So my account expired during the lockdown and I decided not to pay for it until everything returns to normal.
ASMALLWORLD is pretty useless in such a case! I can't check my messages now unless I pay!!!
Really you expect me to pay for no events?

What a stupid business decision to not take under considerations what is happening in the world.

Absolutely useless app and very expensive membership for which you won't get much. Did not get any interesting invites, ideas and themes. Actually very blunt app. And be aware of automatic membership renewal! I signed up and found it useless and not helpful at all. Was not aware of automatic renewal of the membership (small print, be careful) and got charged again for services that I have not used for a year. Contacted their customer service for refund and the answer was "you should be aware of automatic renewal and nonrefundable fees" too bad.

ASMALLWORLD charged me $110 for renewal. Within a week I asked if I could be refunded as I only used ASMALLWORLD one to attend an event in NYC and found that it was not for my taste at all. Unless you enjoy a bit of a sorority type of parties go ahead and join and pay for the 110 dollars. As an app that claims to be working on professional terms they should be refunding the money to someone who will not be using yet alone does not enjoy ASMALLWORLD . Yet, they used their 'policy' excuse to not return the money and disregarded my email. Any business entity would be cordial enough to return the money to someone who does not use ASMALLWORLD , regardless of the policy. I am really speechless.

Cannot access account at all!

Traveling to Atlanta and was hoping to connect and explore the city. When I came across the A Small World, I was so excited to try it! However, when I researched the event page, there have never been past events and it looks like there will be no future events in Atlanta… I expected there to be at least one nice event to check out. That said, I do appreciate the transparency by the company, especially with the price tag.

I simply don’t like ASMALLWORLD . I was expecting something else. There’s no enough/interesting events in Dubai, neither people.
Its designe isn’t friendly.
They don’t refund your money, even if you haven’t used it. I wasted my money with the promise of a cool app...
So, head up before you engage on it.

Look I get that ASW has a lot going on. But the way it’s set up in ASMALLWORLD it’s almost impossible to find. I got a contact request from a member. Great. I click on the email I got, it should take me to ASMALLWORLD right? Nope. The website. Where the login times out instead of connecting through to the mobile version.

So I go on ASMALLWORLD . I go to activity. You’d think it would be there. It’s not. Maybe it’s in messages. I mean I got a message to tel me. It’s not. I jump around for 10 minutes on a painfully slow app and finally just give up.

Add to that things like my contact picture not showing up in ASMALLWORLD . And adding one again just freezes it. And a litany of other small things. I’m not sure what member tricked you into buying their services to make this thing but it’s not doing justice to the community you’ve built.

Although definitely needs some work and bug repairs. The content seems to appear differently on the website. When trying to read messages, questions, or connections ASMALLWORLD crashes. Hopefully this will be fixes ASAP so all members can get the full benefits out of our new / renewed membership.

Fairly functional but where can I get a full screen, iPad version?

Just updated ASMALLWORLD with new version and it doesn’t open.

I enjoy the capabilities and the interface of ASMALLWORLD , my only issue is that when opening messages, it takes FOREVER to load them and then I get booted off/it crashes/I have to exit. Please fix that!

Nice events and the online functionality is great when you’re traveling.

Still figuring out all the functionality but so far I think it’s a nice community.

Great global community. Nice to meet people while traveling or at home.

Premium networking app. Yes it has a memberships fee but there is no advertising and they don’t sell your data.

The new version is so much better! Finally a good interface.

Feels like there are some great ongoing improvements happening. Curious to see what additional functionality they will add.

Happy to see that ASW is putting some attention to its app. The new site it's a great improvement from the old one but it also left ASMALLWORLD years behind. I love this new update and I hope to see more coming. :)

ASW created a brand-new app in June 2019 with a completely new design and in short: it’s just exponentially better than the last one. Great design, good interface and fun to use. Yes, there are still a few glitches here and there but we’ve seen a flow of steady updates over the last months so that it will only improve from here.
The service still costs a bit more than USD 100 per year (you’ll have to subscribe on the website) but for that you get access to a cool, global community of travellers, some great events and a cool app. Members tend to be centered around cities, so you’ll get most out of it if you live in a big city.
