I usually don’t leave any review, but this time since I felt so strong about it, I decided to come all the way here to take my time to write a review for PhotoWonder. I have been using it for the last 4 years or so, and I was shocked to see they charge $9.99 + tax for a month to use PhotoWonder. This is ridiculous! That’s like how much I am willing to pay for Netflix or some streaming service, but no way for PhotoWonder. It’s been great to use it and I have been a faithful user but now it’s time to let this go. There are other apps that can replace this... if it’s $0.99 for a month, I might consider subscribing it to show my appreciation or something but $9.99??!! Are you kidding me? You guys seem quite greedy to charge this much amount and you should’ve thought for carefully before making this decision. This will lead to many users leaving and very negatively affect the business and I am frustrated & quite sad about it honestly. Reconsider changing the amount :(

PhotoWonder used to be hands down the best app for editing & retouching pics UNTIL as a loyal customer for several years I was able to use All functions, effects & beautifying tools until recently! I’m so angry they have now started charging for my app features & even be an already existing customer with free access to those in the past, I suddenly now have to pay for those features?!! Seems completely unreasonable for as long I’ve had it & not being charged: they shld honor their original customers previous features before they decided to suddenly to take them away & charge now even though I am not a new customer to PhotoWonder! It is now useless to me and saddens me that they pulled this stunt on loyal customers already receiving those tools for free for so long! I am very disappointed to say the least!

So I’ve had this app in every Apple device through my time having electronics ( so say about 10 years roughly cause I started using it in middle school and now I’m 21) and I’ve NEVER had to pay for filters or stickers and I just recently went to use it cause it’s been on my phone for literally ever (I use it to enhance the photos I send) and they charge for literally everything.. makes me sad to say bye to a app I’ve used for so long but I’m not willing to pay for basic filters and editing tools.. nothing spectacular about being able to thin yourself out or get rid of eye bags (but in a less advanced way)

I use to love PhotoWonder. It had awesome filters and beauty tools to enhance your photos. It was easy to use and you had every possible photo editing tool in one app but I tried to use it today and they want you to pay $9.99 to use any of the more popular filters and features. They ALL use to be FREE. You had ads but PhotoWonder was free to use everything for years! I’m not paying 10 dollars for a photo editing app. There’s literally hundreds of others you can download that are still totally free. Not to mention professional software I can just use on my laptop. Asking that much for an app is a joke. Maybe I’ll re-download if they open everything back up but probably not since I will have moved on to other apps by then.

deleting this after 9.99$ a month BS. sad cause i’ve had it for years. all my friends deleted it too... this is when an app gets too cocky. gonna lose all your supporters -other reviews help prove my point. i was loyal for yearsssssss. you guys are really shady for this. you know people have depended on your app and decided to use that to your advantage. it’s disappointing because PhotoWonder was AMAZINGGGGGGG. deleting. y’all should’ve stayed loyal to ur customers who purchased it years ago when it was free. you can’t just hit someone with a $10 charge out of nowhere... 😂😂😂stupid business move. ill edit this review and list some affordable editing apps after doing some research guys don’t worry :) i’m here for y’all unlike this app

I used to be able to select all the photos I wanted to put together in a collage BEFORE having to choose a layout. That was tremendously useful. Now, you are forcing users to choose the layout first, i.e., they must know exactly how many photos will be in the collage in order to choose the template with the correct number of photos. This is extremely cumbersome because I may not know ahead of time how many photos are going to be in the collage, and neither can I add/remove photos on the fly... instead, I’d have to backtrack all the way, select a different template, then choose the photos all over again. Not good. Please bring back the way it used to work.

I have used PhotoWonder for 5 years and it has always been a favorite of mine, I use it for almost all of my photos. I just upgraded my phone to the iPhone 8plus and every time I try to edit a photo the quality of the picture goes down the toilet and I cannot use any of the editing on PhotoWonder. I don’t know if there’s some new kind of update for the new phones that we have to use but it’s really bugging me.

The cost of PhotoWonder is $13 a month. That’s a $3 increase in a year. That’s absurd. You can pay $10 a month for the official Photoshop subscription. A phone app is not worth $13. Especially not when something like Photoshop is cheaper and superior. This was a great app but it eventually started crashing a lot with no resolve and now you can barely use any features without paying the $13. And again, when something superior like Photoshop is available, there’s zero reason to pay for this.

I’ve used PhotoWonder for many years and loved the filters and beautification options. But I won’t pay $10 a month for them when I can get the same beautification options on other apps for a cheaper price or even free. I pay $10 a month for a movie/streaming service, there’s no way I’d spend that amount on an editing app. It’d be one thing if it was a one time payment of that amount but monthly is way too much to spend on PhotoWonder. Especially since there are many out there that offer the same thing.

I’ll be deleting PhotoWonder from my phone and no longer recommending it to friends or family.

