I love WHITEYS!!!

So seriously WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering the best I’ve been a craver for 20 years, I even take people who are from out of state to white castles hoping they get the itch like I do. I’ve got the sweater, the mugs all the old toys (remember when they used to give those out??) i’ve won several white castle eating contests, and generally really really really just like this company. They’re not publicly traded, and it shows. This is mom and pop at the highest level. In regards to WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering , there is some misgivings about it like accidentally deleting a coupon, but your customer service when you call and have a problem with WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering is dynamite!! I couldn’t believe how easy it was to correct mistakes, and this was during the holiday season. When everyone’s kind of crabby with you. They were not. For that White Castle, I thank you. If you don’t have WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering, and you enjoy eating their food, download it. I highly recommend it

APP IS GOOD SERVICE WAS AGGRAVATING

APP was easy to navigate. Was able to get my order in quickly.

I did a pick up order and paid online so that I would NOT have to wait in the the drive thru and here I am waiting in the drive thru!!!!!!! There was an employee standing with the door open smoking and yelled “drive thru” at me as I was getting out of my car, and I said I’m just picking up an order, “go to the drive thru” is the response I got. Super AGGRAVATING!!!!!! I understand not all places are open right now, and it’s great they’re trying to keep everyone safe, BUT if I can’t pick up inside it shouldn’t be an option on WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering !!!!!!!!! I’ve been sitting in the drive thru, for 5 minutes and haven’t moved!!!! By the time I get to the window my food which was supposed to be ready 3minutes ago is going to be cold.

Never Again

Placed order thru app. Paid. Order to be ready at 1:35. I arrived with three people in line , at the counter. I thought it would be easier to grab and go rather than sit in the drive thru. There was one employee manning the grill, fryer, drink station , drive thru and walking. We could not see her mike and thought she was ignoring us as she would not answer us. One person left. So would I but my order was paid for. Two more came in but also left. By the time she acknowledged me she said the order did not show up on her computer. It’s now 2:00. Forty five min after the order was place and 30 min. After I arrived. I had to show the order confirmation. To which she responded “that don’t mean a thing” it’s not on my computer. Read me the order. And I’m being polite in my reiteration if the service. I understand the frustration but don’t dish it to your customers because employees didn’t show up. App is being removed. I’ll never eat a White Castle ever again.

Very Convenient

I love being able to place a mobile order when I get off work late at night between 1a-3a because the food will be ready by the time I get there. I love how I can choose to pay by phone or if I have cash pay at the restaurant. The only 2 issues I have are 1) if the store is closed for whatever reason, there needs to be a notification of some sort when you try to order from that restaurant and 2) there needs to be a customization selection on WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering . Basically I like to order their Bacon Ranch Cheese Fries without the Ranch and I leave that info under special instructions, but it always gets missed…. But overall I’m still satisfied with WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering .

Broken App, Overall System or Store Management

Placed order on WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering , paid via Apple Pay and then set pickup time for the 15min+ minimum. Arrived just on time and was then told my order did not show up on their system.

I had the order number and also verified Apple Pay had hit my credit card, I saw the pending charge. After several mins at the window, was told to come inside to wait for my order to show up.

I asked if they could pull up the order somehow some way since I already have a order number. They said it’s not possible and had to wait for the system to pop up the order on their end. This seems like a very inefficient system.

They said they had no way to pull up an order and must wait. After 30mins, still nothing and then that’s when they said there nothing they can do and have to call corporate to see what they can do but unfortunately they said corporate is closed. That seems rather inefficient...

So White Castle seems to have a very legacy system and upper management doesn’t trust their stores to handle cases such as these on their own? All that or this store staff doesn’t know what they’re doing.

After all this, I ended up just leaving the store, got food elsewhere and will be disputing the charge on my credit card.

Double coupons!

Love WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering because you’re allowed to make a whole meal with coupons - sack of 10 and chicken rings for the win.

Would give 5 stars but Apple Pay doesn’t work despite reinstalling also auto decline on credit cards that I have swiped in the store. Some locations don’t even start your order until you ask for it. Makes me feel grateful that I couldn’t pay in advance because sometimes I can’t just sit and wait. It would be nice for the transaction to be as contactless as possible for everyone’s protection.

