Pei Wei Online Ordering Reviews

I tried PeiWeiOnlineOrdering for the first time and place 2 orders. My was partially correct. I paid for extra chicken and his order came with nothing extra.
I ask for an ahi avocado bowel with extra ahi, and they decided to make me a Polynesian bowel.
For many reasons I didn’t select that bowel but they just decided to send that on my order instead for what I paid for. I tried calling the store and the phone rings for ever. No one will pick up.
I been calling since 8:30 pm several times and no one will answer.
Bad experience doing this over PeiWeiOnlineOrdering.

Have an account (works just fine to login via website), and login to PeiWeiOnlineOrdering with it. It successfully brings my account info and IMMEDIATELY demands to VERIFY the info; I do (is same info I see on my profile) and click SUBMIT, and then if pops up a message to type a 10-digit phone number (which is ALREADY THERE), no matter what phone number I type (with or without dashes) is ends up in constant loop of never letting me past this Verify screen, rendering PeiWeiOnlineOrdering useless and no way to contact Help/Support either. Lame. Have uninstalled and reinstalled to no success.

As others have pointed out, PeiWeiOnlineOrdering became truly worthless after the last update. I open PeiWeiOnlineOrdering and am asked to verify my information. Now, at this point I have two options. I could hit okay, but get an error the phone number format is invalid. So this essentially leads me to the second option either way: retype the phone number without parentheses. I hit okay, it takes it, and then returns to the same verification screen. This begins the endless cycle of verification requests... I couldn’t use PeiWeiOnlineOrdering functionality if I really wanted to.

Very disappointing app. First, it’s always wanting your location to find closest places. I happen to live near a Pei Wei, I don’t need to app to find for me. As for when I travel, I much prefer to find local restaurants. Next and most glaring omission is that none of the daily specials show up on PeiWeiOnlineOrdering . Its fine for checking points balance or finding locations but not much else. To get the specials you need to signup for emails - then they bombard you with daily emails - overkill marketing! I go maybe once every 2 months and no amount of specials will increase that. Too many other foods I like. I had to unsubscribe- just too many emails I don’t need. They could take a look at Starbucks to see how to build a useful app. I get one maybe 2 emails per week from Starbucks. Plenty enough to see the offers. But then all the offers are in PeiWeiOnlineOrdering so it’s even easier to see the recent deals. I like pei wei every so often but I hate the constant emails and I hate PeiWeiOnlineOrdering .

I haven’t ordered here in a while.. maybe a year or so. Have tried to login a 100x and it keeps saying my password is incorrect. And I used the thing where you see what you type. Use password reset, no email comes. Try to make new account, but can’t because it says I already have used my phone # which I can’t use that account anymore due to the above reasons. So now I just can’t use PeiWeiOnlineOrdering at all anymore I guess. Used to be able to do a guest checkout too, can’t do that anymore either. Guess I’ll just pass from now on because I have been sitting here for an hour trying to log in.

PeiWeiOnlineOrdering has a lot wrong with it, but I was burned with a meal recently and that's the last straw. Not the first time I have had issues with this chain. They implemented a new section with "tofu" and the default protein is chicken?! I mean the dish is even called tofu xx. Ignore any title you see in PeiWeiOnlineOrdering and configure your meal. Double check the description after your selections. When you pickup, open the bag and check each meal for accuracy. Pray they are not busy as they will most certainly be under staffed and you may as well just walk out in that case. Better to deal with your credit card company then to receive your refund.

I’ve tried using PeiWeiOnlineOrdering two different times and neither time was I able to complete my order. I had to resort to using my computer or placing the order at the restaurant. The biggest problem is PeiWeiOnlineOrdering forces you to turn on geo location although I don’t want PeiWeiOnlineOrdering to always check for my location. This is clearly a flaw that violates privacy options. I am perfectly capable of identifying my location and the closest restaurant. I have since deleted PeiWeiOnlineOrdering and won’t use it again.

I am unable to use PeiWeiOnlineOrdering to place orders unless I click on faq then use the drop down. Then I am logged out and can place an order. Otherwise the order page never loads. It’s a pain because then I don’t get my points. And if you hit the back button, you have to dig to get to start an order again. It’s a pain and only slightly better than waiting for your order when you order in the restaurant. I HAVE EMAILED AND NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE!! They just told me to update PeiWeiOnlineOrdering but that didn’t change anything.
They changed it. Now I can’t order at all. I guess they don’t want my business.

I have never been able to get PeiWeiOnlineOrdering to work. I forgot my password, so went through the password reset procedure — it takes 10-15 minutes for the reset e-mail to arrive.

Then, when I finally reset it, and type it into PeiWeiOnlineOrdering , I get an error message saying, “Phone already in use.”

I have tried several times over the past several months to use PeiWeiOnlineOrdering — only to have to just order in person. If this is how much PeiWei cares about their app, I might as well find someplace else to order from.

Are use PeiWeiOnlineOrdering to mainly order from favorites for past orders. However when it tells you that an item in a task order is no longer available you have no way to modify it nor are you able to see the items in the order. Always let you see is the total and where you got it. Also confusing is at the top of the screen it says “Congratulations! Your order has been successfully placed“. This makes you believe that your order has been placed when in reality it has not. This is simply the confirmation page you got when you place your order the first time. Pretty confusing until you figure this out. PeiWeiOnlineOrdering still needs quite a bit of work and I’m surprised that they released it with such limited functionality

Seriously why? I have $100 in gift card money for here and can’t apply it in app. So on my 30 min break I don’t have time to drive there,place the order and then wait 20 mins or less for the food and drive back to work. I need it to be ready for pick up so I can be in and out. So basically I have gift cards I’ll almost never use because a normal basic function is not available in PeiWeiOnlineOrdering .

