My school forces me to use this site for grades and homework stuff. I have hated every second of it. Not only is RenWebHome the quality of something a person could throw together in 1 day, they also force you to buy a $5 subscription every year to keep using RenWebHome or use the website which has no mobile support so there’s basically no other option.

If you have the choice avoid RenWebHome at all costs. Trust me on this one

If I could rate this ZERO stars I would. My son’s school uses the RenWeb/ParentsWeb platform but it never lets me sign in stating “invalid credentials”. I have to keep “resetting” my password just to access anything. Very Frustrating! The iPad App is garbage! I try to open RenWebHome but more often than not, it completely crashes and closes before it loads. I signed up for RenWebHome a year ago and it has never worked properly. Fix it please or at least don’t make folks pay for something that DOES NOT work.

4.99 to use RenWebHome . This company hates parents. No customer service.

RENWEB only views the schools as their customer not the end users!!! To get a password reset takes forever and then the email only lasts 6 hours! I have a job and a life I have moved on by the time I have received the email (still waiting as I’m writing this). This is worse that waiting for DIRECTtv to reboot!!!! Hi! Can anyone from technical support hear me???? Thanks, your frustrated end user. It took 22 minutes to get the email reset!?!?!?!????

I’ve had RenWebHome since September. It is completely useless-none of the clickable buttons work, rather, they simply show an empty page. Unable to order lunches, unable to access grades, unable to access documents/calendar/forms/resources/family names...literally unable to access anything. The page shows options but none of them do a single thing.

When a company has an app it should work for almost everything found on the website, with few drawbacks. RenWebHome is just one huge drawback.

And it didn’t change for the better. Last year had zero problems with RenWebHome . Loved it. This year, though, has been pretty frustrating. More often than not, i can’t log in, get various error messages and/or get bumped out of RenWebHome when I am successful at finally logging in. Unreliable. Frustrating. Maybe a problem with IOS 11 comparability??? Hoping for an update that might solve some issues. Otherwise, not happy to have to pay for an app that doesn’t really work very well.

I can't believe I just paid for RenWebHome, thinking surely the developers have solved the issues the other reviewers have highlighted. RenWebHome constantly freezes on my phone with the latest updates. Seems to have been a waste of money. Maybe it is just a scam, considering how many private schools use RenWeb. According to TPSA, there are approximately 250,000 students just in the state of Texas. If only 100,000 students and parents use RenWebHome - try to use RenWebHome - that is almost 1/2 million dollars every year. Add a few more states... If I could, I would give zero stars. Don't waste your money.

RenWebHome is so frustrating, I just want to check my homework and grades but it won’t let me log in. It keeps saying I have the wrong password. But I put the same exact password into my computer and it works just fine. Please fix this, I pay to use RenWebHome and it doesn’t even work. RenWebHome would be so convenient and worth my money if this wasn’t an issue. Also just to add to the problem I’ve changed my password many times and that hasn’t worked either. A good recommendation would be to just keep the user logged in. Please take this into consideration.

I’ve used RenWebHome for 3 years and while not perfect, it worked well for my needs. I understand I have to pay each year to renew, but I seem to be on a circular loop where it just keeps kicking me out. I’d like to pay to renew, but am never given the option even though it says I will be at login. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling RenWebHome several times in the hopes of forcing the payment option. Each time it logs me in like there’s no issue, only to kick me out again and NEVER provide a payment re-up option. Very frustrating and going to give up on it.

I am extremely disappointed with RenWebHome. It is never updated with the web. When trying to check current assignments, it still shows last week...so we still end up getting the computer out because it is updated on the web. What is the point in paying a subscription for RenWebHome if I still have to check it the regular way??

We’ve been using RenWebHome for many years. It is helpful for checking grades, adding money to lunch accounts etc. That said, It seems like the developers have given up on improving RenWebHome or new features. It’s the same old app from years ago. And recently it logs you out after 24 hours which is really annoying. Really disappointed for an app that costs $5/year. You guys can do better.

Could we get a light mode? RenWebHome ’s interface still feels like 2008. Also: how about a notification when a grade is added? You know, typical stuff that apps made since the Bush administration have done to stay with the times.

My kid’s school uses RenWebHome exclusively and we have to pay to see our own kids grades without logging in from a desktop computer. I feel like RebWeb knows it has a monopoly and thus has no incentive to upgrade a product it makes you pay for every year. That’s silly.

