The title says it all.

Only shows a static photo of a train. I first thought it needs some time to load and the photo is a splash screen, but until now I never got past the photo. It has changed once, though, so now I see a different picture of a train. I forgot about Thalys (my next this app travel is still a few weeks away), but today Thalys sent me a notification that I have the chance to win something. I checked if it works now, but no, there is still only a picture of a train.

So: not good for train travel or ticket management. Great if you like to stare at images of trains and get the occasional spam notification.

Thalys has the potential to be quite useful but in its current incarnation its rubbish. Why do I need to sign in EVERY SINGLE TIME? Why do I have to remember a ten digit number so I can log onto this app card? Why doesn't Thalys remember? Why do I have to choose my country and language EVERY SINGLE TIME? Either fix this crap or allow me to send the tickets to passbook on the phone so I can access them when I want without having to consistently put in the Sam information over and over again.

For sure the developers of this application are not actually traveling the this app. The application needs a permanent Internet connection, as it can't store the actual tickets. So if you need to show your ticket to the controller and are out of a connection, well to bad for you. You need to constantly enter your password (it doesn't remember it), there's no Touch ID support, no iPhone 6 resolution support, no iPad support.

You have to be connected to the internet to access your ticket. No internet, no ticket. This put me in a bad situation on the train when the controller asked to see my ticket in the train as I had no access to the internet.

Also, you have to sign in each time you use Thalys . If you have a The Card number you have to look it up and enter it for each use.

Terrible.

App crashes and freezes a lot. Also when booking on the website you're able to include seat preferences and here you cannot.
Oddly when I put in my dates when the following screen came up, my dates changed without my doing. If I wasn't paying attention it could have derailed (pun intended) my whole trip!

Definitely needs more work this app.

1 star, only because 0 isn’t an option. Here’s two hints, 1) It should load immediately, not after 15 min or 10 retries. 2) Once loaded, it should know that I already logged in, multiple times. Finally, why do I need a this app no. and a separate this app Card no? Don’t answer, just fix it. In the meantime I’ll use email for etickets and the website for booking. Seriously, this thing is... choisissez un gros mot préféré.

I downloaded this to store my ticket for a AMS - Paris trip. It logs you out automatically (not sure if it’s time based or when you go to another app) so when the conductor came I had to log back in. Since I didn’t have service , I eventually just got the the .pdf from my inbox. I can’t imagine a more useless app has clearly not been user or bug tested .

I've just downloaded Thalys and it works, i can login with my details and see all my bookings. I don't agree with the other comments

Be aware that Thalys is not working with the this app website. Does not recognize accounts or bookings numbers. For example: still need to fill in all accounts details in the Q&A section,when you are logged in.
Doesn't recognize your account.
But you have an option to write a letter and send by snail mail.

It allows you to get your tickets, but has tendency to reset booking date and time when going back a screen. You need to keep an eye on what train you are booking when you navigate screens. It is easy to book the wrong train with no refund available.

Buggy as hell and unreliable just like the wifi on the train. Another word to use would be hopeless. I constantly have to re-enter information that's in my profile. Why do you want us to build a profile if that same information has to be re-entered for every trip book. PATHETIC and HOPELESS.

My ticket disappeared from Thalys shortly after my departure time on the train. I suppose it reasoned I would not need this ticket anymore, but as anyone who has ridden a train before knows, typically the ticket check happens after the train has left the station!

Luckily I had screenshotted my ticket so I was not completely caught off guard by this bug. But really? Bad design.

I have created an account. I have booked some tickets through the this app website using that account. I try to view my account using Thalys . I enter my user ID and password. Many times. Every time I get “incorrect or missing information”. Not wanting to prove the definition of insanity, I stopped trying.

Tickets purchased dont sync with Thalys for a month now. Super slow to open.
No possibility to change tickets through Thalys as it was possible 6 months ago. Please swap to old version that was way more functional than the new one.

Fine to collect electronic tickets already booked, however the date selector does not work on the iPhone app so it’s impossible to book tickets through Thalys at the moment. This needs to be fixed.

If you have more than one ticket, going back is supposed to be via a back arrow, but hat is hidden by the top banner. Had to go to another tab on the bottom and then back to the tickets section.

I have yet to succeed in see my bookings in Thalys and this new version has not changed things one bit.

The bloody thing does not even try, I get a "data synchronisation error" as soon as I touch the "m'y tickets" button.

I would give it negative stars if that existed.

Overall ok app. But I've been waiting 2 years for this app to make Apple wallet available for trains to or from Amsterdam, like it already is for other destinations. Still nothing.

This application is so buggy it is funny. But it is also hopeless:
Impossible to import a ticket I bought on captain train despite having the res number from this app, numerous crashes and stability issues, pretty much counter intuitive.
Hopefully the train is engineered better than Thalys .