One Of The Worst Apps Ever

I gave WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering a 1 star because I was forced to. 99% of the Tim, WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering does not work at White Castle locations and the employees are aware of this, therefore you’ll ever be able to use WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering coupons in the drive thru. I was told by 2 employees (at 2 different locations) they believe White Castle interferes with the internet/connection to avoid you using WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering /coupons. If you’re able to get WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering up, you’re going to wait in the drive they for longer than 15 minutes, so again you can’t use the coupon because it’s not available for another 7 days, after it’s generated. I’m currently in the drive thru and one car is ahead of me at the window. My order is not taken u til the car at the window has ordered AND have received their food. This is why the coupon times out. I’m sitting for over 11 minutes now.

You need to include

WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering is decent. But you MUST add the ability to add ketchup and mustard. I only see being able to add it if you add it in the special instructions. Guess what happens in that area. People don’t read it. It’s an overnight. At least twice now I’ve added it to the instructions section and stupidly don’t ask before I leave, get it home and wouldn’t you know it, there’s no ketchup and mustard. Just like you ask if people want onions and pickles ask if you do or don’t want ketchup and mustard. I know you know people like your mustard because you sell bottles of it. So please add it to the list of ingredients to either add or not put on. And then if I forget to click “yes” then it’s my fault.

Love the Castle, not the app

I’ve loved White Castle for almost 40 years and have probably consumed 50,000 sliders or more my entire lifetime. I’ll also go back, but my app experience was so bad it’s just not worth it. Coupons are great, but every time I order in WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering the restaurant never had the order ready and usually struggles to locate it.

That’s not the worst part of it, WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering itself consumes your battery! I haven’t used WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering in a week and yesterday I came to my phone to discover it was almost dead after 5 hours just sitting in my pocket and it was hot to touch. I looked at battery consumption and the White Castle app was 86% of my usage 🥳. I turned off background app refresh and it continued to dominate so I put it to bed and deleted it. I might revisit it down the road for the coupons, but the bugs need to be worked out.

Didn’t work

I joined the craver nation and there was a coupon for a free slider combo (4 original sliders, small fry, small drink) but it was only available via an in-app order. I tried to place the order but WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering had some sort of communication error. It said to contact the store to place the order, so I went to the drive thru to tell them the issue I was having. After explaining the situation and giving them my phone to look at for like 10 minutes, they resolved to do nothing for me, and I left with no food. I’m just really disappointed to have wasted my time and gas for nothing like that. Seems pretty deceptive to have been offered free food but then not get any of it because WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering decides not to work and the store won’t do anything to remedy the situation.

Super annoying app

They could really spend a little money to make WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering easier to place orders and pay. You can’t see prices for their huge menu and many different offerings until after you’ve 1) added to your cart, and then 2) go into the cart to see what you’ve just added. It isn’t smart enough to use your location to find a store, frequently times out when you’re trying to pay in WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering , can’t remember your payment method so you have to enter a million numbers each time, and is general it just cumbersome. Other restaurants treat their mobile app customers better than this, so only bother with WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering if you’ve REALLY got a craving (or WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering and make it easier to pick up without having to wait in the drive thru line like the other restaurants do).

Prices

Overall WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering operates smoothly! The only request I’d make if any would be to list the prices of each item in the menu. As of now the only way to see the prices is to add the item to your cart then go to the cart or checkout page to see the price. I find myself a lot of times deleting items out of cart after seeing the price. Not a major issue it’s just a petty inconvenience that honestly a lot of customers would like to see the prices in the menu. Other than this it’s a great app!!!

App has issues

WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering is not user friendly. When u order it has a space for additional information well I always get a large hic orange. Evidently that information does not show up for the employees so instead of getting my hic that I wanted I got Fanta orange. Sections overlap each other. Up until just recently onion chips were not on WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering to order. More often than not I am Stu k with pickle on my sandwich when I clearly ask for NO pickle. I’m going to stop using it and possibly going all together. The customer care is ridiculously under trained In how to speak to customers the tone, the vernacular, the unprofessional, the communication as a whole.

