So you have an expo coming up and need to collect data?? Use this application it worked for my company. We turned our company's tablets into tools for collecting data. We set up our table and boom we automatically had our self a collections kiosk. The best part is that iCapture works without the internet no need for wifi just install iCapture and your good to go! It worked for us and we were able to get a lot of data from past clients and future potential clients. Love iCapture!

this app is a vital tool for my company. It turns any tablet into a instant data collecting kiosk and I couldn't be any happier. At first I tried it for free with a non-credit card trial, and then I understood this was a must have. So far there has been nothing it could not do and the consumer service helped my contact database grow as my company grew.

Easy to setup and use. Questionnaires are fully customizable and very easy to setup. Most importantly is that no wifi is required when filling questionnaires.
App saves ton of time and keeps everything organized.

The interface is dated, the fields are tiny and hard to enter, and it's not user friendly. I would recommend a different solution but all the choices I have seen so far have had the same problems. Someone needs to create a user friendly, and fast lead capture app.

Doesn't scan badges, clunky layout and very unintuitive. I can create a questionnaire and hand it to people just as easy, but people in my case don't want to fill out a questionnaire. They want you to SCAN their badges and send information to them.

I used iCapture to capture leads at a recent trade show.The pricing seemed reasonable (although the difference between the various plans is confusing). It was not too hard to set up, and the company provided very fast and knowledgeable email support (over the weekend!) when I hit a snag. The basic system worked fine, and we captured emails and some other info from people who came to our booth. The captured information both got emailed to us (one by one) and were easily assembled into a CSV file easily opened by Excel. So handling the information we captured was not a problem.

But two problems...

One problem is fairly minor. After entering a name, email or any text, your contact might note a mistake. There is a standard way to handle that in IOS where you can press on the text to get an insertion point, move back or forth if needed to position it, and then enter the correct text. this app does not use this standard method. All you can do is backspace to the mistake and then enter correctly. This makes fixing typos way harder than it should be.

A larger problem is that information from some people can get lost. We set up a system where the first screen captured an email, and later screens captured the name and various other bits of information. So what happens when someone enters their email and doesn’t feel like entering the rest, or gets distracted by a colleague that walks by? What now? There are three answers:
1. Be patient. If you set up the system properly (not the default), after 30 seconds, the information that was entered will be saved, and the form will reset to the first screen.
2. Step through all the remaining steps, entering bogus information to get to the end. This will make life a tiny bit harder for whoever has to email all the contacts, but would work ok.
3. Press the helpful button that says “Start over”. The problem is that this button means: Forget everything that has been entered, and go back to the first screen. So the email and any other information that was entered simply vanishes. There is no confirming or explanation step. No recycle bin. The whole point of a lead capturing system is, well, to capture leads. Here the system quite deliberately deletes information that was entered. The solution, I’m told, is to pay extra for a “pro” plan which would have let me hide that Start Over button. I found the setting to turn off the button in the configuration system, but it didn’t work. Nothing on the configuration screen told me that my plan wouldn’t let me actually do hide the Start Over button. The web page explaining the various plans does not make this clear either (in my opinion). I have corresponded with the company via email, and with a phone conversation, and they think that of course “Start over” should delete entered information and that no one would ever push that button unless they wanted to delete information. Since they don’t think there is a problem, they won’t fix it.

Although the system worked well overall, I am fairly certain that we lost information entered by a few people who stopped by our booth. For that reason, I’ll be looking elsewhere for our next trade show.

iCapture is free, unless you want it to be useful.

At first when I downloaded iCapture I was a little lost. After some exploration of the program and watching the informational videos, it has helped my business immensely. I'll never use paper to collect my leads again! It saves me a ton of time and keeps everything more organized than I would. Love it and definitely highly recommend it!

this app is very easy to use. Build and even customize your app online and install it on your device. Installation is as easy as downloading iCapture and signing into your account. We use this for trade shows and events for short surveys and collecting contact information. Integrates well with Constant Contact too!

We used iCapture to capture leads at several fairs, trade shows, and events this season. Questionnaires were easy to set up and customize. App worked great on-site. Wifi is only needed to set up questionnaire. Capturing data doesn't require internet.

No initiation or cancellation fees. Affordable to have several devices on one account.

Only wish other languages/keyboards were supported.

You are a super high volume pos data collector and if you are you can probably make your own data collecting module for a spreadsheet. I don't like free apps that don't denote in their description that iCapture is free but is tied to a relatively expensive service. Especially when you install iCapture then go through setup and they collect your information for "free" use of iCapture until you finally find out that it costs $75/mo for 3devices and $20 each additional. Seriously sketchy....

I am finding iCapture to be very easy to use! You are provided with all the information you need to get started and create your survey. Mine turned out very well and I am pleased with it! I especially love that I can customize it with my logo!

iCapture is great! It's really easy to learn and the informational videos help a lot. I used iCapture to creat a survey and it worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to create an easy survey.

This Ap will save you thousands on programming works great no issues at the events - there is a small learning curve in programming your questions but Tec support is great ! Exports the data into excel and is easily uploaded.
Price is well worth it !

Very easy to use & easy to set up. Exporting in CSV file for import to your selected CRM software is very straightforward as well. Make sure you have a good understanding of the pricing plans prior to beginning capture. Enjoy!
