Why does the app automatically stop playing songs? Every minute or so, it pauses and I have to press play again.

I have always lovde this app, until this last week. It is on shuffle and only plays the last downloaded music. Cannot/will not come off shuffle. Cannot change to a Playlist or que. Please help.
Since the last update, this app has stopped playing almost half of my colSD CARD. There was a message about not being able to search someplace (I don't remember where), but all my music files are on my SDcard.
