Egenda - Homework Manager Reviews

Egenda is amazing and is so helpful! For the past couple of years I’ve hopped back and forth planners and different homework apps but never stuck with one more then a couple of months because it was ok but not good enough. Egenda however is a lot easier to use, notifies me how many assignments are due the next day, it lets me view my assignments as a whole or individually. The calendar is also a very nice feature. Most apps I’ve used have one but the nice thing about this calendar is that 1. It shows me the little dots on what days I have homework and 2. The dots are color coded to whatever color that class has. The only thing that I would like to see is recurring assignments. I have to do French homework every Friday for the entire year, however I can’t seem to make it so I can tell the assignment to repeat every day, week, month, etc. and it’s kinda irritating that I either have to create a brand new assignment every week or make them all at once or go back to a planner or my reminders that come with the phone. If that could be added Egenda would be PERFECT 👌 that and maybe some personalizations around Egenda like themes and profile pics too.

Egenda is amazing! I’m always are late to my homework assignment, test, quiz, and a project but Egenda is incredible! I started off with a different app but you have to pay, but this one is incredibly free! And u can add how many classes u need! The way that they categorize your assignments are amazing! It’s so neat and easy access! Also the bad reviews are prob glitches because mine worked completely fine, and this is my second day using it. Egenda reminds me on time when I settled it the first day! Every time at 3:20 I get an alert! And that’s how Ik it’s time to get working on these hw assignments. Now I’m always turning my hw and things on time! Now maybe after like 3-5 days it’ll promote me to pay to continue, but when (if) that happens I will edit this review and state what happens. But so far for these two days it’s been great! I love Egenda so much! This is the only app I would actually pay for because of its service so far! It’s amazing how it doesn't promote you the first couple of days! But that’s all I have to say so far! Have a wonderful day everyone who’s reading this and u may be blessed! <3

No in-app purchases, not bloated. Simple, gets the job done, no weird UI. Can be used for many purposes. I’m not one to plan out my life with calendars, checklists or agendas, but I really just need an agenda. Trying to think of a complaint, I steered towards adding an option to specify the time something is due, but upon review I think it’s best there isn’t one. You can just use the notes section instead & click on the event to view the notes….. and for people like me, not having the exact time something is due immediately disclosed serves to discourage me from procrastinating.

I digress. Personally I believe this app might end up changing my life if I can devote myself properly. Diligently I will add “Homework, Quiz, Project, and Test” to my Schedule until every last one Done, void, swiped left, and I will keep adding and adding duties to my Schedule, and thus unto my ever multiplying number of “Classes” until there is nothing more to be done in this world.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like I have to for this. I’m in Highschool currently and once I got in the habit of using this, I rarely ever forgot assignments. I use it to plan non-school related things too just as a remind system. The design is really well done and I love how organized it is. Highly recommend Egenda.

The one thing I do wish Egenda had was the ability to easily specify what time you want to be reminded, individually, for each assignment. I also wish there was an icon on the main page that shows you’ve written an extra note on a particular assignment. Egenda can also be a little annoying to navigate at times, and changing the due-date on an assignment is more difficult than you’d expect. These are all pretty small things though.

Overall, (and yes I’m actually a genuine person recommending this here), I would say this is definitely one of the better homework apps out there.

Im a sophomore in high school,i play school sports and outside of school sports,most days I practice 2-3 times a day.I recently downloaded because I was trying out different apps to make me more organized just bc i could never keep a planner organized. To start out it is really easy to set up i could barley say it took 5 minutes,and adding assignments is so easy compared to other simular apps. During the past month i have only experienced one bad thing,you cant repeat assignments without putting it in multiple times. For example i get new vocab every monday and i have to do different worksheets to help study it i cant put the down assignment for every monday and have to manually type it...other than that I haven’t come across a feature that i need to pay for unlike most other apps,everything is color coded,and Egenda is very organized, And overall a good app for busy students

So Egenda is absolutely amazing. I no longer am forgetting a binder in my locker because it's so easy to check what assignments I have. It's also a great thing because I ALWAYS have my phone on me, so it will remind me to stop procrastinating and do my homework. I only have two complaints. Reoccurring Assignments: many people including myself have reoccurring quizzes every Friday or homework, etc. I would love to be able to enter it and see if for the whole year. Checking off Assignments: I'm not sure if this is just me, but I CANNOT find a way to check off my homework. I wish there was like a checkbox or something I could click and Egenda would tell me that I completed the assignment and turned it in. For now, I've been putting green check box emojis on the assignment description, but it would be cool if I could legitimately check off my assignments.

