This app is a security threat!

I had an account in indusind bank and my account was cleaned out of 2.5 lacs via IndusMobile app. Mind you I didn’t share any OTP or login details obviously. This was a fraud transaction done via Indus. Please beware and close your account in this bank as it is not safe. When I posted, 9 more cases emerged with the same app

Worst mobile app experience and services also not good.

Almost 2 years back opened NRI/NRO account but still I never use bank for any transactions worst mobile use experience. Even for mobile registration they takes almost month and also they mobile user experience is worst part. They are supporting the FaceID users.

I wouldn’t recommend this bank for anything

Worst banking app I have ever used

1. Slow
2. Not user friendly
3. in Iphone 11 Pro it is asking for Touch ID. Not yet upgraded for Face ID.
4. User interface is not at all compatable for my Iphone 11 Pro. Few options are ven partially visible.
5. For First time registration, after login with user id and MPIN came from bank kit, app asked to change the userid and mpin. The OTP request sent never reached my phone. Finally had to do from my laptop browser.

1 Start is still more for Indus. I have used plenty of bank app in India and USA. Even the Nationalized banks (govt banks) of India are known for non-tech savy, but they have better app than IndisInd bank.

Worst bank, app and worst customer service

I open my account almost 5 years ago and it’s been two years. The bank is still trying to verify all my information on the web submitted everything and showed up in person and still they cannot resolve. Worst experience ever.

Worst Banking App Ever! No Support for IOS 14

I doubt if there is any development team backing up Indus now. Indus is worst of all banking apps. Slow as hell and crashes frequently while doing transactions or if making any requests. Adding to the surprise, Indus doesn’t work on IOS 14 at all. I wonder if there will be any update for this or if iphone users will be able to access banking thru Indus.

Bank app should not worse like this one.

I used so many bank apps in US and India but this is the awful app. Never seen an not recognizing the WiFi and keeps spinning when you click on any transaction. It’s in fact very very slow and now after my card is renewed it still shows an expired card with no billed transactions. It’s getting worse as I have to login the portal to track and pay my bills

Poor app management and maintenance

Every single time I try to log into Indus I get this message We are unable to process your request. Please try again later.

And I can’t even login to Indus the worst part is the customer service I emailed almost 4 times in the past 3 months regarding Indus and the customer issues towards setting my cc pin but no response at all I mean I get a list of issues with this bank

Very slow on operations

I really enjoyed using Indus before tho it was slow I was able to get what I wanted in one attempt, however since few times I see Indus crashes, keeps buffering and fails to go from one transaction to another.
I hope to see good updates come soon.

Spamming with marketing notification with Ads

I was not able to use indusfastremit. Got 403 error. They registered a ticket and I am waiting for a fix. My account is still yet to be activated . Its been more than a month and feels like the process takes forever. Most importantly, their marketing ads omgggg not able to tolerate. They prove its an indian app. Common like 10-15 a day? Are you serious. I wish i could post the pictures. I am so afraid I might miss some important account notification because of this spamming marketing notifications. There is no way to turn it off.

Giving 2 stars because their response and customer service is pretty good. Its not like the end of the tunnel. But please try using US banking by yourself and you will not see these many spam marketing ads. Please guys give us an option to disable it.

Need to maintain multiple logins

Why we need to maintain and remember multiple logins for logging into to bank vs net banking vs mobile banking. Its weird and inconvenient. The designers dont need to work hard just look at other apps like Citibank or Bank of America or Chase etc. The login should be 1 stop shop for all accounts belonging to a person. You can keep two factor authentication but login should be same for all features & accounts.

Slow and buggy App that tests your patience

This has got to be the worst banking app out there. It doesnt load or work half of the time giving out errors. Indus seems to be just a bad webview embedded in Indus . I have stopped putting any money into this bank because a bank that cant put money into developing a secure app wont be putting any money towards keeping my money secure. The only reason i use this is because it is the only bank that allows me to have upi id and MF

Notifications are useless

Indus has been improving steadily but has ways to go before it can be considered good.

Even after the latest update the UI is not tweaked for the new iPhones. The top portion of Indus is still being cutoff by the Dynamic Island in iOS.

Notifications sent by Indusind are useless. Please get rid of advertisements in the notifications and actually send transaction information. Right now the notifications can be turned off by the user and they would not lose anything.

Overall the UI needs work, some screens are too data dense with small fonts.

And please add Dark Theme support

Get the basic stuff done

Indus helps to get the basic stuff done. But it’s not as responsive as other mobile apps. Most annoying thing is entering otp. There’s no way we can paste otp from sms. Have to remember the number and enter it one by one slowly

Used to be good

However now I cannot even get logged in. I am using an iPhone 6 but Indus description says it’s compatible with this phone. But when logging in, it throws up numerous error alerts. When I contacted customer care, they didn’t care. It used to be a good bank as well.

Sep 2023:Still Outstanding!

Continues to work very well.
One small suggestion - in trying to update/change my account details for the same bank as used in the previous account, the only edit field available is the “nickname”.
I’m going to have to re-enter all the unchanged details: codes, location, bank etc!?

I’m a longtime user of mobile banking apps. Typically with a VPN. I’m using Indus for the first time now and it’s knocked my socks off! In other words, it beats my HDFC & SBI YONO apps hollow!! Very impressive, many kudos to the developers and their team. 👏🏾🙏🏾

Mobile app developer

Seems like Indus is either crashing on logout or dev team intentionally killed Indus on logout. Either way it is not good UI as user may have to relogin after logout.

Forcing to use new app

Indus has been great mostly. There were some issues like getting upi to work etc. but other than that Indus has been working and is very functional.
But recently Indus has been forcing me to install a new app, stating this one will stop working. When I click on the link it says Indus is not available X-(
If you are designing a new app can you make sure it is available in the same regions as the old one?

Better than before but not the best App yet

Much better clutter free clean and modern interface. Those complaining here should take a look at Apps of other major banks like HDFC, which is several years behind Indus. Overall, I like the new IndusMobile App

Freezing

App is good but it is not working most of the time while amount transfer.

Great app but only basic banking options..

Simple and easy to use, fund transfers made really easy.