When you try to add an order to your cart PeiWeiOnlineOrdering will say please select a size (of the entree). But the only size available is regular. So you tap on it and try to add it to the cart again and you get the same popup saying you need to select a size. After a few tries I gave up and went somewhere else whose app works. But I see PeiWeiOnlineOrdering hasn't been updated in 8 months so maybe they’ve given up on it. Too bad.

I hate that every few months PeiWeiOnlineOrdering /system decides to not log into my account anymore, stating the “phone number is in use.” I’ve tried deleting and re-adding PeiWeiOnlineOrdering , checking through the mobile site, and even using a computer. I can’t find a consistent way to access my account and rewards, which is very frustrating. When everything works, the system is relatively easy to use. I just wish the system would work consistently and shared information across platforms more effectively.

Trying to use new app. Says you need to create new account using old phone number to use new system. Problem is, it says phone number is already used and can't create account. Obviously everyone else has same problem, why not just fix it? Seems like system changed in mid-February, it is now end of April!

Update- Emailed customer care and they corrected the problem. Unfortunately, all the Pei Wei's near me closed 6 months ago, nearest is now 1.5 hours away. Very sad, this was one of our favorite places and there truly is no other place like Pei Wei! Hopefully, their fortunes will change and we'll see new locations in the future!

There needs to be an option somewhere in the ordering process to add a note to the order or to designate a food allergy. Every time we order I have to also call the restaurant to notify them about a food allergy and avoid possible contamination. In today’s world this should be a standard feature.

i have eaten very offen at pei wei but i chose to order for delivery this time when it was delivered i open it and had a ton of fried rice but not very much of the Mongolian beef it was to be a full order and look like a small or 1/2 order all those i still love their food it was a disappointment when i saw my delivery order mushrooms were almost non existent but ton of green onion ☹️ i may try again and hope i get what i order this time

Nice app but after just downloading, it crashed the 1st two times while I was just adding my info.

I found the ordering very simple and cleanly laid out. But what I found and why I can never order from PeiWeiOnlineOrdering is that it does not allow you to edit your order, such as removing the spicy tuna and replacing with a 2nd tuna poke’ in the poke’ bowl or instead of removing rice, how about allowing us to remove lettuce as well. Just place rice on bottom instead. A poke bowl really should never have lettuce but mine was not great lettuce last time and I ended up throwing it away anyway. Lets save you time and money. Thanks for listening. Lets try to get that option to say “light spice or no soy sauce” etc.

I really got this only for the rewards but I never really seem to get any (been eating here for almost 7 years)... so I guess pei wei rewards aren’t very good. I just redownloaded on my new phone and ordered some food though and frankly it’s a super easy to use app. The pei wei website online ordering system sometimes gives me a “error please try later” message after I go through with filling out all the forms, which is quite annoying, so I always use PeiWeiOnlineOrdering to avoid that.

I love this place. I go here probably once a week if not more. The only thing I would change about PeiWeiOnlineOrdering is to have more specials/deals. It’s hard to find on PeiWeiOnlineOrdering and would be nice to see them on there rather than just on the website! Other than that it’s great, not sure why there are so many people complaining and leaving bad reviews.

They’ve added the ability to add vegetables that don't normally come with the dish. Thank you! One down, two to go.

I also want to be able to order ahead but eat my food in the restaurant (i.e. no to-go boxes, just regular plates). Just add a “Dine In” option to go along with Pick Up and Delivery.

Lastly, and most importantly, I want to be able to order my chicken with Potato Starch breading, even on dishes with non-gluten free sauce, because the "other" way they make proteins crispy ends up in a spongey bread coating that isn't crispy at all. Potato starch is the way to go! Also, I think that method uses eggs and I try to avoid eggs.

Please implement these features in PeiWeiOnlineOrdering and I will eat at Pei Wei every single day.

App doesn’t work. It constantly asks for a phone number before confirming the order. I enter my phone number and it loops back to the same screen with my phone number filled out, but with the “1” automatically placed in front of it, then it gets mad and demands a 10-digit number. I remove the 1, enter the 10-digit number and start the whole loop over again. The problem keeps going even after force closing PeiWeiOnlineOrdering . Just doesn’t work.

I submitted an order for “free” delivery, put a 15% tip on the online order, which was about $3. Got a text saying it was really Door Dash doing the delivery. When the driver arrived, I asked if she got a tip from the receipt. She said she didn’t know and there was no monetary receipt even with my order to look. So I gave the door dash girl the only small bill I had, $5.
I spent $8 for what was supposed to be free delivery and $3 of it just for someone to stick some stuff in a bag and not even include the receipt.
Will never, ever use again.

I got an email offer that if I downloaded PeiWeiOnlineOrdering and made a purchase of at least 7 dollars I would earn a free entree. I made sure my in store purchase was applied to my “ rewards”. Never got the free meal. Just 9 dollars worth of points. So I filled out the online contact form a week ago to inquire . No reply. And their website only gives the option to fill out that form or write a letter. No email and no phone number. Bait and switch and crappy customer service. Who needs it ?

Whenever I provide my phone number at the store for an in-store order, the order credit never appears in PeiWeiOnlineOrdering . It doesn’t matter which Pei Wei u go to. So I have to scan in purchase myself. Except sometimes that doesn’t woman’s u have to enter the numbers and wait for a credit. Store employees acknowledge problems but it never gets fixed. Lots of other annoying problems. But food is good

Order customization needs massive improvement. The old web based application was much better at this. No support for Apple Pay and no way to save multiple payment options outside of actually ordering something and saving a credit card at that time. It’s easier and more convenient to call or walk in to the restaurant and give a human your order.