Egenda has really guided me through the haplessness of online schooling! I love how cleanly Egenda is organized where I can manage assignments without thought, and the improvements in productivity I’ve experienced since I’ve downloaded it. However, I think every app has its flaws, so I’d like to suggest a few improvements of which I’m sure have been mentioned before in other reviews.

1) “Select Time” Feature.
There are many assignments I’ve had that due at a specific time of day. It would be extremely helpful if this option was added to Egenda to help maintain my assignments more efficiently.

2) “Order” Option
So often I’ll have a list of assignments due on the same exact day. This suggestion coincides with the one above. I wish that the work due soonest would be displayed first in the list. It bugs me so much at times that I will edit the assignments to conform with my personal priority.

3) Notifications
I’m not too ecstatic about the current notification setup. It would be a bit more practical to manage notification times for each assignment rather than all of them as a whole.

Other than that, Egenda is absolutely wonderful! As someone who struggles with constant procrastination I‘ve found Egenda to be an everyday life-saver. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get back on their feet and manage their time profitably.

I’ve been looking for an app like this and all of the other apps have made me buy a free trial, but Egenda doesn’t. It is easy to work and is very helpful. I was looking at the reviews and thought they were just some robots so I got Egenda and let me tell you, they aren’t robots. (well maybe some MDISKWNBDKSJSBSKSKBWHDG)

you get to make the names of the classes which i really liked because in some other apps they only had a few options to choose from. It looks like a calendar but very simple and not overwhelming. you can also choose when it reminds you to do your homework; i really like that feature because you can take a little break after school. it also works if you take a nap or accidentally fall asleep it reminds you.

this app is a very good agenda app where you can create multiple subjects, homework, quiz’s, tests, and projects. You can also change the color of the subject to tell them a part and it makes it more fun. I used it for 2 years already and it helped me control my time while doing homework. It also tells you what you have to complete. Once you're done, you can swipe left and click the done button summiting your work. They do not have any ads like the other apps. You do not need to pay for it. It’s all free.

One thing I recommend is that in the test, quiz, project, homework section, they add a reminder, or a remembering section. Or they can add a extra important or a start or something to see that you have to get that done soon.

Otherwise, this is a very good app and I recommend it.

Egenda is amazing! i’ve been using it ever since last august. it’s the only online agenda that actually works for me. recently, because of the corns virus pandemic, my school has switched to doing online work. now that i have a ton of different work for different classes that needs to be sent in at completely different times Egenda is 100x more helpful and i rely on it a lot more. i have absolutely no complaints, just one request. in Egenda where you select wether an assignment is homework, project, etc., it would be helpful if you added an extra credit option. As a result of my school work being online i have a lot of extra credit work and without this option it sometimes gets confusing. Thank you for the amazing app!!

I really love Egenda I am a high school student doing work during quarantine and Egenda just keeps me organized. It reminds me the day before something is die and every class has a color. Though the bad side of Egenda is that some of the colors look alike wish they had more. I also with they made it so I could sync this to my apple calendar so it’s on my iPad too. I also wish they made a section for class work though it is for after school I think i would like a section for class work instead of labeling work as homework. Otherwise Egenda is great for keeping me together. I look forward to using Egenda through college and med school and an hoping what they do next will make me love Egenda even more.!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a college senior and I've been using Egenda since junior year of high school. It has served me perfectly over the years and made school much more manageable. Egenda really stands out because of its simplistic design. There's not tons of unnecessary features that make things more complicated, just the important stuff. Just an all-around amazing app for school organization at any level.

The only thing I wish was different is that there are only four categories for assignments: project, test, quiz, and homework. These four are generally enough, but I think more categories like essay, final exam, midterm exam, or even a custom entry option would be helpful. This is a minor complaint though, Egenda is great! HIGHLY recommended.

Egenda is well designed and functional. I am a full time school teacher, have another part time commitment, and am taking graduate classes. My regular calendar is so full of meetings and appointments that I was losing track of my graduate school assignments. Egenda has a nice, clean interface that makes it easy to see what I have due and when.

Like other reviewers, I would like to see the option to set individual reminders for assignments. Even though my assignments are submitted online and usually due by midnight, it would be nice to be able to set individual reminder times.

Another feature I would like to see is the ability to sync Egenda across platforms. I have an iPhone, an iPad Pro, and a MacBook Air. It would be nice to be able to create or edit an assignment on one device and have it populate across all my devices.

