I downloaded Cello in Israel, put on my credit card, was charged 50 shekels. The charge went through on my credit card. And then when I tried to use Cello to pay for a bus ticket , it said there was something wrong with the credit card and to add another card. So I added another card , and was charged another 50 shekels, and my credit card was charged again yet I received the same error.
I contacted customer service and they told me that there is no way to remedy this problem. I sent them a screenshot of the error message. I was receiving they were totally rude and did not refund my money even though there’s no way for me to use the service.
Total scam. terrible customer service.

Cello requires you to pre load money starting at 50nis and then this only works for street parking, not for parking lots as it leads you to think when you download Cello . They do not refund you for balances not used. I would avoid.

Cello shows that the parking has started when it actually hasn't, resulting in parking tickets.

I got a text from Cellopark as to how wonderful it was that my cat was checked but I had Cellopark!! However, I was given a parking ticket!!!!

Don’t bother renting a car in Israel. You won’t be able to park anywhere. You have to have an Israeli ID number to use Cello and all roads lead to nowhere using this or pango.

App would not scan the ticket and allow to pay, otherwise worked fine

Tried to use it with parking lots in Israel. It made me charge the card. It didn’t work and they refused refund . Move to Pango

I was overcharged when parking was supposed to stop automatically. Called “customer service” and told to contact municipality myself. Just bad service.

Sign up was easy, however, after signing up I started to find monthly charges on my credit card for “insurance” which I never requested. There’s no way in the application to even sign-up for this feature or remove.
This company is a scam.

Pango doesn’t charge your card in advance. Cello requires you to first load money onto your account and if you don’t use it they keep the balance you can’t get it back. Pango just charges you for what you use and has helpful info like when parking is in affect.

I downloaded Cello while visiting Israel and wanted to use it to pay for a parking lot, which is one of the specified options in Cello . I deposited 100 shekels via my credit card and when I attempted to pay all I kept seeing was a large “Forbidden!” banner. I tried paying 5 times in 3 different locations (a hospital and two malls), and it didn't work in either. When I contacted customer support I was bamboozled with a bunch of extend wait time and silly excuses, and they refused to refund my 100 shekels.
Beware! The service is fraudulent and untrustworthy with terrible customer support.

I have been trying to use Cello and the first time I thought it was correct I received a ticket within 15 min. Tried to call Cellopark and pushed the correct prompts for an English speaking customer service rep and took me back to Hebrew. I also emailed/contacted from Cello with no response.

Waisted 30 minutes trying to get it to work and got parking ticket anyway.

I use this app for 2 cars. I used this app but didn’t change the car to the correct one, got fine and Ramat Yishai did not agree the cancel it although I showed them it was just an error on my side.
Since this app has the bluetooth connection associate with each car, why wouldn’t it propose the correct car based on BT connection?

Also: stop showing annoying ads every time I want to use Cello . I don’t want extra services you propose - so why do I need to see it each and every time I park???

I have limited Hebrew and I use Cello . Generally I’m very satisfied. I’d have given it 4.5 if that had been possibly. The only problem is all customer service contact is in Hebrew. After writing English about a dozen times you get a Hebrew message ( thank you google translate) telling you they will get someone. That takes hours!!! Once someone does come they are helpful and efficient!

However, 2 days ago I get the standard message that my car just entered a parking garage and if I want to activate their service. Only problem is that my car wasn’t even being driven when this occurred and I did not enter any parking garage anywhere.
I also today looked at my yearly charges and it seems that I am being charged a high monthly service charge for their service in addition to the actual parking charges.

I’ve been trying to login for the last many months and I put in my United States cell phone number but don’t receive any text with a password! No customer service number to contact anyone either!

Update: after leaving a review they contacted me and I was able to setup with their assistance.
They claim that if it’s a foreign number you need to go through their customer service

App is fully in English and allows foreigners to register their rental car for parking and the toll road. Also works at parking lots. You can set the payment to start in the morning after free parking ends, so you don’t have to wake up to start payment. Great app!
