iTrackMail - Email Tracking Reviews

I like iTrackMail but the location listed of the reader is not correct. I did a test and sent one to myself . It had me listed in another state nowhere where I am. I have had 1 person read the same email 5 times and it listed 5 different locations and IP addresses.

I bought iTrackMail “pro version”. I send the email I wanted tracked- awesome it worked.. iTrackMail then showed it had been opened several more times. I went to my “sent” emails to reread the email- it counted as me reading it.. so now every time I Open my email (not the actual email being tracked) it shows it’s been read Again.. so now I’m wondering if the person I sent the tracked email to is even reading it several times or are they just opening their regular email like I am..??!! ALSO- I selected to get notifications when the email is read, that doesn’t work either- I literally have to open the this app app to see if it’s read. Please FIX This..

I upgraded to pro, the email no longer says it is being tracked, that’s great! The problem is as soon as I open my email page, not even opening the email itself it gives me a notification that my email has been read! That isn’t correct! Then the person I’m sending it to are they really reading it or just opening their email page and it’s saying it’s been read! So I don’t even know if it was read or when it was read, and the locations are all the same if I open my email or if it comes from the other person! So I know there are problems

Got this to use to track, including ip-address for business ... it only shows California. No other info. Garbage!!!!! Wasted money. I can’t believe people can sell app’s that are Scams like this one! I will definitely be disputing this with my bank as you all should. It’s suggested that it provides the IP address, location, state and city, everything I’ve never tried to track shows unknown, Or California. I have no idea who is opening my emails I’ve been sending but this is ridiculous. Do not waste your money at all. The only thing it tracks is when you open an email that you’ve already sent to someone else.

Update: Stopped working completely! Not tracking at all. Also inserts “This email sent by this app” in every email even though I have purchased the upgrade. Found a better app.

Update: The notifications are working again! Maybe it was an Apple issue?

Original review: iTrackMail used to notify you each time an email was opened. Now you must open iTrackMail to see if the email has been read. I liked the old way better. Maybe they could make the notification optional? If it gave a notification when opened, it would be 5 stars!

I have been using this “I track email” app for a little over One month now. typically about this time after downloading a free app I get frustrated and delete it. I have no thoughts of doing that with iTrackMail, it hasn’t failed me once. it works great and it’s free, I totally recommend it to anybody.

I love the fact that you are able to know when someone has read your email and how many times it’s been read. Every now and then someone has read my email and it doesn’t say it has been read and I’m not sure how that happens, but nonetheless I’m very pleased with iTrackMail 😃

I was waiting for the tracking long time ago and finally it arrives. No one can tell you that they haven’t read/open the email. And nobody knows you’re tracking their emails by eliminating the sender’s tracking on the bottom. Congrats good job.

I upgraded and it works as expected. Some of the locations seem off. For example, when my emails is opened from certain people it is reported as California when they are in Florida. There may be another explanation other than a bug. That is my reason for giving it 4-Stars

There's an issue where if I read the email from my sent box, it counts it as if someone has read it. And then every notification from there on forward says that I have read it even when I clearly have not. It says my IP and location when I am not reading my own emails please fix this. Other than that it does its job.

I’m so glad I have a chance to see if my email was read. However, this time it did not advice me when it was read.

The receiver sent me a message saying he read my email.

Now every time you open the email thread sent to target to read or reply you get multiple repeated
Notifications instead of for just when they read it! This is highly annoying and you end up with 60 notifications that your email was opened mostly by you instead of just target- it did not do this before- please fix it asap

When you write the email and there’s little message at the bottom of the email, stating not to delete it and it doesn’t disappear as described in the statement, thus letting the recipient know it’s being tracked. It also didn’t notify me, when someone read the email. I know because I got a response back from the recipient. And finally, if you open the email, it acknowledges you and sends a notification.

I love iTrackMail . It has always been accurate. But like others have mentioned, it is very frustrating that we can’t look at our own email without it counting as a “view “
But even with that, I still give it 5 stars!

It tells you to write the message above the “image” however I did a test email and if you don’t delete the image it will show that you’re using the tracking email app. Luckily I did a test email smh.

At first none of my emails were going through but a few emails after I upgraded went through just fine. I'm happy with iTrackMail .

When I send emails, I never get notifications that the emails have been read. It keeps saying “this email has not been read” however, I tested it with a friend. She read the email I sent but still I was never notified through this app and I have the pro version. Don’t waste your money!

iTrackMail is great if you use the email associated with your Apple ID. I use a different email, and after many attempts, I had to revert back to my old email because it wouldn’t accept the new one....

I bought the full version thinking it might be useful. All it did was send me notifications all night that my emails had been read when in fact they had not. Then I emailed customer service for help and they couldn't show enough respect to return my request for help. I would not waste your time. Lousy app poor service.

Finally iTrackMail is working again!! It’s a great app until it doesn’t work! Glad it’s fixed!

Overall it's a good app but need a few more features

Worked great for over a year. I upgraded long ago. Now no send button.

When I first installed and upgraded iTrackMail , it was great until recently, send button no longer working so I couldn't send email anymore. Very disappointed! Please fix it!

Daniel- are you going to fix the issue with it counting an open mail over and over if it’s left open?? If not then I’m not going to use iTrackMail it’s not accurate then
