Access Irvine Reviews

Used to be a great app, then Sept 2018 arrived and all AccessIrvine does is return “Network Errors” stating: “The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format” or Cache miss.” Hopefully they correct their issues and get it working again.

Keep getting memory and cache messages for at least a month and the links to support don’t work

Events have not been updated since February 5.

I applaud the effort for re-doing the previously completely broken app, however this new app is still a mess on modern iPhones. The developer apparently forgot to test on any newer screen sizes. The interface is broken on iPhone XS Max, e.g. I think you can still (clumsily) get basic features to work with enough patience however.

Reporting an issue has been broken for the last month or so

When I go to my reports, it is blank. I do not see how the report was resolved.

No response and no action taken.

Would have liked to have seen more content. Didn't really find anything useful so I deleted shortly after downloading. Would have liked to see police blotter, announcements, and breaking news.

Also see that it hasn't been updated in a while so it doesn't seem like they are too interested in improving and keep AccessIrvine updated.

Good app, but needs to be updated for longer iPod touch 5G screen.

And it’s earlier stages AccessIrvine did have a little bit of buggy issues that were frustrating, however, AccessIrvine has continually improved. I appreciate that the city has put so many resources into one app. My only complaint is that recently some of the zoom and information has not been consistent, but that is more related to the operation of the actual city website than AccessIrvine itself. I would love to see the icon connect, added in for route information and future versions.

AccessIrvine is so helpful! The teen section is awesome! I use it all the time especially to find out about YAT events! Definitely will recommend to friends!