Egenda is really great to keep track of each individual assignment instead of having to go on apps such as google classroom, and canvas which are connected to your teachers and see older assignments and be confused on which to do. But I don’t understand who to mark the assignments as done, I finish an assignment on google classroom, or canvas and then a few days later it will say the assignment is overdue on this Agenda app, which really confuses me so I have no idea how I’m supposed to mark assignments as done. I also wish that Egenda would notify me more than one time for each assignment because that leads me to forget throughout the week then I get a notification the day before it is due. Other than those to issues Egenda is very useful, maybe Egenda already has those things and I just don't notice so if that is the case can someone please respond.

Very simple and easy to use. I was trying to find a good app to organize my projects so I downloaded about 10 or so of these types of apps. This one was clearly the best as all the others were very complicated and required you to pay for things like extra classes. I love the way Egenda lets you organize by class AND by the due date as many others only let you add assignments to certain dates and not by the class they are for. -- The only things I would like to see is an option to add pictures to the notes section when adding an assignment instead of having to type it, and more colors for assignments so I dont have to repeat colors-- thats all! 5 stars

Egenda helped me so much with my school work and made me improve my grade and actually get stuff done and not forgetting about assignments or homework's and then get an F on that work. I love how I can add other classes at anytime. This was the most helpful app I had gotten but I have a few suggestions. No.1 there can be a motivational quote when you open Egenda so you can be motivated to do work. No.2 is there should be a timer on how long you should work then go on a break. For the work timer the minimum can be 5 minutes and the maximum can be an hour. For the break minimum 3 minutes and maximum 10 minutes. This is all I have for recommendation's and for my review. :)

Egenda is amazing at helping me stay organized for school. I am currently in middle school and have a lot of work. This makes sure I turn in everything on time to get the easy points on assignments. The reason I only gave this 4 stars is because there is no place to put your schedule. As a student it is important to make sure you are where you need to be on time and with a schedule this would make Egenda that much better. I also think if you add Egenda to multiple devices you should be able to just transfer your assignments, and not have to rewrite them. I think this because it takes up a lot of time. Overall this is a great app to help student stay more organized!

Egenda is really amazing, as a Junior in high school with lots of homework and assignments as well as quizzes etc. I have a hard time managing all the things we have due, but thanks to Egenda I can finally manage to keep things in order and stay on top of my assignments, especially since my school no longer gives us agendas. The only suggestion I would give is to allow us to move assignments on how urgent they are, sometimes I have an assignment that I need to put at the top of one day and another at the top of another date but it seems to organize them in alphabetical order instead of importance or which is added first. Overall it’s a great app, 10/10.

Everything works really well and I like the chance to customize things with colors and everything. There are 2 things I would change: I would add a time aspect. Some of my assignments are due at specific times and the easiest way to note that in Egenda is to put it in the comments and then you have to open each assignment to view the times. The second thing I would change is the opportunity for something other than a school assignment. I know there are other apps for that but it would be nice if I could put something like "meet with so-and-so at this time" in Egenda because it works so well with school assignments and because most of the time my meetings are school-related.

This is a very productive app. I just recently downloaded Egenda, and it is so helpful. Although I think some things could be added to make it a be BETTER, nothing is missing from necessary functions.
If any of Egenda designing team wants some helpful tips, maybe look into these-

- reminders to ADD homework.
- I often forget to actually add the homework for class so having that reminder set up could be helpful

- archive old assignments
- instead of simply deleting them, it may be helpful to have a “completed work” file or something so that you don’t have to look through all your work to make sure something has been completed or turned in.

I cherish Egenda after only a few weeks, and I’ve already recommended it to other people and I’ve heard no complaints. It’s very simple so anyone can follow the set up. It helps people that are already SUPER ORGANIZED to become even better, and us who aren’t super organized to keep ourselves together! Best app of this kind I’ve found- and I have looked, believe me.

This is an awesome app. I have been using it since the start of the school year. When my friends complain that they lose their paper agenda’s I tell them to download this. It’s super easy to use and the classes are an amazing part of Egenda. The one thing that I don’t like is that you can’t see past assignments that you have completed. Once you swipe done there is no way to recover the assignment. Our school uses Canvas for posting assignments and homework. Canvas is sort of hard to navigate so it is kind of a pain to have to go back through it to find what homework was assigned. Overall this is an awesome app and I would definitely recommend it!

I really love Egenda, and it helps me with my homework a lot, but it has some things that would make Egenda even better. I think you should be able to say when your classes are, and get a reminder a certain time that you set before that class starts. The other things is, the notifications only say “# Assignments Due Tomorrow”, and I don’t think that this is very helpful. It should specify what assignments are due. Also, I forget about those notifications, because it doesn’t show the little red dot with the number in it on Egenda . I thought it was a setting of mine, but I’m not sure if it is, or how to fix it if the problem is because of my phone. Overall, great app, but needs some additions.