Have some pride in your UI. Fix this already.

I don't do much but check my child's grades so I can't speak on all the features or lack thereof but the user interface is not acceptable when you are paying $4.99 annually. There are blank black bars at the top and bottom of the screen on my iPhone 11 Pro Max so it appears the interface was not updated for phones after iPhone 8. The icons and essentially the entire interface is outdated. It's not worth $4.99 and definitely not worth $4.99 annually.

RenWebHome is very messed up. When I was logging into my account I had to pay the $4.99 fee which if you ask me is weird because I could just go on a computer and look at my grades for free. Once you pay for the subscription it says that your subscription purchase was successful. Then you click continue and have to log in again. That makes you pay and do the process again and again. I did that about for about four times before giving up. Please fix your app.

sadly, my school uses this company for the grade book so I’m stuck with it for the next few years.
1) the user interface is SO OUTDATED AND BAD. 2) RenWebHome is just very hard to use because of all of the design flaws.
2) it’s just awful that we have to PAY for RenWebHome every year and it has trouble handing BASIC tasks. I know $5/yr is not too bad, but I’d expect it to be at least functional and clean looking for that price.

PLEASE UPDATE RenWebHome TO AT LEAST MAKE IT LOOK CLEAN AND UP TO DATE.

I really thought I had seen it all but RenWebHome takes the cake. This has some SERIOUS problems and is missing a lot of user feedback UI info. Half of the time I don’t know if it’s locked up, retrieving info from the DB, or if I didn’t click the right thing. Next thing you know, it just like 3 menu levels deep when I didn’t even click anything for 1 whole minute. VERY frustrating app. Needs major work.

RenWebHome is pretty much essential to my school work and I can’t log it. My school can’t do anything it either. Every time I try to log it, it tells me an error has occurred on the website. This is truely ridiculous cause it has been like this since August. Plus we think the problem is that my mom hasn’t paid for a new year. But we can’t even find where to pay. Pls fix this problem as RenWebHome is essential, for me, for school

I have to use Ren Web for school. It is really helpful and convenient to be able to check grades and homework, but honestly RenWebHome itself is kind of crappy. It’s super slow and the layout is terrible. But, if you go to the parents web website, it is a lot more functional, has more variety, and easy to use. I would definitely recommend using that instead.

I use RenWebHome daily to access my kids’ lesson plans. My major problems with RenWebHome are:
1. Difficult format to read the lesson plans
2. Cannot click any link a teacher adds in the lesson plan and open it in browser
3. Cannot print my kids’ lesson plans from RenWebHome
4. Cannot open documents my kids teachers put into the lesson plans

This is Year 3 using RenWebHome and it hasn’t changed. Seems like basic, normal functions that students and parents need to be able to use an app for. Especially hybrid schooled children who use the lesson plan feature daily and need to be able to read the plans, print them, open docs, click links, and print plans and docs. If I’m doing something wrong and RenWebHome can do this basic functions, please tell me how. Thx!

Ok, I’ve been using RenWebHome for about 3 years now since I was in 7th grade and it worked, sorta. Firstly, RenWebHome would lag from a couple of seconds every time I want to check homework where it would freeze then send me to the page. Overall, RenWebHome gets the job done and my school still uses it, both teachers and students. In the end, it works ,but not well

Been using RenWebHome for about 5 or 6 years. Have always loved it, but over the past few months while pulling up the lunch menu, it crashes. It would only do it after ordering a couple of days worth of lunches, now I can't open lunch at all without it crashing. It would be nice to see the lunch menu today! And, it's not just mine, it's 3 other phones that I know of that its happening to as well. Please fix!!!

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled hoping it would fix the issue, but now can't even log in at all. Doesnt recognize my info and when I hit "forgot password" it still crashes

For school I have to use RenWeb to see my homework or email a teacher and it works so well! Whenever I have questions about the homework I can just email my teacher by using renweb and it works! I can also view my grades and see where I need to improve. Overall renweb is an AMAZING app.

I love RenWebHome! It allows me to keep track of my child’s success and areas of improvement. It creates a greater level of accountability for my child and it allows me in one aspect to be involved in his education. I’ve used RenWebHome for 4 years. However it’s only as good as the information that the school/teachers put into it.
