over the starting hill. Good luck.

Den starter op, men lukker så ned, ved dobbelt klik på Home knappen, kan man så komme ind i app'en, men den er låst og der kan ikke navigeres rundt.

Bortset fra mit periode kort forsvandt et par minutter efter der var købt, men de var meget søde og hjælpsomme da jeg ringede til dem for at høre hvad der skete, stjerner bliver ændret når det kommer til at funke på min telefon når deres eksperter kommer på arbejde igen :) og 5 stjerner når der kommer iPhone 5 version

I’ve been using it for 4 years straight. I really like the new version, but why on earth the starting date is the first working day of the week for the new pendlerkort? I just have spent 850 kroner only to find myself without a ticket, because it didn’t even occur to me that the default value for the starting date might be anything other than todays date!
I can’t say it ruined my day, but the experience could be better.

We bought five event tickets. QR Code on the phone everything fine. When we had a ticket control in the train, we could not open the app. Several passengers on the train with the same problem ... the controller eas friendly and knew the issue with the app.