This USED to be one of my favorite editing apps, I’ve probably used this for the past 5+ years. All of a sudden, I’m now being prompted to pay a fee for the SAME exact service I’ve used to free all these years. This is ridiculous. I’ve literally NEVER reviewed an app before, until this. This was such an awful move. Congratulations on losing your users. Also, I used to be able to close out of PhotoWonder and open it back up and resume editing, but now it completely erases everything when you close PhotoWonder . You guys made some awful decisions with the changes to PhotoWonder.

So disappointed in PhotoWonder..I’m on the boat with all the other loyal customers. Their rating has to be plummeting. I never leave reviews but when I just went to edit a photo and saw that I ALL OF A SUDDEN have to pay $10/month to use it?...I’m deleting it! I’ve been using PhotoWonder for a few years at least now and I loved it! But now they’re charging? I get you have to make money, but even charging $10 out of nowhere especially from loyal customers who have been using it for years is a little extreme. Sad to have to delete it but I’m not paying that much. I guarantee they don’t have 100 million users world wide any more.

I’ve been using PhotoWonder for over 7 years! I’ve never used any other type of editing app because I thought PhotoWonder was AMAZING & easy to use. All the ads were a little annoying, but we’re worth ignoring because of how amazing PhotoWonder is. Now they want to charge $10 a month to use all the things I used to have access to FOR FREE?? That seems like WAAAYY to much to ask for a photo editing app when there are so many others to use for free. PhotoWonder is about to lose a lot of loyal people who had enjoyed it for so long. What a shame, hopefully the company cares enough about their users to fix this.

I’ve used PhotoWonder for the last five years, seldom, but for two of the tools it offered. It did wonderful for what I needed and it was 100% free. I really appreciated it for what it was. I go to use it today and find that I now have to pay $10 a month?! Are you crazy? I understand the developer wanting to make something off it, and I would be down to even pay a $10 one time fee for PhotoWonder . But for the amount I use it, $10 a month, no thanks. I will now just air drop a photo to any one of my macs and uses photoshop for the quick fix. Unfortunately can’t say I “Still love you ◕‿‿◕｡)づ”

I literally turned more than 200 people on to this cool app (used this lift daily!!) and when I had a bone marrow transplant a couple months ago, whoever had my phone accidentally deleted some apps. I’ve sent many emails to the developer and business and marketing emails, asking to 🙏🏻PLEASE restore my prior version that I downloaded in *2012* and used daily til this summer and no one has restored or responded !
I’m so sad all my friends have their free thinlify and the person who told them about PhotoWonder 7 years ago can’t use it anymore! If they reinstate me I’ll change to 5 stars!

I used to love using PhotoWonder when I had iphone7. Now that I switched to iphone x, whenever i try editing, especially when using ‘beauty’ tools, it shows black screen and shuts down itself. The quality of edited photos saved on the device are very poor too, and this did not happen in iphone7 either. Please fix the bugs and maybe upgrade your version so it can work as well with the newer iphones. I would love to go back and use PhotoWonder.

Let it be known that I had PhotoWonder for about five years as well. I loved it! It was FREE... all of a sudden it started to limit the tools you could use, pushing you to subscribe and pay a monthly fee for something that I had already been using FREE. So frustrating. Like the above review said... I wouldn’t mind paying a ONE TIME fee, I just don’t use photo editing that much to where I’d be able to justify a monthly charge. Lame. It’s a photo editing relationship I will miss however, there’s plenty of free fish in the sea!

Shuts down mid edit which is SUPER frustrating!! This is new or when it needs an update and right now it does not so I’ve edited my photo 4 times now and it has shut down mid edit all 4 times. Other than that my only request is to be able to thin out the body without the movement of the background, doorways, mirror etc I mean what’s the point when it actually shows I have edited myself. We want to edit without it showing any trace or proof we edited! 💁🏻‍♀️

This used to be my go-to app for editing since it was easy to use, but now suddenly the most basic features - that tons of other apps have for free and do better - are considered “premium”?!? Are they insane? ESPECIALLY at 9.99 a month?!?

I do still use PhotoWonder occasionally because I like some of the filters that are still free to use, but I’ll probably delete it before long. I get that everybody needs to make money, but it’s disappointing that they seem to think charging so much for basic functions is okay.

I started this Photo Wonder since it’s a free app. I used it for 2 years and I really like it. I share it with a lot of friends who are also using it now. Then when I tried using it this November, the beauty tools doesn't work without doing an upgrade, they offer me a trial for 3 days. When I tried the new features, I am not satisfied. So I like the old free app Photo Wonder. I was impressed with the new feature and its not free anymore.

Ever since iPhone X and iPhone 8/8+ came out, PhotoWonder does not adapt well with the new phones. Every time I try I edit a picture with PhotoWonder using pics taken from those phones the quality goes to the garbage despite already setting the picture saving output to “large.” It’s really bothering me. Also PhotoWonder has yet to adopt to the iPhone X unfortunately