Overall simple… some glitches

Nice layout. Pretty easy to use. Had some issues adding items to order once viewed “my sack”. I found it a little challenging to make out which item was associated to the Delete resulting in my choosing the wrong one. Otherwise good job to the UI team that designed as it has a very simplistic flow. Try it today!

Don’t waste your time

I downloaded WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering so I could order ahead of time because you know White Castle has the worst lines. WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering worked fine except it takes your money as soon as you order not when you get there like the McDonald’s app. When I get to the location there are no spots to pull in and have them bring you your food. The inside was closed even though there was a sign that said the inside was still open for carry out. So I had to pull into the long drive through line. It took forever and I couldn’t even leave and go somewhere else because WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering took my money when I placed the order. Won’t be using again. Terrible customer experience.

It’s great as far as order being ready at the window but still have to wait in long line vs having a order ready pickup option then your order still not to your specifications because workers are not reading the specific order request such as your app has Hi-C fruit punch but I asked for orange because there wasn’t an option to check orange only fruit punch then in comments I asked for orange but got fruit punch.....

Worst app & worst service EVER!!

WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering is EXTREMELY Slow!! I ordered from WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering pulled up to the dt only to be told by a girl with an attitude that they don’t have my order. I used to love really love White Castle, when I was a kid they didn’t have it near us so we’d get it while traveling & it was a great treat. I’m sorry to say that while I like White Castle the restaurant’s have lost my business. I don’t go to restaurants for poor customer service. I also won’t support a restaurant where WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering doesn’t work as it should so Congratulations White Castle you lost a customer for life & I will tell others of my experience so they don’t have the same thing happen to them. If I could give a negative star I would.

WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering is flawless but if the people working at the White Castle is not paying attention your order will sit there in the system just like right now I pulled up the drive-through and they didn’t know I had to order there until they had to check the cash register...that plan didn’t work out too well... so I sit at the drive-through like I didn’t want to do, waiting for my order to be made

First (and probably LAST) time app user :(

Happy to get a free combo coupon, but I lost it when my phone battery died. Never even got to use it!
Clearly you can verify when looking at the order history that the coupon was never used.
We live at least an hour from the nearest White Castle and decided to drive all the way here for fresh sliders instead of from the frozen food section. Not that we made the trip solely for the free coupon, but it sweetened the anticipation of picking up a crave case plus a few more free.

Takes longer than just going in

They never ever start making your food until after you wait in the long line and tell them you are there.

Then there is usually some song and dance about the order not having come through or having been lost, even if not they are still not going to start making it until you get there.

15 different orders across 3 locations. Never once has the food been ready or even started, regardless of scheduled time. Never once have any of the options selected or special instructions been herded. In fact the part where you do things like select “no pickles” has to not getting passed on to the restaurant because not even White Castle could mess that up 15 times in a row.

If you have T-mobile Tuesday’s and want to feel like crap for taking advantage of it, then head to White Castle in Evansville IN. I made the mistake of going and getting the free 8 original burgers this Tuesday. The whole time I was waiting for my food they were mad and it really started when I walked in, he said let me guess you have t-mobile and want free 8 sliders. I said yes and it went down hill from there. Logan went to get his and he didn’t even look at him but instead just said, “yea I got it.” Logan said thank you when they handed him his bag to which he received dirty looks. I don’t get it when a company I go though offers me free food because I chose them and I am made to feel like I am getting a hand out for using it. Well I won’t do it again.

There’s no useful purpose for customers

There is no good reason to use WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering. They don’t start making your order until after you arrive even though they give you a very specific pickup time. WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering told me to pick up at 5:41. When I arrived and checked in, the cashier told them to start making the web order. My order wasn’t ready until after 6. I could have just ordered when I got there and had the same wait time without sharing my personal information with WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering . It seems WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering is just a vehicle to serve marketing material with no legitimate use to customers. Honestly Apple should remove to app from WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering Store.

App concept is great!

