Used to be great but doesn’t work anymore. It’s permanently stuck on ‘Today or overdue,’ and it’s impossible to change to show all reminders.

RemindersWidget was working well on my iPhone 5s until the recent update. Please fix!

I’ve had this widget since I bought the iPhone X when it first came out. After finally upgrading to iPhone 13 pro I pondered what the widget really does - so I deleted it to see what I’d lose. Guess what? I lost nothing! My Apple reminders behave exactly the same as they did with the widget. Could be user ignorance? Maybe. But when I reinstalled the widget and checked again I saw absolutely no difference. I deleted it again, same outcome. So I see no point for having this widget. I’m moving forward without it.

My app doesn’t open up with a nice full view of everything that needs to be manipulated during the set up of the reminder.

Got app free to try. Didn’t work. Would have been even less happy had I paid anything for this. All it does is allow me to open my Reminders - which I can do on the Reminders icon. Even video help is useless.

It doesn't expand in iOS 11. Hitting "show more"/"show less" doesn't fix it. Neither does removing/re-adding, restarting phone etc. It only shows the top line of the first reminder on your list and that's it. Please fix it.

Based on the screen shots RemindersWidget isn’t what I expected. I was planning on using RemindersWidget as a shopping list app but it’s not what I expected.
If you had two shopping lists each item for each list will be listed individually and not as a sub list to each of the stores.
In addition to all my other items in my reminder they show up also under the widgets area too.
Thanks but not what I expected.

Y’all aren’t doing enough beta testing. The bar is higher for paid apps. Go free (and refund those of us who have already paid) if you’re going to use us as test subjects.

(I began writing this review but since received a helpful response to my feedback from the developer team, so I am updating my review before it posts.)
This is an improvement over the native Reminders widget, but, for me, it could improve in the following ways:
- "Today or overdue" only displays overdue items, not items that are due later in the day (as the name suggests). This defeats the purpose for me, since I'll miss reminders I set to be seen all day, but be reminded of later in the day. (I received word from the developer team that this is a bug that will be fixed in future updates.)
- I wish there was an option to have the entire list expanded vertically instead of having to tap the vertical arrows; hiding them causes me to miss reminders, which was the whole reason I wanted a better widget in the first place. (The developer team informed me that the height of the widget is limited by Apple, which is an understandable restriction, really; bummer.)
- I wish there was a tap-through link to the "Scheduled" or "Lists" view in the native Reminders app. (The developer team filled me in that tapping an item will bring you to its specific list in Reminders, which is a reasonable compromise. I've suggested having a tap of the list title open the main app instead of toggling sorting. I'd personally be happy to toggle sorting, rarely, in the settings for the widget.)
I'd love to hide my Reminders app from the home screen entirely if all of this was in place. Pretty great widget improvement, overall.

Best widget to-do list. By far. Thanks!

So far so good. I’m afraid of any new update. 😑

I just got RemindersWidget early this morning. I emailed the support team with a few issues/concerns that I discovered when I initially tried RemindersWidget , and had a satisfactory fix or explanation to each item by EOD. Very impressive. Other apps (not just reminder apps) at best say they’ll fix the issue with an update in a certain number of days or weeks. RemindersWidget released an update today in response to my email. That’s incredible.

I really like that RemindersWidget keeps reminding me of the things that I need to do in such a timely manner! It's so cool! Rachel

Any chance of adding natural language input?

I got RemindersWidget because the native Reminders widget doesn’t show me all the reminders I’ve entered. Sometimes I enter things that don’t necessarily have set due dates but are things I need to do at some point. This shows me everything simple and effective!

I started using this recently as I had to change my calendar and the calendar use reminders. Like this as it allows me to enter reminders on my lock screen and also look at all reminders. So far, I have found nothing I can complain about. Thanks for such a great product.
