  Greenville News - Awful App

  Every time I tried to read the Greenville News I was told I wasn’t a subscriber. I’d login ‘again’ and could read one article before being told to login or subscribe. Now, I’m trying to cancel my subscribe-line and you cannot cancel. I can sign up on-line, change my method of payment on-line, but can’t cancel. How foolish. I called the office to cancel and you can’t do that on Saturday because the office is closed. The app should allow subscribers to cancel a subscription as easy as you can open a subscription. Bad app and service. Don’t subscribe.

  They auto bill you without notification. They claim that auto renewal can be turned off yet there is no such button. After 10 minutes on phone hold they will not refund full subscription price which went up 150% since last year. Beware of this paper and possibly all Gannet papers if this is how they work.

  An after thought

  Doesn't look like the morning paper. When navigating among "sections" stories are often VERY old and not obviously so dated. You can find today's articles if you look, but for an "e" paper, not well done at all

  Worst news app I’ve ever seen

  Was on the wire as to subscribing. I took the dollar a month for 6. Glad I did, the app is garbage, if you need news go elsewhere. I still subscribe to the AJC for 3.99 and it is a leap better than this. Don’t waste your money, you can get their content on Facebook

  Can't access articles

  Since an update was made I can't open the articles to read. As a subscriber to this newspaper I'm very disappointed I can't get current news.

  Waste of time

  In the past ANY subscription to The Greenville News included Greenville Online as part of your subscription . Apparently this has changed but it is “that Greenville “. Wish you could put 0 stars .
