Castlebranch Scam

Bad company, worse app
Everything takes forever to be reviewed. It’s hard to reach customer service. myCB doesn’t work. Keeps telling me my password is wrong even though I’m logging in on the computer just fine. myCB doesn’t show my to-do lists or give me and option to upload documents. Castlebranch is a scam. I also paid for a 85$ package last year for my first year of nursing. I just transferred to a new school and they will not transfer my original package so I had to spend another 85$ on a new package. They also keep denying my BID form for various reasons when I’ve submitted multiple in the past the same way to other companies and they still accepted it without address and phone number of previous places that have performed BID forms. How can I put the address and phone numbers of each company when it’s a one line form and I’ve had multiple done??
ANOTHER WAY COLLEGES AND COMPANIES SQUEEZE AS MONEY AS POSSIBLE FROM PEOPLE WHO DON’T HAVE THE MONEY TO BEGIN WITH. Screw you guys.

Lazy, disinterested in customers

No interface updates in 5 years. That was iOS 8, people. That’s 5 times the operating system has changed and they haven’t even updated the keyboard in myCB to match. It’s so simple and they just don’t care to do it. myCB has 1 Star for a reason. It’s old, abandoned trash and Castlebranch, who already provide a pathetically poor quality of service, are demonstrating just how little they care about their customers by leaving myCB in the backyard to grow weeds. I’ve developed a couple new marketing campaigns for you...
Castlebranch: it shouldn’t take this long, but it does.
Castlebranch: we have an app?

I know about 50 people who are forced to use Castlebranch to verify their medicals and we all loathe it. Some have just stopped using it altogether due to falsely rejected records and extended delays.

Do not use this company

One of the worst most infuriating companies I’ve ever worked with. They consistently have system so slow that in between each click I completing other tasks while waiting for the screen to load. This happens on my phone laptop and hardwired computers. This makes submitting even a single document a 30-45 min experience. They have on multiple occasions rejected screen shots and photos for being unreadable despite my school and other people agreeing that the photos were fine. Their pdf upload function doesn’t work meaning that when I upload PDFs it scrambles the text and makes it worthless. I have had so much frustration being forced to deal with this worthless company. DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR EMPLOYEES OR STUDENTS TO THIS POORLY RUN FAILURE OF A COMPANY.

Easy To Use And Access

myCB works well to track document progress and keep everything in one place. It’s great to know that all of my clearances are stored in the same place, securely. It’s very easy to have documents sent directly from this interface or pdf a dossier for personal backup or to send to an employer/potential employer. I did have to call customer service to confirm that my submission was complete—the representative was very helpful and courteous on the phone. I prefer to have these documents with sensitive information stored securely and available on an as-needed basis than rattling around in a campus filing cabinet.

Unreliable

I am in school and they switched to this program about 6 months ago for our required documents and I wish they would go back to verified credentials! The website is IMPOSSIBLE and the errors are constant, myCB is no better and frequently fails the document upload process or just kicks you out of myCB and does nothing. I am using myCB because the website will only pull up greyed out on all of my desktops and other devices. myCB was recommended and it has done no good. I have missed my school registration and possibly the entire quarter because of this awful website and app. FIX IT! I hope my school dumps this company because it’s been nothing but a headache for MULTIPLE students.

Outdated but Not Pending Update

App says it’s out of date and can not be used. It says it requires an update. However, when you click on it and it launches myCB Store, there is no later version of this! myCB is really convenient when it works. However, my program is requiring us to upload some further documentation and I have to log on to my computer to do so now. Wish they would update myCB so it’s usable on the mobile platform again. Otherwise, I’ve had no problem or issues with myCB or company. They’ve always been helpful and useful.

Hope you have a lot of free time and patience

We were mandated to utilize myCB for nursing school. I am not exaggerating when I say it took 13-25 minutes per page to upload. Days! It took me multiple days to upload every. single. piece. of. paper. Vaccinations, one vax and one page at a time. All of them. Physical. All 5 pages. One at a time. Background check. So many things. myCB is terrible. It kicks you off after you waited the infinity to log on. The ONLY good thing about myCB is that I am able to forward these docs as I’m applying for reciprocity or jobs. Other than that, myCB is worthless and miserably frustrating and time consuming.

Avoid at all costs

myCB is absolutely horrendous and impossible to work with. Constant “connection errors”, customer service that you can never actually talk to after waiting on the phone for over an hour, and pages meant to help you that can load and load and never actually display documents. I would sooner eat glass, count every blade of grass on this planet, nail jelly to a wall, than have to use myCB. Unfortunately, my university believes this is the ideal service to use and I will be stuck with it for years to come. I sincerely hope Castlebranch plans on improving their next to useless system. The website is just as horrible.

Creators should be embarrassed

The website runs as if it was coded by a 4th grader in the year 2003. Customer service is nonexistent, at this point I’d rather it just be bad. If you have ANY other company to chose from, choose them. The 400+ one star reviews speak for themselves. Don’t try to “save money” with this company because it takes around 45 minutes to upload a SINGLE pdf, and that’s if it actually will upload. I’ve been trying for a week and collective spent four hours trying to upload a ONE page PDF. What you may save in money you WILL pay 4 fold in your time. The coders of this website should be embarrassed.

