Great app but very unstable. Usable at the moment. The previous version was way better. One of the problems is that the programs are not available timely as before with the previous app. I am in Los Angeles, 9 hours behind Italy. At my lunch/dinner time I used to watch programs aired at lunch/dinner time in Italy thanks to the time difference. Now I don’t see the programs until the day after. The “dirette” don’t work. Please fix or return to the old app. Multitasking doesn’t work anymore. I can’t watch this app and browse the internet.

Since this last update everything freezes up. A fix is needed I don’t understand why an app that everyone should love they make it terrible and every time they update it somehow it gets worse and useless.

Rai has always been at the forefront of innovation in broadcasting technology, but frequently lacked the resources and operational capabilities to bring its innovations to scale. In this case, nothing had to be innovated (it was enough to copy what all the other broadcasters are doing with their apps); nevertheless the result is a total disaster, mainly because a glitchy front-end cannot deliver a steady stream due to an insufficient amount of resources on the back-end. What a shame.

I was able to see few Italian programs and now those are no longer available. They should no offer RaiPlay outside of Italy if the programs are not available to watch.

Live isn’t available outside Italy! Please allow it every where so we can follow the news of our friends there especially during this period

How can I begin to illustrate what a horrible update this is.
Just about every title listed shows as “unavailable” and it continually crashes.
I emailed tech support several times and never received a response.
Bring back the old app. At least it didn’t crash every 5 minutes.

Make all cartoons available outside of Italy!

Your application is perfectly good work, incredibly great. I love her Italian series, and I don't care about the language whatever it is.. I already want to see the broadcast.

I want you to do it, you should unlock the zone of the Latin American region for Ecuador, please it is urgent. 🙏🏻

Is the worst app ever. It doesn’t work. Freeze every time buffer all the time and get stuck almost on every channel. No matter I do uninstall it close it etc. it doesn’t work. Is the only connection that I have with my own country and is a mirror of what is Rai

RaiPlay is absolutely useless in the US because very little, actually almost nothing, can be seen from the US where RAI cannot deliver due to copyrights. If so, why even bother having RaiPlay available for dowload and installation in the US where it is useless?

As often with apps released by italian governmentalorganizations, this is is exactly what one shouldn’t do when designing an app. And with the latest update you have to log in almost every time you use RaiPlay .

RaiPlay is full of bugs, the shows shut down unexpectedly and to reconnect you have to watch ads all over again! And this is supposed to be our public service...

A couple of examples: the total absence of science and technology from the documentary selection illustrates the RAI cultural bias towards the old television subculture, as well as the presence of Yuja Wang in classical music. A sad reminder of how poorly the forced economic contribution of the italian public is wasted by an uncompetitive organization filled of apparitchik appointees.

I’m not sure where I’m going wrong but RaiPlay freezes, crashes, and is otherwise not operational. Sometimes if I’m lucky I’ll get a gray screen with the Oops error message.

...When you are in the US and nothing is available because you’re not in Italy?? I thought that was the point!!!

Only one channel is available to view outside of Italy on RaiPlay. RaiNews24

it crashes all the time, if i was in apple shoes I will not allow such a bad app in the store!! really a shame!

Hasn’t been working for days, tried deleting and reinstalling RaiPlay . No luck. RAI needs to fix this and provide a reliable app

Not even with this latest release they have fixed the OFFLINE VIEW function.