By the time I made it to White Castle, the cashier had to look for my receipt. The manager was very professional and told her, the purpose of WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering was so that our food is ready when we get there and the young lady seemed so unconcerned. A Grup Hub driver came in after me with the same problem. The service was horrible. The young lady at the grill kept playing in the open with the young lady who misplaced my receipt. Also I brought to the managers attention that the young lady at the grill because of her height being short, clothes continued to touch and lay all over the buns as she layer the grill. Just a bad experience. The manager did apologize for my wait.

Gets the job done but needs some work

Was able to place an order, but some changes to make. Hopefully this reaches the devs.

1. Support Dark Mode for iOS 13 or circumvent it. Text in the drop down menus does not show in dark mode because of this.
2. Introduce Apple Pay. (Might be a stretch)
3. On the ordering menu when you are placing an order time, pressing “Done” from the UiPickerView causes the View to drop out of bounds. This makes the place order button impossible to press.

I ordered my food through WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering with a ready time of 12:28. I make my way to the White Castle stand in line and proceed to tell them I ordered through WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering and gave them my name. The guy in the back yells “Yo order ain’t come through” and then walks away. So I stand there waiting someone to at least ask me what my order was and they don’t. The guy finally looks at me and was like what was your order and I show him my phone and he just says alright. Walks away...still waiting on my order...

A Christmas Nightmare

I downloaded WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering in hopes of getting my daughter French fries after a trip to the museum. The interface and design were nice but sadly, everything afterwards was hell on earth. I waited for twenty minutes until the cashier told me the manager would take care of WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering order, then another twenty until the manager told me he didn’t know there was an app. My daughter was screaming for apple juice. The vent fan was broken. A true Christmas nightmare.

Great app when it actually works

Over time WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering has gotten progressively worse. 1 by 1 payment methods have stopped working. First Apple Pay giving a gateway rejected message, then Venmo loading but not going through and regular cc payment also getting the gateway rejected error. It’s great that you accept these alternate payment methods but please actually ensure they work with your platform.

Poor Service

I ordered online and received a confirmation with pick up time of 5:41. When I arrived at the store my food was not ready and I did not receive my food until 6:01. Twenty minutes after the cited pick up time. I ordered online so my food would be ready and I wouldn’t have to wait. Clearly there is no advantage to using WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering or online ordering. Not to mention the service In store was terrible and the employees were extremely rude and unprofessional.

I reported this bug last week and it was great to see how quickly the support team replied and then issued a fix for this bug. WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering is now working great again!

Confusing for users and the restaurant, order never ready on time

Order is rarely correct. Typically incorrect or missing items upon pickup. Must be confusing for employees fulfilling the order; it is certainly confusing for customers ordering.

Also, WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering does not recognize input options.

For example, when requesting medium drinks with a shareable crave, it prompts to small drinks upon ordering.

In addition, the order is never ready on time. They fulfill it after I arrive which takes another 10-15 minutes, typically, which defeats the entire purpose of ordering in advance.

Placing a simple 2 crave case order took 20 minutes. 5 waiting to log in, 2 minutes to add 2 cases, 3 minutes to load check out screen, 5 to load after check out was clicked, another 5 to finish order after hitting pay at castle.

Almost would have been quicker if drove and ordered in store. I would have been less frustrating to say the least

Food not ready for pickup

I downloaded WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering because I need to wait 8-10 mins for my food to be ready. I assumed it would be ready at the pick up time given.

However I had to wait 18 additional minutes, which is an unusually long time to wait to begin with...
So they didn't/don't prepare your order ahead of time... Which defeats the point of WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering for me. Hopefully this changes in the future

Useless!

The purpose of WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering is to order in advance and none of the locations in NYC ever prepare the order before I arrive. I’d like to know why are the prices not listed on the menu in WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering . I would like to see how much it cost without having to go through the Hassle of adding it to my cart and then having to remove it. Also, the customer service is terrible across the board.

The first time I tried to place an order, the store said they didn’t receive it. But when I repeated to order to them, they found it in their computer. Of course, the order hadn’t been started so there was zero benefit to using WhiteCastleOnlineOrdering .