Need Major Updating

I’m currently using this program through my college and nursing program, and wow myCB needs some major updates. I agree with other users where it needs to be faster, but also needs to be updated for the current mobile devices. It’s needs a cleaner and sleeker design than it currently has, also it hurts my eyes to use the mobile app so I usually stick with using Safari to open the website when not on my laptop. I would use it more if there were improvements.

How is this still in the app store?

myCB is so bad. I can’t check my documents (covid-19 vaccine record) because it keeps loading and then myCB closes and says that it timed out. I have been trying to close and open, turn off and on phone, and it just doesn’t work. I been trying this for about a month now and its the same result. myCB isn’t broken, its more like nonexistent. Apple should remove it from the appstore until they make an actual app. I might be in trouble with my school because of this..

Difficult to deal with

myCB is very slow to load, and I had one document I uploaded with myCB get rejected because it was too blurry to read (even though it was completely clear when I uploaded it, as it was directly computer-generated). I also had one document that somehow uploaded multiple times to one requirement, and since then that requirement has been stuck in “processing” for several days now.

These issues probably have to do more with the CastleBranch service as a whole, rather than just with myCB itself. 😒

Horrible experience

it was mandatory that I purchase this to upload documents for school. After about two weeks, it would no longer let me log into myCB . It read “app is outdated. needs updated” but there was no update available. my submissions would be clear and legible on my end, but when you go back and look at them after they’ve went through the CB software, the entire page was blurry and completely illegible. Website works great for the most part, but myCB is horrible.

Perfect!

I don’t see what the issue is. There’s - knock on wood - nothing wrong with myCB! It does what I need it to do, which is check my To-Do List. I haven’t uploaded any documents using myCB, as I use my computer, but it is up-to-date. I recommend myCB to anyone who just wants to use it for convenience if they don’t have their laptop in hand.

No updates in 3 years!?

myCB hasn’t been updated in 3 years and it shows! Everything takes forever to process in myCB and connection to the service is constantly dropped. There really is no point in myCB, so much so that even the developers don’t see the point in it given it has not been updated in three years (bad sign). Save yourself the frustration and storage space and just go to the website. myCB is old and utter useless.

Pretty laughably terrible

Every time I deal with Castle Branch it’s painful and their app continues in this tradition. It crashes. It’s interface is unusable. myCB is essentially worthless, not dissimilar to castle branch itself. It’s hilarious to think that the hour (maybe two) that this company put into app development has resulted in thousands of wasted hours collectively by anyone who has ever tried to use myCB secondary to being forced into doing any kind of business with castle branch. myCB is a sad joke.

Embarrassingly Bad App

I had to pay about 150 dollars to even use this platform as required by my university. It is the most lazy document uploading service I have ever seen. The interface looks like it was designed for an iphone 3. I can’t upload anything from my phone without myCB crashing. Documents randomly get rejected. There are sometimes not even links to click on to submit documents. Terrible excuse for an app, and a horrendous cash grab.

Uploaded a document for school and it completely blurred out the entire picture! I submitted it two weeks ago and just received an email that it is now illegible. Now I have problems due to an app that is utterly useless. The operator told me that they do not recommend using myCB . I don’t understand how they have an app if they do not recommend using it and have so many problems with it. Completely disappointed! I’ll make sure to never use myCB again!

Unprofessional

This system is flawed, there is no reply system in place for the emails they send out. Speaking with customer service is awful. The school should have students utilizing this service as if they work for university. I pay tuition and I have to send all my required documents to another service and they don’t seem to be cari g or interested. What happen to mailing documents to the institution? This company need to revamp the way service is done and communicate better with consumers!

Outdated, slow, and useless. You’re lucky if your documents and to-do lists actually load. Uploading documents is impossible. I’ve tried multiple times on multiple occasions on multiple networks and it says “connection error” every single time. There’s no point in downloading myCB . Just continue to use it through the web browser.

First impression....not impressed

I am unable to log in on my computer it freezes my laptop, my desktop and I have to re-enter my information after I log in. WTH!!! It’s asking for me to update my information every time I login again after freezing up smh! So I get myCB on my iPhone it states app needs to update so I update my iPhone doesn’t help. So I go to my iPad same message! What’s really going on! I need to get in and to upload my things ASAP!!!

This application is TERRIBLE. CUNY in New York insists on using this program for their nursing programs. myCB itself is unreliable and 99% of the time your unable to even access your own things. It’s always “ unable to load”. The company as a whole has horrendous customer service. Someone near and dear to a college program director must have invented myCB which is why it’s in existence. To the creator of castle branch, your charging $ for GARBAGE service. Step your game up.

Extremely unhappy

If I could rate “0 stars” I would. First off the costumer service is horrible, I’ve had to wait on hold for over two hours on multiple occasions and when I finally did get ahold of someone they’re always very rude. myCB it’s self is annoying to work with and kind of buggy, which is super inconvenient since you have to upload photos. The website itself is fine but signing up initially is also a pain.

I have essentially had to submit each and every requirement and/or document at least twice. This company is legitimately inept and myCB is no better. This has been the most frustrating and painful part of obtaining my second bachelors degree- dealing with this ridiculous company. It 0 stars was an option I would gladly give them zero. Or less than if possible.

Out of date

myCB was working fine and then all of a sudden I went to login and check to see if I had anything left to upload (uploaded everything via computer) and to see if my BCI and FBI check had come back yet and it said Out Of Date need to update. There was not an update and still is not one and I can only login on the website to check for updates and changes.