Back in middle school, I was diagnosed with a bit of ADHD. I was never able to remember to write in planners and agendas. (I honestly owe my mom about $100 worth of unused agendas HAHA) I tried to use Notes and Reminders but they never really caught on because I hated the format of it. (I’ve always liked the format that Egenda uses.)

So that’s why I was really scared to start high school, because I knew I would never remember things. And that’s when I found Egenda.

I’m a couple weeks into high school now, and Egenda is super helpful!! The format is great, and it’s super simple and easy to use. It’s honestly so underrated. I’m doing pretty well in my freshman year, and most of it is credit to Egenda. Thanks!!

I absolutely love Egenda! It helps to keep all of my assignments organized and in place! I have tried using a paper planner before but I always either lost it or it sat in my backpack unused. I love being able to keep track of everything including homework, tests, quizzes, and projects on my phone (since that is where I spend most of my time) The calendar is also an amazing feature that has been very successful to me throughout using Egenda! The color-coding also helps me to organize everything I need to do by priority! Overall I would definitely recommend Egenda for anyone who is looking for a great mobile planner!

This has helped me throughout the better half of my high school career and I'd like to list my personal pros and cons with Egenda.

Pros:
- Overall intuitive format

- Ability to differentiate different assignments (ex. Tests, Quiz, Homework, Project)

- Color-coding

- 2 formats for schedule (One that lets you view all of your classes, one that shows you all upcoming assignments)
- - The first format sets a intuitive priority system based on it's due date. This makes it very easy to set priorities instead of stressing over where to start

- Ability to see all completed assignments

- Ability to set due dates (More of a
necessity than a pro)

- Can switch to European Date format at the flip of a switch

Cons:
- Ability to set just one alarm time

- Unclear way to delete assignments (You have to 'Complete' it, go into Completed Work, then delete it)

Overall, it's a spectacular app. I couldn't get through Freshman and Sophomore year without these apps. The pros are substantial and the cons aren't as considerable.

9.5/10 Absolute necessity of you're a student.

I’ve used this for around a year, and it really helped me with my organization with homework. this app lets me assign task to separate classes with different colors, so it can make it easier to know what that assignment is for. I can get notified earlier before the assignment reaches it due date. The only thing I would like Egenda to add is the option other because it would be much more helpful when I need it to turn a slip in, notify my parents about something, student council work, and etc. Overall, Egenda is very useful for school, and I would recommend Egenda 100% to people who needs help on staying track with tasks.

So far, Egenda has been very useful for me. Everything works just as advertised, and I have been pretty happy with how it works. I would just like to change the order of my assignments and.
For example, I have to study for a vocabulary test, which I have to do BEFORE the test. However, on Egenda , the quiz comes before studying? Even though I made the study notification first?
I’d also like to create our own colors to identify the different subjects, please! I know I’m being picky, but that makes it easier for me, if I make a specific color for everything.
Other than that, Egenda is SUPER helpful. I love it!

I just want to give a big thank you to the creators of Egenda. It's really refreshing to have an app where you don't have to pay unreasonable amounts to access Egenda 's main purpose or to get any productivity from Egenda . I definitely appreciate it.

I also appreciate the clean user interface and I find it super easy and even enjoyable to use!

I would add that it would be helpful to be able to set additional reminders for certain assignments, and maybe a way to prioritize certain items. But overall, Thank you for this free (almost too good to be true) app!

I find Egenda helpful, since I found myself not checking my written planner, and it’s nice to have it easy to access! My only request is that the notifications are updated. I don’t find it helpful to see ‘[number] assignments due tomorrow’. For one, I would like to see the title of the assignment I entered in the notification, so I can just check and see how important it is. Secondly, I know it all depends on the person’s set notification time, but the fact that there’s only a ‘due tomorrow’ notification can make it difficult for those who are forgetful, since then it makes it so they’re reminded at last minute, which is discouraged. Overall a good app, though. Thank you!

I got Egenda a couple days ago actually and it is great. I am in the 6th grade and I didn’t want to write everything in my regular calendar because I thought it would get messy, and it did. I wanted to find an app that made my life easier and hassle - free. I was looking up agenda apps and this was the first one. Now, I normally never tap the first app, but this one looked promising. I got Egenda and it has changed my life. I never have to go looking through my calendar anymore! Hallelujah! Overall, you should get Egenda because it is flat out amazing. Great features, great organization, and great overall app.
