Literally the WORST

Honestly, just get rid of BankofGuam itself. Literal garbage, it’s like these “issues” we all face arent being resolved and I think their could honestly care less. We do nothing, but fill their pockets. I’ve had BankofGuam for awhile now and on so many occasions I’ve tried to check my transactions and they’re always “pending” even when the transactions are from a day or two ago, and don’t get me started with the Mobile Check Deposit feature. When I deposit a check in, only half of it goes through, then I have to wait 2-3 days and the other half will go through. It infuriates me so much because then, I’ll always be short and the available balance will never be for sure because some transactions won’t go through until days later. All in all, worst banking app. Pretty sure that the chances of me getting hacked are a million in a million…

Issues

The $3.00 monthly deduction doesn't make sense. Doesn't matter if there's $2.00 in the account, the bank would still take and make the account go negative. Ridiculous.
Countless times I've updated my number and email, but when i log in, it always shows my old number from 5 years ago, which I no longer use but BankofGuam never updated my new number and email. Especially for the secure log in options, you give me options to send the secure access codes to my old number. Which doesn't make sense because I updated it as soon as my number changed. Worst online banking experience.

Not satisified

I do not like the fact that we can swipe our card and few days later the transaction records kicks in. Sometimes, result overdraft or charge our accounts. I have issues withe my card. I have money in it. I would go to payless or Ross to buy. after swipping my card, it will ask if Us Debit or US visa. I pick either one, it will pop up again and give me the opposite option. then i have no choice but click on US or Debit. If debit, it will tell me to input pin. If US Credit, both will show "transaction not approve". I reported to the bank but they would tell me no issues showing on their end.

Obsolete technology, poor service

Everything is more difficult with BankofGuam then it should be, and it gives error messages that make no sense for what is actually going on. I frequently have to contact my business representative at the bank to figure out what’s going on, at which point he explains that the error message actually has absolutely nothing to do with the actual problem. BankofGuam (and BoG online banking in general) is seriously behind the times, significantly outdated technology.

Improvement

Need to improve the online banking transactions especially the day of the purchase not that we see the balance on our account 2days after. It’s so frustrating we’re expecting we still have money but in the end we end up paying $30 because of the over drawn or the money we spend thinking we still have balance . Need to update your system! During the night transaction was too slow

Review of BOG Mobile App

For a little while now it appears that times trying to login takes a great amount of time to even just get to the login. Most times I’ve given up on opening the Mobile App. Am I the only one who experience this situation? On another matter I linked EZ card which is tied in with my BOG credit card for quicker and easier access. With the BOG Mobile App initially it appeared fine and then in the next day or so it advised me that there’s a problem and that it is not a valid link or something to that affect. Hopefully these matters can be cleared up to make for an easier and not so frustrating use of the mobile app. Thank you for your consideration and attention to this matter. Good app; but could be better

Pretty good app since downloading. I use it quite often. I suggest adding which card or cardholder made a transaction, especially on joint accounts. My other banking app has it and it is extremely helpful. Also, I don’t know if anyone else has been having an issue with mobile deposits, but I can’t get past the user agreement and there is no way to go back except close BankofGuam and reopen.

More Functions

1. When making payments to loan, there should be an option to make principal-only payments.

2. There is also no way way to see the the current interest balance. BankofGuam only shows total accrued including interest that has already been paid which can be confusing to the general user.

3. When paying off a loan, the payoff amount should be displayed for the customer. It only shows principal balance, thus misleading customers and shorting the payoff amount.

Bank of Guam is pushing for more of the online experience. As a frequent user of BankofGuam and my knowledge of banking. These kinds of information and functionality should be readily available for the Bank’s goals and customer’s convenience. I hope to see these updates to be included in future development. All in all, great app.

Crashes

Ever since I updated BankofGuam and my iOS to the latest, it has been crashing just from opening BankofGuam . I thought it was my phone so I deleted BankofGuam and redownloaded but the same problem occurred. Also my moms own account on her phone had the same issues. Although we can check it on our computers it’s way more convenient to have our bank account on hand. Please fix

No Action?

App hasn't been accessible for over 2wks with loads of pleas to the developers to fix the issue. App’s rating is dropping fast per day due the the lack of action and lack of communication from BoG. It was so perfect but now I’m very disappointed that they haven’t corrected the problem(s) yet. O was sure it would be handled by now. UPDATE: 3wks later the issues are resolved. Thank you! We all hope the reaction time improves next time.

Good app but...

I’m having trouble trying to deposit my checks as the loading screen goes to the terms and agreements, and then only loads half the page and stays on it. The number pad to enter the check amount doesn’t show and neither does the camera capture features, it just stays on the half loaded terms and agreements page.

Thank you for the Online banking and BankofGuam. There are times I forget if I paid my bills, because of this I can just open BankofGuam and check if i swiped my card at the branches. I always keep my receipt, but this time I misplaced it. BankofGuam makes life a little more hassle free.

Works great

Fast and easy to use although it does take a while for the check deposit pictures to register otherwise everything else no problem 👍

Unable to proceed

I cannot seem to go any further after I open the terms and condition agreement. It would just freeze up and close up the account window. It is inconvenient Sid frustrating after 20 attempts to go pass the agreement screen. Please go something about BankofGuam.

Excellent Customer Service

All bank representatives were cordial and knew to expedite their work and to make sure that they were doing everything they could to make sure their clients were getting the best possible outcome for their clients

Best mortgage service I’ve had

This is the only app where I could see my up to date mortgage balance any time I wanted. Everything else with Bank of Guam is there also, of course. Well done to your development team and any others involved!

Hey to the Hay Monayyy

It’s nice to keep up on debts and knowing checks deposits etc. I like how they keep an exact rating of credit score. Bank of Guam makes it easy to make payroll business and strictly fdic for commission and profiteering and non - profit is my new goal to the legislation with government that I feel if anyone’s going to be it my bets on Bank of Guam

Great app

I like how I can do all my transactions in one place. But just a suggestion, please make it easier for online mobile deposit to go through (maybe a more detailed instruction on how to deposit, what isn’t allowed etc.) and also add the ability to link /control/pay credit cards as well.

Bank Of Guam App

I’m loving it. It’s great . Keeps you from going anywhere to use atms to check your balance and or from waiting to get your bank statements to see your transactions or making deposits, you don’t have to line up anymore. You can deal with all those by a click on your phone. I’m very happy with BankofGuam and how the bank is really up to date with the transactions.

Great App

Love BankofGuam , I can review accounts and keep up to date with transactions being done daily. I usually dont get receipts from mom and pop stores, with BankofGuam , I just go in and check. It’s easy and convenient.
