1) Does not read scanned receipts despite claiming to do so.
2) Arbitrarily changes eligibility dates for claims (may be an administrative issue not an app issue but customers should be notified through SpendingAccount )
3) Signed up for direct deposit over a year ago and I’m still getting checks despite multiple calls to customer service in which they assured me this had been remedied.
4)Bad layout/claim interface: Dates of service should not be at the top before your invoice is even entered, leads to accidentally skipped entries that waste time.
5) Seems like flaws are suspiciously intended to facilitate claim delays and denials.
6)Gets 1 star instead of 0 because it’s still easier than making claims over the phone.
I don’t use SpendingAccount often, but every time I do, there is some new feature that doesn’t work. I logged in and SpendingAccount wanted me to change my password. Usually this part is difficult, but I managed to get past this. As soon as you change, you need to log in again. Annoying, but not unusual. I logged in and it asks you to select a method of verifying and says it cares about my security. The page turns white and nothing shows up. No selection to text or email. There is a number to call for help and the assistance is direction to access from a PC. I have the mobile app on my mobile device but I can’t use it because I’m apparently not seeing enough of the screen to make a selection to verify my identity so I need to find a pc to access the mobile app. Makes no sense.
I don’t think you should have to turn in proof every time you use the card in regards to monthly recurring charges. I have a few appointments or medications that I fill every month for the same thing even at the same price. Why do you need proof 12 times a year for the exact same charges?
Decent software for filing claims once you can log in. The last two times I have tried to log in my Face ID was turned off by SpendingAccount and when I logged in via user name and password my password was not accepted so I had to request password change and answer 3 questions and then create a new password, log in and turn Face ID back on. It took longer to log in than it did to submit 3 claims! 2 stars is generous!
The frequency of the password reset is ridiculous. My bank and cc are this secure. And the fact that it doesn’t allow phone or other password savers to store your credentials makes me have to reset my pad almost every time.
Overall SpendingAccount is pretty easy to use. One area that could be improved though is having SpendingAccount remember a profile(s) for your dependent care provider(s). It’s a pain to have to type in the provider name and Tax ID number every time you are making a claim!
Interface is a little old school and clunky but is straightforward and works well enough
SpendingAccount has great functionality and ease of use. You can make contributions for prior years up to tax time, or make for current year. Linking transactions to your bank account makes it easy and efficient.
Easy to upload receipts and transfer money to my account directly. Love that I can have my receipts on file just in case I need to reference them.
SpendingAccount is very intuitive to use and extremely convenient to upload and submit documentation or receipts.
I love SpendingAccount & the ease to submit and get reimbursed. The only improvement I would recommend is to allow SpendingAccount to remember the user name for the ease to login
I primarily use to cover my monthly Medicare Advantage Plan premiums. Easy request form and quick receipt upload. Payments directly to my checking account is a plus!
It’s easy to upload and store receipts to then use for filing claims later. You can also take a picture of you receipts and attach to your claim. Very easy to use.
You can easily upload receipts and attach them to the charges as they come in and if you forget to use your FSA card, you can submit a payback to yourself very easily
The application is very simple and easy to navigate with user functionality available on the right portions of the screen some people complain. It does have minimal applications. The website applications is a better version. SpendingAccount is quick and easy to use in a pinch upload receipts file claims. I have not any issues utilize any app, downloading it
SpendingAccount makes using this FSA card so easy. Take a picture of your receipt, save it in your receipt organizer & you never have to worry about finding an old receipt if they need “documentation“ later. Which all FSA’s do!
Good customer service they've always been quick and efficient. SpendingAccount is simple and easy to use. The reimbursement process was easy to use and I’ve had no issues with this account.
So great and easy to navigate. Can transfer funds quickly and easily to my account for reimbursement purposes and the money transfers quickly. Love the investment portion of my account and that I set the limits. Can easily see all disbursements and deposits and the biometrics for app opening works great.
Using the Spending Account app on my phone to access my Cone Health benefits has mad managing our family’s health benefits fast & easy. Anytime I’ve called to get help with resetting a password or had any other question, the call center member has been courteous and helpful, professional, and patient in helping address my needs. I really appreciate their attention & eagerness to help.
